The greatest evil in Equestria has been defeated but something has disturbed the peace and it may be the greatest foe they have ever encountered.
Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow have been defeated and for years everything was peaceful but now years later and while Twilight has ascended to the throne, she begins to get weird reports out from ships and it's making her worried, and she has the right to. She will need all of her friends for this one because they witness one of the greatest and mightiest monster that they have ever laid their eyes on.
This version of The King of the Monsters is back and this time he attacks near the end of their story.
It was a lovely day in Maretime Bay and everything was right, currently Sunny and Izzy were heading back to HQ as their new friend Discord had something to show them something which was back in ancient Equestria.
(Sunny) “You think that Discord has something from ancient Equestria?”
(Izzy) “Well, I think that he does, especially with us knowing Discord more, he rarely lies.”
They reached the place finally and were instantly greeted by Discord at the Door.
(Discord) “Ah girls, eh- where are the others?”
(Sunny) “Yeah, they're busy for the day dealing with their stuff.”
(Discord) “Oh, that's a shame, I was hoping to share all these treats with you all but oh well more for us huh?”
(Discord) “But still I'm glad you all came, I have an old tape in black in white by the way, of how there was one more threat that nearly destroyed Equestria when dear Twilight Sparkle ascended to the throne, and it was certainly the most powerful beast I have seen in eons.”
The news shocked Sunny, she had of course for a while wanted to learn more about Twilight, and to be honest she hadn't heard much about them having an encounter with a beast nearly destroying the kingdom after everything was getting settled. But what made her mind jumble around was the beast itself, what was it? She had to know what it was.
(Sunny) "Beast? A beast, almost took down Equestria and it attacked just as Twilight's kingdom began?"
(Discord) "Indeed, Sunny it was a wild time but hey I shouldn't be telling you this I should be showing you! So, let's begin shall we?"
They smiled nodding agreement as they got settled while Discord struggled with the projector messing up and getting entangled in the film before finally turning on with the film as a mess.
(Discord) "Now girls before we get into Twilight and others I think I must show you the origins of the creature in question and what to call him you may ask, well after a while I learned his name.... Godzilla.”

(Discord) "Its origin comes from another dimension on a planet called Earth, it was the end of a great war and everything was settling down until the grounds were attacked by a creature that originated from the past and killed many before going into the sea. But then they tested powerful weapons testing them out in the sea which was quite unfortunate because the creature was in the area in one of these tests and this led to mutating it and making it grow in size and begin attacking ships, they tried to stop him but he was unstoppable and while he was swimming away he was swallowed by a portal! What happened after you may ask? Well, this is where me and my old friends come in....."

Peace. That was something that was not known for a while but yet there has been peace. Years ago the Legion of Doom was defeated once and for all by the two princesses and Discord, putting them in stone. Now the two princesses have retired and Twilight has risen to the throne, finally ready to become their ruler. Not only that but as everyone aged things really began to change around, but luckily didn't change too much. Twilight and Spike, who was now her friendship ambassador, stayed mostly in Canterlot but visited her friends from time to time. Not only that but Twilight had herself a protege named Luster Dawn who was the child of Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst. At first, she didn't get the concept of friendship too much but eventually after a story from Twilight and meeting the others and how after so long they stayed together she welcomed it and moved to Ponyville.
So now everything went back to peace and Discord himself was never so happy. He was finally at peace and mind, he knew the others like the back of his hand and he of course had a new way to release his chaos without anyone complaining. Of course, while it is true that he is more careful, he is sometimes a little careless at those times however one of those times is now.
He has been for the first time since he was a young draconequus, he has been training with what he was able to do. While it was true that most of the evil was gone, Discord while quite enjoying it knew that something or someone would come out of the shadows and attack Equestria and his friends and he had to be prepared if that moment ever came. After practicing for a while he began to notice something about his magic. When he used his magic magical energy would sparkle from his hands, and after a while, it began to go around his arms. He looked at his arms puzzled as magic-like electricity sparked on his arms.
(Discord) "Hm, something is going on with my magic, I hope it's not something bad because if it is then I have to tell Twilight immediately! "But if not then oh well, nothing to worry about in the slightest but perhaps I should continue."
And so he did he continued to practice and practice before it began to go around his body as he continued to get warped in this energy his face was that of worry as he continued snapping and thinking, using his magic over and over before he felt something click in his brain before being consumed by the energy his head arching backward and his arms and hands shooting out straight as he began yelling in pain as cracks began to appear on his body. All around him, his home began to crack as well before suddenly blasting out a beam of magic that went out of the dimension and shot into the ocean outside of Manhattan. Before stopping everything turned back to how it was before. Discord out of his state was more worried than ever.
(Discord) "I-I have to tell Twilight right away no distractions!"
He snapped away out of the dimension to Canterlot to tell Twilight and Spike what just happened. Meanwhile, onlookers looked on as the beam fired into the ocean for a bit before a portal opened up underneath and just as suddenly the beam stopped and the portal was left there. Others continued to look on before seeing a shape approach the portal and burst out of it before standing up on two legs and growing to full height many looked on in horror as they the creature before them before it let out a roar.
(Spike) "So how is it now that your student is following in your footsteps or hoofsteps?"
(Twilight) "It is very nice knowing that my student is getting her friends and maybe even friends like mine."
(Spike) "Yeah, she would have to be very lucky to get friends like that, luckily there aren't as many threats as now as it was then, so perhaps they will have a more peaceful friendship."
(Twilight) "Indeed, there is nothing that will ruin it at all."
(Spike To Himself) "You just had to say something."
Indeed he was right because after she said it Discord poofed in and was strangely scared and not calm in the slightest calm.
(Twilight) "Discord what's wrong? What happened?"
(Discord) "Twilight, Twilight, Twilight I um well you see I was practicing my magic, right? And well um- something happened and I promise this wasn't on purpose but I have opened a portal in Manehattan."
This brought Twilight's attention and stated that they needed to figure out if anything even came out of the portal and even worse it could be a threat to Equestria so they had to hope it was not something bad especially Discord who was more nervous than anything and Twilight and Spike didn't know at the moment but he had a very good reason to be.
Everyone stared at the creature that stood before them with ships beginning to stop with it in the way. It stared back looking around at its surroundings before he began. He roared before beginning to walk towards the city and so his attack began.
Once he got on land he struck at nearby buildings and continued to do so before striking multiple buildings with his tail while many screamed and ran away, some being crushed by the many pieces of the buildings that were falling many trapped. He continued to destroy the city reducing it to near rubble and many being sick due to exposure to deadly radiation in the areas that the creature attacked.
Many have suffered and those who were still alright sent an emergency message to Twilight with them wondering if the council of friendship could do anything about it.
After a while, the beast decided to move on from the city and looked forward to advanced walking, the ground impacted by his weight. As he walked forward everyone looked on as they realized the direction he was headed to, he was heading to Ponyville.
Meanwhile, Twilight began to receive messages from Manehattan, and what she read confused her. Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle, We have bad news recently a portal opened up and a creature came through. Yes, a creature came through and worse it was tall supported a large tail dorsal plates running on the back of its back, and had scales all over its body. And the roar, his roar was loud so much so that it shook the very ground beneath us and attacked the city. Oh, and many lives were lost, many due to the weight of the creature and the buildings themselves. Even worse we believe that he is heading straight for Ponyville, so please we need help, please! Sincerely yours, Star Tracker.
Star Tracker? She remembered him he had recently moved to Manehattan. Of course, he figured out a way to send her a message but what was scary was the description, of the creature being tall, coming from the sea and nearly destroying the city causing multiple lives to be lost including loved ones.
(Twilight) "No, no, no, no it can't be a creature and the portal....... DISCORD!!!!"
(Discord) "AHHH WHAT, WHAT, WHAT IS IT! Oh no...... OH NO LET ME SEE THAT MESSAGE!"
Twilight gave him it as he looked at the message reading it through and full of focus on each line passing his eyes, which increased and became even more worried than before when he finished reading he slammed it and began rocking back and forth as sweat came down his head.
(Discord) "Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, no, no, no, no, no, no. So a creature came through huh? Well as you can see I'm a nervous wreck but now I'm lOsInG My MiNd. W-we have to gather the others and get Luster Dawn out of there now!
(Twilight) "Yes, yes I agree, I agree Discord I shall call a meeting between the council and I shall message Luster Dawn. She went off to call the meeting, while Spike went over to Discord still freaking out.
(Spike) "So you opened a portal by mistake and a creature came through."
(Discord) "Yes, yes but it was just so random and it was when I was using my magic I-I don't know what happened and how but I couldn't control my magic for some reason."
Meanwhile, the beast has been walking through the land keeping in a straight line running into a few creatures along the way most of them running in fear. But he ran into a hydra which was nearly his size, and they began to fight. It was an easy fight, Godzilla's scales helped throughout the fight and to finish the fight he decided to bite on their necks causing them to choke on their blood before it finally collapsed. Godzilla continued walking through and admiring the sight. He never thought of this place looking so beautiful it reminded him of home so much so that he decided that he would wipe out all the creatures and have the land to himself and the other wildlife around.
Back with Discord, he was continuing to rock back and forth before suddenly he began to hear something.
(Whisper) Discord.....
(Discord) "H-Huh? Who's there? Show yourself!"
"Why it is your magic!"
(Discord) "W-What my magic? Are you alive?"
"Yes indeed Discord I'm alive and I am the reason why the beast known as Godzilla has crossed over into this world and he shall destroy it, as for me? Well, let's just say...... I-I."
(Discord) "You are silent now! You just stay out of my mind I have to be strong for my friends and nothing shall get in my way of helping my friends not even Godzilla!"
Discord finished as a breath of exhaustion escaped him, recovering he got up off the ground of his house and began to fly to Canterlot after all, it was time for the meeting between him and his friends. He did wonder though why that voice came through his insane rambling. But it didn't matter he kept a level head and he would help out with anything he could, even if he had to die for it.
It was a while later and the girls got the message of Twilight calling up a meeting. They don't know what it is but they had a bad feeling bout it. But why? Everything was peaceful now and it hadn't been a while since they met up because of an emergency. Hopefully, the emergency wasn't too critical, and something dangerous, that was something that worried them the most. As they entered the throne room they saw Twilight, Spike, and Discord in the room Discord was waddling his fingers until noticing his other friends and stopped and focused.
(Twilight) "Girls! I'm glad you all came! I see that you all have gotten and have read my message."
(Rarity) "Yes darling we have gotten it, what is the emergency? Is it some type of friendship emergency perhaps?"
(Twilight) "Well.... no, you see we have something that happened quite badly with Discord."
(Fluttershy) "Why what happened with Discord."
(Discord) "Well, dear Fluttershy I shall answer that question. You see something has recently happened with my chaos magic for some reason my magic consumed me and made me blast a portal into Manehattan and a creature came through and its name which I've learned is called: Godzilla."
The others looked at each other as they processed what they had just heard. A creature from another dimension has come through a portal which chaos magic consumed Discord and caused him to open the portal in the first place. The name Godzilla struck fear in their hearts and they didn't quite know why. What was worse was they didn't know how big it was. Worse, is why and to whom was it sent. Did something happen when the creature emerged? They were about to find out.
(Twilight) "Well this "Godzilla has come on land and nearly destroyed Manehattan but unfortunately the message to me was delayed which resulted in many casualties before he walked off."
There was a pause before Rainbow brought up a good question.
(Rainbow) "So..... do you know where he was heading?"
(Twilight) "Well after he nearly destroyed the city and afterwards he began to head north and well the only thing in that direction of course is........"
The answer hit her hard and everyone else in the room realized this too as they looked at each other with eyes widened. In a nanosecond, she quickly began to write a scroll to her pupil in a panicked state with sweat dripping down her head and sent it out to their new military that she created just in case.
(Twilight) "I'm declaring a state of emergency! "Girls, Discord we got to get to Ponyville as fast as possible. Discord, can you teleport us there?"
(Discord) "Yes."
(Twilight) "Good, because we need to warn everyone down there about Godzilla."
They nodded and Discord focused and snapped away. Meanwhile, back at Ponyville, everything was peaceful until all of a sudden a rumble could be heard across town. They felt the ground shake which was repeating.... over and over. Within the town, many looked around in confusion as they wondered what was going on. Luster Dawn was relaxing at home when she got a letter from her mentor as well as feeling the rumbling. She at first thought it was an earthquake, but there were too many pauses to say it was, so she decided to read the letter.
Dear Luster my student and friend,
I have a state of emergency there is a giant creature heading straight towards Ponyville and you and your friends are in danger. I have called in reinforcements but it may or may not take a while. But we are currently on our way to evacuate everyone. So be ready something is coming and it is destructive and it will most likely not stop until everything is destroyed.
From your Teacher and friend, Twilight Sparkle.
After reading the letter she went into panic mode as she packed everything necessary before quickly heading outside and saw how everyone was still confused as the ground rumbled. At that moment Twilight and the others appeared and just as they appeared Twilight quickly transported everyone onto the hills on the side of the town. That's when they saw the creature in question. A creature giant in size heading towards the town, he roared and continued walking forward and shockingly some of his steps caused dents in the ground due to his weight. He began to bite and dig his arms through the many buildings while the ponies and the others watched on in horror as they watched their homes and businesses destroyed in the process. He continued until something began to launch explosives at the creature causing it to flinch.
It was the military, and they had arrived and had begun to fire multiple with their newest weapons before stopping. The dust began to settle before it was interrupted by Godzilla as he got out of the massive dust cloud. The ponies and creatures alike looked on as the stallions and mares covered the eyes of the young. Before seeing Godzilla's dorsal plates extend out and begin glowing at first it was slow. But then it began to go faster and faster before he reeled his head back and began and energy began to come from his mouth as well as a glow.
Finally, he thrusts forward and blasts out a beam at the town. When it impacted an explosion happened before a much bigger one occurred which began a massive blast across the entire town as well as the surrounding area. The blasts of powerful winds soon reached where the others were but luckily Twilight raised a shield as well as other unicorns. The dust settles once again and reveals the destroyed area, Ponyville was gone, everything was gone and the surrounding area was harmed. As everyone processed what just happened they looked at where the creature stood as he began to look up at the huge mushroom going up in the sky, before he roared a roar which caused many to close their ears.

Before he began to walk forward presumably back to the ocean. Many began to break down crying as parents held their young ones close. Luster was the one who was breaking down the most along with Rarity, her sister as well as Pinkie family as Gummy stared at the destruction with one eye and left Godzilla with the other. Suddenly black rain begins to rain down from the sky as they continue to break down. Meanwhile, Twilight's streams of tears coming out looked at the place where she learned friendship all that time ago. Discord looked on in shock and horror as he saw the destruction as well as the power that this creature possessed. As he looked on he decided that this creature, this MONSTER, needed to be destroyed before they were.
