The Alicorns' Vow

by Rewan Demontay

Their Introduction

By night,
By day,
By shine,
By dark,

We two sisters,
Of ancient
And power
Vow to protect,
Nor neglect
Again, Equestria

For with these forms
And morals unbound
We fly immortal
Together tethered
Our bodies reborn
And ourselves anew

Nightmares forever
Yet saints more than ever
Do what it takes
Destroy or create

No one can
Stop nor plan
Our new reign
Of service to all

Diarchy, once more
Beholden to none
The discord within
And harmony throughout

With love strong
More so
Than in a thousand years
After pain
And endless tears
Our hearts reforged
Sisters at last
Conjoined in union

Magic unleashed
No fear of the beast
We will serve and be served
To species of all
Enemies by vanquished
In cold fire
And hot shadows

None shall stop
Our new strides
Confidence and pride

Live in prosperity
Unbound from propriety
Future with clarity

Us at the helm
None shall under
Or over whelm

We decree
All we see
To be under rule
Subject to fate
As our new kingdom
All shall join

Welcome us
And find pleasantness
Peace and joy
Otherwise,
Be destroyed
With love of intent
And undying magic to bend

We say it again
With our love for each other
We share it with you
Or face,
Breaking days
And moons of nightmares
Good day,
Swell night

We hope our plight
We cause neither
Fight nor flight
But acceptance
It's all we ask

This we vow
As the last alicorns
Both, at last, unbound
For the good
And the equal bad

Our intent is pure
And our hearts just as so
Farewell, for now
We will see you soon

Come to decision
Decide with precision
And we hope
We can all agree

This be our plead
As sisters united
Forever, Equestria mighty
