Sonata Dusk walked off the bus, wearing an orange shirt and black work pants. She then crossed the street to head toward the restaurant. As she was walking toward the building, she saw that the sigh was being covered by a huge white sheet. Sonata stared at the sheet, wondering what was behind it. She was not paying attention to the tall thin woman and the large short woman that was standing in front of her. As Sonata kept walking, she bummed right into the large woman by accident. "Hey watch it!" The large woman said as she and the tall woman turned to see who walked into her. Both the girls gasped as the saw who it was. "Sonata!?" They both said at the same time.
Sonata's eyes widen as she saw her two friends that she hadn’t seen in a long time. "Oh my gosh, Reeka and Draggle!" She squeed as she went up and hugged them. She then pulled away and noticed that they to had on an orange shirt and black pants just like her. "Wait, you guys work here to?"
Draggle rubbed her head. "Yeah, see Hydia kicked us out." Draggle responded.
"How come?" Sonata asked with a shock in her voice.
"Because we didn't want to be lawyers." Reeka replied.
"But wait, where to you live?" Sonata asked in a concern tone.
"They like, live with me dude." Tree hugger answered Sonata’s question as she came walking behind the blue siren. "I and my friend own a Safe House for women. Its to keep them safe."
"Safe? from what?" Sonata asked looking at Tree Hugger.
"From unradical dude who want to harm them and to make sure no female goes without munchies dude." Tree Hugger said. "I pleaded to Ms. C to give them a chance ya know?"
"Well that's nice." Sonata commented with a smile.
"Yeah, it’s a nice place and the cook, Sugar Bell, makes great muffins." Reeka said licking her lips.
Suddenly the door open and out came the two manager. Ms. Crystalis walked to the rope that was connected to the white sheet and cleared her throat. “Ok my morning crew. Sonata Dusk, Draggle, Reeka, and Tree Hugger. Today is the grand reopening, so let’s do our best and hope this business can be saved got it?” She asked with a stern voice.
Everyone shouted in agreement as Ms. Crystalis pulled the rope and reveled the new sigh. The sign read “Queen Taco” in big bold black print. “Ok lets go team.”
Hours have passed and no costumer in sight. Flufflepuff sent flyers out to everyone, but due to the restaurants bad reputation, nobody showed up. The clock struck 12 and Ms. Crystalis let out a sigh in defeat. “I guess...we are through.” she said looking at the ground. She felt two hands on each of her shoulder. She turned to see it was Flufflepuff on her right and Tree Hugger on her left. Flufflepuff just blinked a few time and Crystalis just smile. “Yeah, but nobody came. We been open since nine and nobody showed up.
“Patience Ms. C, good things will come. I have a pretty narly vibe about today.” Tree Hugger said with a smile.
Sonata came from the back. “Yeah, that was that homeless guy who used the bathroom remember?" The siren mentioned.
Crystalis just sighed. “Hey, look at that?” Reeka said pointing to the window.”
Crystalis looked to see cars and many people walking toward them as if it was a migration. Soon the people opened the doors and soon flooded in. Crystalis was shock to see this many people. Flufflepuff just blinked twice and stuck out her tongue. “I told ya Ms. C, my vibes are never wrong dude.” Tree Hugger commented.
“But, wait, how?” Crystalis was speechless. Suddenly Pinkie Pie popped out from the crowd.
“Hi Ms. Buggy, you might be wondering why all these people are here huh?” Pinkie asked with a smile. “Well, you see, when Sonata told me that you will be reopening, I decided to let EVERYONE in town know. And not only that , but know Sonata Dusk is the greatest cook in the history of ever. So much so, she even beats my baking. But I don’t mind, because she is my friend and together we both are winners and I REALLY, REALLY, REALLLLLY, wanted Sonata’s first day to go so well and to help your business so Sonata can have a job and keep her friends here at the taco place employed.”
“Wow... Thanks Pinkie.” Sonata said with a huge smile.
“Ms. Crystalis was still in a trance at how far Pinkie had gone to help her friend. As she was about to say something a costumer yelled. “Hey, were hungry!” Crystalis snapped back into reality and looked back at her crew. “Ok team, lets get to work!” She ordered.
The first costumer came up to the register. “Welcome to Queen Taco, home of the Queen Taco, may I take your order?” Tree Hugger asked
Sonata was in the back taking care of the orders, while Draggle washed the dishes and Reeka took the food out to the customers. As Sonata cooked, she was zoned out and only focused on taking orders and making the food. Flufflepuff and Ms. Crystalis looked in amazement of the sheer talent and skill the blue girl had. Sonata was taking care of ten orders at once and new what time each one was in her head. Reeka grabbed the finished plates and handed them to the proper costumers. Crystalis looked out into the waiting room and smiled as she heard what they had to say.
“Wow, this is the best cheesey food I ever ate in my LIFE!” Snips complemented.
“Mmm I like cheese.” Snails said with a stupid expression on his face.
“Wow this is the best Enchiladas Verdes I ever ate.” Silver Spoon said, enjoying her dish.
“Gah this place was a dump before, I refuse to eat this.” Diamond Tiara said looking at her food in disgust.
“Fine, more for me then...mmmmm” Silver Spoon said taking Diamond’s refried beans and loving every bite.
“Mmm Iron Will says this deep fried rice is the BEST!” Iron Will commented.
“YEAH!” Bulk Biceps said taking a huge bite of his taco. “THIS IS THE GREATEST FISH TACO EVER!”
Mean while Sunset and all her friends were sitting at a table eating together. “Wow, I never had Mexican Lasagna before.” Sunset said taking another bite of her food. “This is really good.”
“Mm yes these brisket tacos with red cabbage is to DIE for.” Rarity said while having a piece of red cabbage hanging from the corner of her mouth.
“Sonata was always the best cook.” Adagio phrased. “Or at least when it came to Mexican food.”
“Yeah the only thing she can do right.” Aria said as she stuck the burrito in her mouth.
“This taco salad is very nice to.” Fluttershy said with a cute smile.
“Yeah, this here.. Um Mexican case-a-dia sure is good.” Applejack said not knowing how to pronounce the word. “She sure can cook.”
“She sure CAN!” Pinkie commented while stuffing her face with rice. “ *om nom nom*...mmm Sonata is the best and cutest siren cook I knew he-he-he.” She said with a smile and continued eating.
Everyone stared at Pinkie for a moment. Pinkie looked back at each one of the girls. “What? It is good.” She explained.
“Pinkie, I have a question.” Adagio said getting done drinking her mountain dew. “What.. What do you think about Sonata?”
Pinkie looked at Adagio. “Well she is nice, cute, helpful, and loves my jokes.” Pinkie answered. “Like one time I told her this joke like ten times and she kept laughing." Pinkie replied while stuffing her face with beans. " Why you ask?”
“Well, its just.. we wondered if you might love her?” Sunset asked nervously.
“Love?” Pinkie asked with a confused look on her face. “You mean like friend love, or sister love?”
“No sweetie, I mean... Like how me and Adagio love each other.” Sunset said placing her hand on Adagio’s hand.
“She means do you like the idea of eating Sonata’s Ta-MMMPHH!” Adagio covered Aria’s mouth before she could finish.
“We mean romantically.” Adagio explained.
Pinkie blushed and lowered her head. “Um... well I don’t know. I mean she makes my heart flutter, but I don’t know what love is.” she said.
“Pinkie Pie? You never been in love before?” Rarity asked shocked to hear the news.
“No.” Pinkie answered.
'Wow, you got something in common with Sonata. "Aria commented. "She to hasn't been in love, poor idiot."
"Sorry if Sonata hasn't been with every man in New Jersey." Adagio defended. "But Pinkie, I can tell you that Sonata likes you a lot to, but it is up to you and her to finally decide if you really LOVE each other."
"Oh, my Pinkie, I think you and Sonata would be cute..." Fluttershy said. But as she saw Pinkie sink into her seat a little she soon felt bad. "Oh, I'm sorry Pinkie. I didn't mean to put pressure on you. It is totally up to you on who you love."
“I think maybe we ought ta change the subject.” Applejack suggested. “Ya makin the girl sweat bullets.”
“Sorry Pinkie. We didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” Sunset reassured.
