It's Rainbow Dash's ultimate race for the finish as she goes up against Sonic the Hedgehog...

In the aftermath of the Mare-do-well incident Rainbow Dash has dissappeared from Ponyville and only Twilight and the other Elements may have a clue of where she went, but they aren't talking.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash is in for the race of her life when she goes up against the fastest thing alive...Sonic the Hedgehog on the orders of Dr. Eggman/Robotnik.
When worlds are being threaten and when lives are at risk, who do you turn to save the day?
Standing her ground for what may be the final time, Twilight looks around her…. her friends were reunited against a common foe, the vile queen of an invading army. An army so numerous and cleverly hidden that it was impossible to tell friend from foe. This was how they were defeated easily and brought towards their queen. A foul disgusting form of an alicorn all covered in black. With green hair shining through and hole within her legs gave her a horrific appearance that was accompanied by her bug like wings and her crocked horn.
“Sssssso….thissss be the famoussss Elementsssss of Harmony?” she said.
“Yessss…my queen,” one of her bug drones stated, similar in appearance to their queen but a bit smaller in stature.
“But yet I only count five elementssss…..” the Queen stated, “Where’ssss the sssixth?”
“She’s long gone from here Ah reckoned,” stated Applejack.
While Twilight was a bit unnerved at Applejack mentioning their former element friend, she was none the less relieved to know wherever the last element was at least that pony was long gone from here….It’s was sad to see that it was just because of the missing element that started this whole mess in the first place….
Her emotions were hard to read at the moment as different thoughts when through her mind…
Betrayal, trust, friends, enemies…they betrayed me…my own friends tricked me out of my life.
“Are you okay…” Twilight asked slowly.
“What makes it looked like I’m okay,” stated the confused emotional pony who looked like she was about to cry, “I just found out my own friends just tricked me out of my own glory and for what…to teach me a lesson.”
“Rai…” stated Twilight.
“Save it, it’s one thing to teach me a lesson, it’s another thing if you all were to talked to me about this…. but this…. this is cruel,” she stated angry, “I trusted you…. defended you and you go and do this just to teach me a lesson?!? You girls are the worse…” she then took off into the air and flew away.
Twilight and the others started to rush after her to not only explain themselves but also to calm her down.
Little did Twilight and the others knew that they were being followed by a young peagus on a scooter.
Soon Twilight and the others were able to corner their wayward friend along the open fields beyond Ponyville’s border.
“Wait….hold on, a minute,” stated Twilight but her friend wouldn’t listen to her.
They race towards an open field where Twilight decided to use her magic to try to bring their friend back down to the ground. It would be a difficult task to overcome with the fact of how fast their friend was going from the air.
“Stand aside girls, I’m going to try to bring her down,” stated Twilight to her friends as they moved aside.
She started to concentrate on the magic flowing through her body and near the depths of her soul as she focused the power within her horn.
That was when she heard one of her friends say, “Twitchy tail!!! Twitchy tail!!”
Twilight turned around and before she could respond she felt a huge flash of purple light behind her.
She turned around when the screaming started and looked up to see her former friend in pain and screaming as loud as she can.
“Twilight…” cried out one of her friends but the screaming drowned it out as she was preparing a magic string hold to try to pull their friend back. Yet she underestimated the power that was in hold of her friend as it nearly blast back.
Soon the screaming stop and the dust cleared itself. Twilight coughed up a bit of dust to clear her throat and when she looked up she saw the sky was clear and her friend was gone.
“Twi…what the hay just happen?” asked one of her strong willed friends, but she couldn’t answer them as the shock of being blown back was still stirred in her mind.
“What was that power,” Twilight thought to herself.
“Um….um Twilight,” called out the shyest voices amongst her friends. She was as quiet and was barely hearable, but Twilight was able to hear her amongst the silence.
“Yes,” she replied to her friend as she turned around and saw coming towards them was a young peagus on a scooter…a young orange peagus on a scooter…a young orange peagus on a scooter that idolizes the very friend that Twilight wasn’t able to save just now. The little filly had tears of anger in her eyes as she came towards them.
“YOU!!!” she cried… “What did you guys do to her?” “Uh-oh,” stated one of Twilight’s friends.
“I saw you guys in your costumes and I saw that purple light, you guys got rid of her!!!” she complained, “to think I was foolish enough to start looking up to you….”
Tears were coming down the young filly’s cheeks as the accusations continued, “You guys got rid of the only mare that I ever looked up to as a sister… You….you….jerks.”
She went away fast on her scooter with neither Twilight nor any of the others trying to stop her. Her words rang in their minds, just as the disappearance of their friend was as well.
Only one thing that went through Twilight’s Sparkle’s mind at the moment and that was, “This wasn’t the way it was suppose to happen. This wasn’t as it was planned.”
Somewhere deep down inside herself, Twilight knew that this may change things in Ponyville when words gets out. She turned to her friends for some sense of reassurance, but all she got were faces of shame and of guilt. As each pony was thinking of their missing friend, wherever she was…
Little did Twilight and her friend know that their missing friend was alive and well, but when she woke up from her dazed confusion, she was staring at a strange man… “Well, a pleasure to see you awake my dear.”
He stood staring at the creature before him, confused by his own appearance. He knew this would happen as jumping through two dimensions could take a lot out of a person of her weight and size. Yet, what he didn’t count for was the dimensional jump changes her appearance from one form to another. That fact alone was fascinating to see with in own eyes.
It was still an astounding feat that this plan of his work and all it took was one measly Chaos Emerald and a brief look into her world. In fact, it wasn’t by chance that found her world in the first place as he slowly recalled…
It was just after another humiliating defeat from that blasted hedgehog and his miserable allied friends. While recovering from his recent defeat the good doctor started to think…
“There must be some way to defeat that wretched hedgehog in combat. Something that would put that creature in his tracks, but what?”
He spend the next few weeks searching for anything and anyone who was faster than the hedgehog in terms of pure speed and agility.
It was only after a few days when he decided that there was no one on this planet or in this dimension fast enough for the hedgehog, given the hedgehog’s determination. So then the Doctor decided to let his computers to find traces of another world in other dimensions for abnormal speed energies.
It only within a week when the computer picked up disturbing speed signatures from the amounts of wind rations coming from his technological versions of an anemometer.
The energies that were recorded were almost similar to the hedgehog’s sonic boom moves.
With a few calculations and a exact position from his anemometer device, the doctor was able to discover the idealistic world of Equestria.
A simple world if it weren’t for equestrians that inhabited it already. Their true leaders seem to be two monarchs with great power. Such power that would be explored further study in the future. Yet, as of now it wasn’t of great importance as soon as he uncovered the speed disturbance….came from the sky above.
“Truly she was a magnificent sight to behold,” the doctor recalled when discovered the rainbow mane equestrian, the one they called Rainbow Dash.
“Such speed and such attitude. Exactly like the hedgehog down to the foolish little sidekick that accompanies her. Still it would be best to try acquiring this equestrian with a bit of Chaos Emeralds that is…."
With some of his remaining searcher bots on hold, he was able to find the purple Chaos Emerald and all its shining glory before the wretched hedgehog and his filthy friends did.
All it took now were weeks into preparation the device of bringing in this “Rainbow Dash” creature to this world. The doctor was especially fortunate when that very day came and that Rainbow was angry enough to be a bit confused and mislead by the Doctor’s words and the explanation of his world.
He planned his part well for when he brought Rainbow Dash into this dimension and his lab, he would concoct a tale of so that would paint him as the rightful ruler of this land and that miserable hedgehog and his friends as the true pest they are.
That’s what she told the rainbow haired thing…. at least she looked like one of Sonic’s furry things despite her wings attached to her back.
“A slight change or two, to her form,” the doctor thought, “with the proper training and records of the hedgehog’s moves and previous attack feats over the years. She will be fighting ready.”
It was a big risk for the doctor to attempt something of this act, but in order to beat miserable hedgehog, such feats of science should be taken into question and studied to its fullest.
She woke up confused and conflicted. Her memories were a bit fuzzy, but after what the doctor told her she knew she what her purpose was. She learned that this world was under oppression by this speedy creature known as Sonic, and that he and his allies collect what is to be called Chaos Emeralds to change this world into a worse oppression. She was brought her to stop him and his cohorts of evil and collect the emeralds. When the Doctor has all seven Chaos Emeralds, then he would send her home.
It would be a difficult fight for her to overcome, but she was no quitter and she was a quick learner too. After viewing the doctor’s previous fights with Sonic on what he called video feeds. It would be a challenge or two to accomplish any of these moves, but she was confident in her skills that she knew that she could take this guy on and win.
She had to if she wanted to return to her world…her home.

Home, that is where she rather be right now. Home in her cottage with her pet rabbit and the rest of her animal friends.
She rather be at home back in Ponyville instead of being here in Cancerlot facing off a wicked Queen and her evil invading army forces. But then again, that’s the problem when you’re a friend of Twilight Sparkle, the Princesses’ star student and an all around powerful unicorn.
It was Twilight Sparkle that reunited them to take on this threat after…that day. That day they lost…her. It wasn’t hard to recall how all this came to be…
Ever since…that day, life in Ponyville was turn for the worse. For not only, did they lie one of their own to teach her a lesson on bragging, but they also lied the entire town and when the mayor found out about the truth well….
“Because of your foolishness,” shouted the mayor, “Ponyville is down a weather peagus and it would take weeks for us to get a replacement from Cloudsdale. Have you all had anything to say for yourselves?”
“No mayor,” stated Twilight silently speaking for all of them as they all felt shame and guilt coming from the mayor’s anger.
“Is there anything else I need to know about?” the mayor asked Twilight in a frustrated tone.
“There is nothing else to know mayor, for you know what we do and soon will the princesses,” stated Twilight with a calm demeanor.
“I’ll try to reassure the citizens about the disapperance, but let it be known…I am truly disappointed at you girls,” stated the mayor as she left the girls in Twilight’s tree house home.[/hr]
Things got worse when the Princesses found out as she was also disappointed in Twilight and the others action. The actions that made her rethink her role as one of the Elements.
She knew that her former friend was headstrong and a tad egotistical, but that didn’t compared to the many times she stood up for her and her made her feel strong.
She was supposed to be the Element of Kindness, but her recent actions made her rethink her entire role and made her doubt her own kindness towards others ponies.
Ponies who gave them look of disgust and annoyance.
“Look,” some of them would say, “It’s the Mare-Do-Well. Going to save another pony in danger Mare-Do-Well.”
She knew that despite the Mayor’s words, most of the townponies already knew the truth. And it was all thanks to the little orange peagus filly that saw them in the act.
It was because of the young one’s outburst during the Mayor’s speech that no pony trust her and that included the young filly peagus that couldn’t fly.
The young one rode scooter throughout her days she saw her.
The young filly that idolized her former friend and blamed her and the others for her disappearance because of this whole mess that she created.
Now when she needed her friend the most, she wasn’t going to be there because she was gone. Gone to who knows where….[/hr]
Cloudsdale Weather Factory…
“Are you sure you’re ready for this…” ask a weather pony.
“Sure, sure, this is going to be a snap,” stated the voice.
“Well you are replacing a fellow weather pony, a leader for that division in fact, until an unfortunate incident,” stated the weather pony.
“Did they say how she disappeared?” asked the voice.
“None what so ever, but according to the letter from the mayor over there, it said that a few ponies played a cruel joke on the mare that lead to her disapperance,” stated the weather pony in a sad and concern tone.
“Well, no pony going to get through me…after all who knows, if this would grant me a spot on the Wonderbolts…” stated the voice.
“You got a long way to go before you get to that,” stated the Weather Mare, who handled the voice her assigned papers, “Here’s all you need to know of your assignment. Are there any questions Lightning Dust?”
Once again before I begin I would like to say that the characters in this story is not my own, as they are a property of Hasbro, Lauren Fraust, Sega and the Sonic team.
For the past few days all she was doing was running. Running in trying to gain an understanding of her new form. Where she was once a pony with wings she was now a bi-legged being with wings. Yet her speed increased when she came into this new world. The doctor who has taken her In and through him he told her of the creatures of this world and how they were more of a menace than a threat. They hold several gems of power called the Chaos Emeralds and for some strange reason she felt a bit on edge when she heard of the term “Chaos.” However, the doctor tried to explain that he wants to harness the power for god and help the creatures of this world. The doctor promised her that with the power of the Chaos Emeralds he would be able to send her back to her own home world. The doctor must know how to send her back because it was the doctor that summoned her here in the first place using only one of the Chaos Emeralds. If the doctor had all seven of them, then he would be able to send her back home. It was all the hope she had to try to train herself to face off with these creatures in her new body. She wasn't use to flying and maneuvering herself on the ground, but it what kept her alert and ready for anything. All she had to do was be patient and try to keep these creatures off balance for any good chance of prevention of a counterattack. She wanted the advantage and she is going to work hard on getting it.
Speed was what he was known for and it was due to his legendary speed that he was able to cover vast distances in such a short time periods. It was due to his speed that he was hunting down the diabolical doctor. He hasn't shown his mustache self in almost a month or two after their last battle. Even when he learned of the recent surge of Chaos Control energy he knew that the doctor had to be behind it. The doctor truly kept himself hidden this time around to not be found. However, he knew it was only a matter of time before their forces clash again. The hard part of it was the waiting and he hated to wait. So he decided to see if his kid brother figured anything out on the whereabouts of the doc.
HE knew the training was hard for the creature, but he need her beyond her promise of “20% cooler” whatever that term meant. However, he needed her at her best and fastest to keep up with the hedgehog and his allies. He did promised her that he was able to send her home and he meant that promise well as he was going to send her home in order for him to conquer it and its power all to himself. That’s why he had her going around various obstacle courses designed to test her flight and speed and even her newly enhanced strength that this world given her all to test her limits and to see if she could go beyond those. He wouldn't leave anything to chance as he will defeat the hedgehog this time, but only with a little backup help.

This chapter focuses on Interlude as we head back to Pony Ville...
Interlude…Pony-ville (Several days ago)
He was just stepping out of their tree house/library home for just a few minutes to run an errand, but when he returned he suddenly found his best friend and master and their friends were all gone.
Now here he was standing in front of the highest order of the land, telling the twin rulers of what has just transpired…
“So Spike, you tell us that Twilight and her friends just disappeared just like that,” asked one of the rulers in a harsh tone.
“Y…y…yes,” he stated meekly, as the little baby dragon has not attempt to do this feat before without the aid of his master.
“Hmm…” stated the more benevolent and kinder part of the twin rulers.
They were the Princess of the moon and the sun respectively. They are highly regarded as powerful beings throughout the land of Equestria and rulers of all pony kind in Cancerlot, Pony-ville and its neighboring borders.
“Spike, I would like you to show us the spell that Twilight used,” asked the kinder Princess of the Sun.
He was grateful to have brought the cursed book with him. Since it was a bit burnt on some of the pages, then maybe the princesses could figure it out better than he could.
After a few moments of slience, the lighter side of the Princesses spoke in a clear elegant voice, “Because of the damage to the book, it seems that instead of teleporting somewhere within Pony-ville borders, Twilight and her friends have teleported somewhere beyond any reach.”
“What does thou mean, sister?” The dark princess asks her much older sibling.
“It means that Twilight and her friends are on another world…one that even I cannot pinpoint,” the Sun Princesses response sadly.
“Another…world?!? Is magic like that even possible?” asked Spike the baby dragon.
“Yes,” stated the lighter Princess, “I have unique experiences with this type of spell. However, when Twilight used the spell, it combined her magic with the powers of the Element of Harmony to transport them to another world.”
“Can you get them back, sister?” asked the darker Princess.
“No….for the worlds beyond Equestria are vast and wide and even with the combine powers of my sister and I, we cannot pinpoint the location of the Elements,” the lighter Princess stated sadly.
“Princess do you think Twilight…”Spike started to say sadly.
“No, young dragon,” stated the light Princess, “I do believe the Twilight is still alive and breathing. I cannot sense her physically, but her magic is strong and a small trace of it is still amongst this plane.”
“So, that means you can bring her back?” asked Spike.
“No,” states the lighter Princess, “Even though her magic still lingers on this plane…tracing such magic like Twilight would be impossible given the massive worlds that she would have crossed on her journey. We would have to be patience and hope for her and the rest of the Elements would find their way back home.”
“Princess, some of the Elements have families…how could we explain this to them?” asked Spike.
“I believe we could tell them the best way we can…” states the Princess of the Sun,” Most of them know of Twilight’s power, but if we try to explain what happen. There could be confusion and distrust amongst the families and the Elements themselves, when they return. For now…we could say that it was an order of mine until they have fully returned to explain things themselves.”
“You mean….lie?!?” asked Spike.
“While it may seem dishonest at first, some lies are possible comprehend instead of the truth. Believe me, Spike, I do not like it anymore than you do….” The lighter Princess said sadly.
And thus, the lie was made…it was told to the families that upon the orders of Princess Celestia, Twilight and her friends were supposed to be on a quest for a rare material. What the material was; it was stated to be a secret for now… Still, Spike did not like the distrust within the Pony-ville community. With Rarity’s absence, her boutique business temporary closed down and her little sister, Sweetie-belle, is off living with their parents along with Rarity’s cat Opalescent. The same thing happened to the Apple family with the absence of Applejack. Mr. and Mrs. Cake had a tough time with some of the orders and the customers at their local bakery without the aid of Pinkie Pie. Although oddly enough, Pinkie Pie’s little pet alligator, Gummy proved a bit of a safety relief in some ways when it came to entertaining customers. Fluttershy’s animals were, sort of, being taken care of upon the orders of Spike with several of the Palace guards that Princess Celestia sent with him. Twilight’s library/tree house home was temporary closed down, and Spike was able to stay with the Apple family, for a while or two. As long as Spike was able to keep up the work within the family apple farm. As for Rainbow Dash and her job as a weather pony, she wasn’t truly missed by her co-workers that much, given Rainbow’s usual attitude, but she was fast at her work, so that made the job a bit tougher. The only pony that missed Rainbow Dash was Scootaloo, her biggest fan and admirer and she was comforted by her friends within the days ahead. Tank, Rainbow Dash’s pet tortoise was cared for by Scootaloo, with the assistance of Spike and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Still life in Pony-ville went on like was, as the days turned to weeks and so one. Each night before bed, Spike would look upon the sky to see the stars coming out and wish for the safety and return of his friends.
The moment you been waiting for: Rainbow Dash vs Sonic the Hedgehog
Finally it is the fight you been waiting for...SONIC VS RAINBOW DASH!!!
For those of you with weak hearts, you may not want to read this chapter, for the intense speeds of these two characters, which I do not own and they are a property of Hasbro, Lauren Faust, the Sonic Team and Sega, will be too much for one person to handle.
Seriously I am kind of proud of this chapter and I truly do hope you enjoy it....
While everyone else was searching for the chaos emeralds, she was off in a flash searching for her prey. When the good doctor told her everything he knew about this “Sonic” character and how much of a bully he was to the good doctor’s plans, she knew she had to straighten him out. Then she’ll search for these chaos emeralds.
The doctor told her every little bit about the creature and how much of a menace he was to the good Doctor, and that just infuriated her more. She never liked bullies, even if she herself is one at times, thus making it her one of her life goals to always defend the helpless and the needy.
Soon she spotted it from high above the clouds… just a brief glance before it sped away, the sight of a blue blur. She knew she had her target in her sights now. So she decided to try to see just HOW fast he truly was, by pushing herself in full force towards him.
Meanwhile, Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, was speeding down the pathways in searching for his next adventure, when he felt it coming …the burst of speed coming down his way. He felt it by the tip of quills to the sound of the air closing in by his ears. He knew he had to sidestep away in hopes for it not to crash into him. However, as soon as he did that he saw a blur of it coming by. There was something different about this blur, and he noticed it right off the back that this blur held a colors of the rainbow. He soon slowed down and looked ahead as his pursuer was rushing back towards him and stared him down, face to face. Within the depths of his mind he knew that things just got a bit interesting right now.
“Sonic the Hedgehog, I presume,” she stated with a tone of annoyance.
“Yeah, who wants to know?” he asked.
“I do,” she stated, maintaining her annoyance, “I heard that you were fast. I heard that you were the fastest thing in this world. Well guess what, so am I.”
She proved it to him by flying at top speed creating her usual rainbow streak behind her. She stopped at a clear distance to try to rush back to her prey.
Sonic saw her coming and once again side-stepped away to avoid a collision with her.
“Whoa, it’s like you’re trying to run me over,” stated Sonic.
“That was the plan actually,” she stated while stopping to try to gain another try to run him over.
Sonic then knew that this person was trying to hurt him. So now he had to defend himself. Speed was the key he needed so he rushed off towards his attacker.
Rainbow Dash then saw Sonic running towards her from a clear distance and decided to fight back as well. So she rushed ahead.
The two forces of speed coming at opposite ends, similar to the north and south poles of the world.
No one could truly describe what happen that day. Some say that the earth shook with a force so powerful enough to cause a shockwave; others say that they saw the light of a rainbow halfway across the world. Whatever happens that day, it was a clash worthy of beings of speed.
Time stood still to these two, no one saw them either coming or going, it was just speed at its finest.
Loop-de-loops, springs, they were going through the works of things. Nothing was left untouched. As it was clash after clash between these two. No matter how much Sonic tried to out maneuver her, Rainbow Dash was just as better at this than he was.
Only one person could expect such a feat and he was far away to see it for himself...
“Ha, ha,” cried the voice of Dr. Ivo Robotnik who was laughing with glee as he was viewing the race, via the bracelet from Rainbow Dash’s foot, within his eggmobile, “Finally, I have found someone that can truly give that Hedgehog a run for his money. Now nothing can stop me from achieving my goal of conquering not only this world, but the other world that these ponies are from, and after that who knows, I might even run for president. Ho, ho, ho. Still I wonder what’s keeping that Applesauce so long…”
The evil doctor was currently trying his best to carry off a gigantic green emerald of power within his Eggmobile and away from its proper pastel.
While the Doctor was doing that, Applejack Pony was in her little pickle of trouble, with evading the anger fists of Knuckles the Echidna.
It was not one of his normal missions to observe and not interfere with the others, but it was his job and he was one to do his job well…
Several weeks after the recent battle appearance of Dr. Eggman, his superiors quickly received word of the weird energy signatures caused by some form of Chaos control. At first they were just a few blips on the radar that disappeared after a while, but it was only until recently that these blips appear again. With Rogue currently out on retreat, only he and Omega were the ones they send out to search for the source of these signatures. However, but should they meet up with her they were allowed to brief her in the situation immediately.
So they split up with a majority of these creatures in the forest, but one of them was a bit fast and was out of reach. He decided to take that up personally, and meet up with Omega later. It was a bit fortunate that their superiors were able to obtain a chaos emerald, the red one, early on as it would make travel through chaos control much easier.
When they teleported to the forest the first time, they tried to make contact with Rouge, only for her to briefly get bits and pieces of it since the signal was a bit messed up. Omega volunteered itself into finding her since he got a much clearly fix on her location, while Shadow tries to find more of these energy spikes on their wrist bracelets.
It was only after five or so minutes, when he first felt that burst of speed. It was not any ordinary burst of wind. He knew Sonic was around here somehow, but where was the question. That was when his wrist bracelet flared with frequents beeps. It seems that there was some unknown source of speed flying off against the familiar speed of Sonic.
Taking notice of this, he decided to investigate after seeing that it was going a bit faster than even the blue hedgehog to keep up with it. Yet, that made the challenge more interesting. Using Chaos control, he teleported his way to Sonic’s location and when he got there he saw the destruction.
It felt as if two different, but very unique speeds were going at it and destroying nearly everything in sight.
If Sonic is involved in this then this could be a bit serious than they thought…
This leads to where he was now…trailing the two speedsters behind and noticing the destruction that they have left in their wake.
“Whoever did this is going to pay,” he thought to himself as he notice the fallen trees and nearly scared animals in the area.
He rushed off in pure speed, barely breaking a sweat. It was just a little run to see who was faster and who to stop first, the one in the air or the one on the ground?
They were running….running without a care in the world. Running the only way they knew how. Their clashes were quick and frequent, causing destruction in its wake, but they did not care. However, they were soon becoming tired down and near exhaustion, but their unique determination to win only kept them fighting on.
They were truly unaware of their surroundings as their only thoughts were one beating the other. They did not even notice the soon speeding path of the black hedgehog with red strip on his head.
“This charade ends now,” he said, “You both have caused a lot of destruction today. Or have you two notice anything at all?”
For the first time since they fought, they soon started to see the destruction around them. Impacts on the ground, flowers wilted away, trees fallen and animals scattering away from the carnage.
With a deep breath the blue one, known only to all as Sonic the Hedgehog, took a deep breath, sighed, and said, “You’re right Shadow, this has gone long enough. I guess we got carried away.” With a low chuckle he continued on placing his hand in front of him, “May I suggest a truce between the two of us?”
The light blue creature stared at the unique gesture. Surely this was a trick, and it was at that moment that she saw it. Within the black hedgehog’s hand was one of the chaos emeralds, a red one to be exact. Now she knew this could be a trick and that this new creature was a friend of the blue menace. Now all she had to do was to try to get it away from the two hedgehogs.
“Sure…” she responded and just at that moment she used what remaining energy she had left within her and kicked Sonic into the other hedgehog body, thereby having him drop the chaos emerald in his hand. With burst of speed she was able to created a miniature dust tornado and grab the emerald before anyone saw her.
With a brief look back at her foes, she decided to flee after getting her objective, besides something tells her that she will be meeting up with Sonic soon.
After the dust cleared the two hedgehogs were stunned at the recent actions.
“Well that could have gone better,” stated Sonic.
“We underestimate her, and with that she was able to steal the chaos emerald that was in the government possession,” said Shadow.
“Five to one, Eggman is behind all this,” stated Sonic.
“Agree, round up your friends if you must, while I gather my team and see to it that Eggman will pay,” said Shadow.
Now Sonic was a bit worried knowing that this new thing has just gotten on the bad side of Shadow the Hedgehog.
“Eggman, whatever you are planning I am going to stop you,” he thought to himself as he rushed off to look for Tails at his work shop.
"And then I flew back here, according to this here doo-hicky," stated Rainbow Dash.
"Wow," they all said.
"That was nothing, wait until you hear my story," said Twilight.
Still, overseeing his new allies from his main lab, he recalls the rainbow one's tale against that prestering blue Hedgehog. However, all of them were still unaware of overall plan as his robots were assisting him in working overtime with the machine that took weeks to build, with the assistance of his new allies. The Machine would make all of his own dreams come true. They were truly unaware of...the Endgame....
Okay this Chapter sort of speeds the story up a bit, so I do apologize if readers get lost along the way. Also these are not my products as they're a property of Hasbro, Lauren Faust,Sonic team and Sega...
When he first felt the burst of wind coming in through his laboratory window, his wind machines outside went a bit haywire as they were twirling like crazy. He then assumed that his could be the work of that his good friend and great big brother. While at first, he knew that his big brother could take care of himself, it did not help him out that he worried for his friend own safety. He was currently unaware of the full situation just as he was also unaware of the dangers that surround him at this very moment…yet he still worries. While the wind wasn’t all that dangerous at the time, it still felt that something bad was about to happen to them all.
Soon out of nowhere, he felt it upon his own two tails, as something light was soon wrapping itself around him. He quickly jumped out of the way and tried to look around for anything suspicious. The only thing he seems to have notice the small vines that surrounded his laboratory on the floor, not moving at all.
Now curious he decided to follow the vines outside and towards a steaming pile of them ahead. Once he was able the gather the pile up, he soon felt the rope tightening and then saw most of it wrapping him up.
“Well, well that was a lot easier than I thought,” stated a voice to the two tail fox. Soon he notice an unknown face, it looked like a horse, one that had a horn on its head.
“Dr. Robotnik said you were smart, but I did not think you were a bit foolish enough to fall for such a simple trick,” the thing stated.
“Eggman is behind this,” he thought, “Then that means….Sonic is in danger.”
Far away from them Cream and Cheese were coming upon Tails workshop, unaware of what was happening over there
Sonic the hedgehog sped off to the direction of the forest that surrounded the workshop of his best friend and little brother, Miles Prowler, better known to his friends as Tails. When he first reached his workshop and notices him not being there and the place was nearly a wreck, Sonic then runs into the forest terrain in hopes of finding his best friend in time.
Worried a bit out of his mind that his best buddy might be in trouble, Sonic rushes off to the rescue.
Meanwhile... in another part of the forest, a young rabbit and her little companion was walking along the wooded trail until the heard a small noise that cried for help.
“Did you hear that Cheese?” the young rabbit said with her little companion nodding in agreement. The two of them sped off to the sound of the direction.
Soon they came upon a tangled of vines everywhere and in the center of the vines lies what they assumed was their friend, Tails.
Tails was mumbling to be let loose and Cream and Cheese tried their very best to get him out. Soon they felt a breeze of wind and suddenly in a blink of an eye Tails is freed and is standing next to… “Mr. Sonic,” cried Cream.
“Hey there you two,” stated Sonic, “Lucky for you guys, I was just in the neighborhood.”
“Yeah, thanks Sonic,” stated Tails.
“My question is how you get caught in something like this in the first place?” asked Sonic.
“You never guess what I saw Sonic,” started Tails who went on to explain his encounter with the pony with power.
“Whoa, that is sort of like the encounter I had only this one flies and had rainbows following her. She was almost as fast as me,” stated Sonic.
“Cheese and I saw one too and this one was yellow,” stated Cream with Cheese nodding in agreement. Noticing the concern look on Sonic face, Tail comments, “You think Dr. Eggman is behind all this, do you Sonic?”
“What other reason is there, I mean they can’t all be a coincidence that we all were attack by these…things, Right? “ stated Sonic.
“Well, when you put it that way…” stated Tails, “Yet how do we know if these things are dangerous , I mean they could just be scared and alone?”
“The one we met, was a bit frighten by our appearance, right Cheese?” commented Cream
“Chao, chao,” stated the young chao.
“You may be right, and with Eggman involved in this it could make things a bit more difficult,” called Sonic as he reflected back to his battle with the flying invader.
“Either way, if Eggman is in on this, then we both know that the chaos emeralds will be a factor in this one too. Given that my attacker just ruined my own Chao emerald tracker,” commented Tails sadly.
“Well that just makes the adventure more fun,” comment Sonic, “Come on Tails, there’s no times to waste.”
Soon Sonic quickly speed off in to the face of adventure. Tails following along, stops and calls for Cream, “Cream, you’re welcome to join us if you like. I’m sure we can be able to take you home…”
“No thank you Tails,” she stated poilitely, “I’m going to see if I can find Amy, I’m sure she wants a piece of the action as well. We will try to catch up with you guys later.”
The two flyers sped up to catch their speedy friend unaware of what is happening to their other friends.
Amy Rose could not believe her bad luck. She was running with Cream and Cheese trying to catch up with Sonic and Tails. As they were running along the forest, Amy relates to Cream of how she encountered a pink thing who bounces as she walks and she had a blue chaos emerald. She tried to stop the creature, even using her piko-piko hammer, but the creature somehow survives it all and Amy ended up look like a crazy fool, more so than usual. The pink thing ended up disappearing from Amy’s sight as she was just getting her second wind. That was when she met up with Cream and Cheese, who told her that Sonic needed her help…again, and explained the situation to her as they ran towards Tails workshop.
When Sonic and Tails heard the story, they figure it was Dr. Eggman who was behind all of this. SO the four of them rushed from Tails’ workshop to find Eggman’s new hideout, and along the way they encountered Knuckles, who grumbled about fighting another one of those things, while Eggman stole the Master Emerald. That meant BIG TROUBLE if Eggman now had the powers of the Master emerald in his hands.
The friends soon rushed up and ran into “Team Dark” as they were called; consist of Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat and Omega the robot. They were also looking for Dr. Eggman as well. However, they too were having trouble finding him.
“IF only we had a lucky break,” Amy thought, and then if by magic one of Eggman’s robots appears from afar. Amy told Sonic and the others what she saw and they soon began to follow the robot deeper into the forest and towards the outside enterance of Eggman’s new hideaway.
“This could be a trap,” stated Shadow the Hedgehog.
“No duh,” thought Amy, as this was too easy for Dr. Eggman to pull. They all had to be on their guard.
Once they entered the door shut upon them and they were standing within an army of Eggman drones and robots.
“Oh yeah now this is an welcoming,” stated Sonic as he and the others were battle ready.
Meanwhile in the other section of the lair, the six pony friends were relax and telling each other tales of their unique encounters with the creatures of this world when suddenly.
WHEE-WHEE
The red alarm goes off and soon Dr. Robotnik cried out from afar, “HELP SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THESE CREATURES…”
The six ponies rushed off into the unknown to save their only chance of getting home…
