The pony that came back after 1000 years of exile to the moon was not the pony that Celestia expected. Instead of the menacing figure of Nightmare Moon what she instead got was a madly cackling alicorn rolling in a grassy field occasionally taking a break to stroke the lush green plants as if they were the most fascinating thing in the world.

While this was certainly better than the alternative Celestia was a bit miffed that her sister had not even acknowledged her presence before going to play in the grass. How could grass be more interesting than her?

Anon and Celestia go to their first lesson in potion brewing. All the while, Anon has to juggle keeping his new interest a secret, and coming to terms with his feelings towards the mare. The big question is: when will he ask her out?

Despite moving to Ponyville, Octavia's career is going strong. In high society, name and recognition is everything, this is holds true for anypony who wishes to work in those circles. So sometimes having a reputation helps in getting those well paying jobs at private parties.

But sometimes? Sometimes Octavia hates her reputation. Because when a pony is found dead in the estate of House Radon, every eye turns to her to figure out who killed the pony, including the main suspect herself: Lyra Heartstrings.

With the rest of Canterlot a blizzard away, help is not likely to show up any time soon. So not only will Octavia have to figure out who among the guests is a killer, she'll also need to confront past demons she wishes she'd left behind.

Winter is over, the spring winds blow gently and the red poppies dance. This story tries to make the best of the worst ending Equestria could get in the EAW universe. it was heavily inspired by generation 3 of my little pony, as well as the indie game 'we happy few.'
