Thunder and Light now had a few more of the Changeling attributes, Thunder's wings became bug-like and her eyes became a full blue colour, while Light had holes in her hooves and mane and also had fangs.

"How long is this going to take?"

Shift asked Chrysalis.

"I have no idea. I've never timed it before..."

She replied. Light was whispering to a now awake Thunder.

"How are we going to get out of here? I don't want to be one of these hole filled freaks!"

Thunder didn't reply, she was either in her planning an escape or most likely crying

"Fine looks like it's up to me..."

Another 10 minutes passed, Light looked over at Chrysalis who was asleep with Shift next to her. 

"Now's my chance to get out of here."

Light looked around for a a way to escape and noticed her horn discarded on the floor, Light tried to walk over and pick it up but was unable to due to the goo around her hooves.

"Wait a second, Thunder, can't you talk to those weird looking green rectangle thingies?"

"Creepers? Yes I can talk to them, how do you think I got my cutie mark?"

Thunder answered.

"Well see if you can get one to deliver a rescue message to Twilight."

"Ok i'll try..."

Thunder closed her eyes and thought.

"Creepers, go to Ponyville and deliver a message saying that we are trapped in a cave guared by Chrysalis and that Lightning is her daughter to the pony in the big tree."

A small knock was heard on Twilight's door, she opened the door and saw a small creeper standing there.

"Wait those are those weird little things that Thunder taught me about, I wonder what it wants?"

It started making short hissing noises as it tried to talk to her, Twilight hd no idea what it was trying to say so she got the book that Thunder wrote for her that translates the language of the creepers.

"So you are trying to say that Light and Thunder are being held hostage by Lightning who is a Changeling? Pfft yeah right, real funny Thunder!"

The creeper just stared at her, Twilight realised that this wasn't a joke, her friends were really in trouble. The creeper started running and wanted her to follow it, she ran as fast as she could as she knew that she was their only hope...
