She had counted on the fact that experience would carry her through whatever challenge Twilight could think of. Now, as she sits on the edge of a cloud, trying to catch her breath she realises that she was wrong.
Even before she’d had wings, Twilight was better at moderating herself during races, so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that she would suggest something as out of bounds as flying a marathon.
She looks at the alicorn, watching her bask in the moonlight serenely.
“Best two out of three?”
Twilight’s mouth turns up into a smile as she nods.
