It hasn't been long since Twilight's coronation, and now she and all of Equestria must face their toughest challenge yet. An old enemy has returned more powerful than ever. The three princesses of Canterlot must raise an army to fight this battle. Among the troops is a cowardly stallion who retells his story.

This story is actually based off a dream I had soon after the season 3 finale.

Also, if you don't like the story, then I would appreciate if you explain why. I am more than open to criticism.

Is that a good or bad DAMN?

2303255

I'd go with "good" damn.

2304990 Nope. More of a "He means business" kinda damn . This is pretty good. Keep it up.

Well, then... There are a few errors I'd like to address, but it seems like you have a good flow and you know where the story is going.

WWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flutterrage:

Does that mean you like it?

There were a few points where I noticed the wording was awkward through this story, and the longer italic sections could due with being split into proper paragraphs to make reading a little easier, but all in all these are minor things.

The story was short, but easy to read.

Easy to connect with.

Unlike the endings of many of the fics I've read here, this one made me feel, Mr. Carefreedude. It may be because I'm a proud member of the military myself, but it made me feel nonetheless.

Be proud of that.

Well I'm really glad you liked it.:pinkiehappy:
And thank you for the pointers to improve upon. It means a lot that you took the time to read it.

Funny thing is, the Italicized parts were not originally going to be in there. The diary entry was only going to be in the first chapter to set up the scene. But I kinda liked the idea of two separate stories about the same event being delivered to the reader.

I'm glad I liked it too. :derpytongue2:

And you're welcome, it happens to a rather good one, so I was glad to give my time.

Ironically, it was the italicized parts that I liked the most, so I'm glad you kept them.
