A story was once told of a group of Anons displaced from reality. As their very existences needed a bit of time to re-calibrate, they found solace in the company of each other. However, unbeknownst to them, they were not the only ones experiencing a fatal, reality-ending error. For while they merrily gave each other silly names and drove themselves mad over the course of an excruciatingly long eight minutes, their wives were also having an accidental meet-up.

And it was much more awkward.

One day, Izzy strolls into the Crystal Brighthouse with a mud-covered... thing. Neither she nor her friends know quite what it is, but she is determined to find out. As such, she gets to work on the long, arduous process of restoring the unknown thingamajig. Heck, she might even succeed!

And her friends might regret letting her.

Izzy proclaims herself a mind reader and Sunny isn't impressed. Not without proof and maybe a little playful teasing.

Sunny Starscout has set out on the path of reunifying Equestria. She's found a circle of friends, showed the tribes that they can co-exist, and even restored magic to the land.

Things are normal at the Crystal Brighthouse, but when Misty's notebook starts to burst with poems and writings dedicated to Sunny, a question sends her on a journey within to find the source.

It's been a rough two weeks for Sunny Starscout. She expected her Bridlewood vacation to be simple- relax with Izzy, see the town, and have fun.

Izzy has other ideas. Namely going on an adventure. Cause adventures are fun and Sunny likes those a lot, even if she says otherwise. And if Izzy has a few ideas on what to say to her best friend after the adventure? Even better.

Cause Bridlewood has ruins that Sunny would just love to visit.

While exploring the decrepit remains of the Castle of Friendship, Sunny Starscout and her friends discover a strange book that might have belonged to Princess Twilight Sparkle herself. The book's contents resemble a series of letters that were apparently sent back and forth between Twilight and an unknown party.

At some point, Twilight stopped responding.

In the New Generation movie, Canterlogic has only been around for 20 moons. So why does Hitch say he stops Sunny every year? Just how long has Hitch been stopping Sunny from sneaking into things? And why is it so important, not just for her sake, but for all of Equestria?

Here's a look at the backstory leading up to Sunny and Hitch's confrontation in the New Generation movie, and also on some of the mysteries surrounding Sunny's life in Maretime Bay in general.
