After the events of the last year, Twilight and her friends have spent the summer looking for the rest of the crystals. They also visited each other and kept in touch whole summer. Time has come for a new year to begin.
As always everyone gathered in the Great Hall for Dumbledore's welcoming speech.
"Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting year at Hogwarts!" he started. "I hope you all got enough rest and are ready for the studies ahead of you. I have worked really hard to not repeat my past mistakes and to make Hogwarts safe for every student, after all your only concerns should be classes and exams. Now let's get straight to sorting freshmans to houses."
Fluttershy sighed. "My brother is freshman this year."
Rainbow Dash turned around to Hufflepuff's table. "Wait what?" she groaned annoyed. "Not Zephyr! I can't stand the guy!"
"Rainbow Dash! I know he can be annoying, sometimes a lot, but he is my brother!"
"I know, I know. I just forgot he will be coming this year. Can't a guy take the hint that I am not interested in him?"
"He can be very... uhmm..."
"Annoying" Rainbow said as she turned back around.
"What was that all about?" Twilight was surprised.
"Fluttershy's brother has a crush on me and can't take the hint that I'm a lesbian and not interested!"
"Have you ever told him you're a lesbian?"
"No. But I told him I am not interested millions of times!"
"Yikes! Can't he just drop it and be your friend?"
"I know right! I have said no, he can be my friend but he needs to stop trying to force me to be with him!"
"Oh look who we have here" Trixie cut in. "The annoying girl and one that was soaked in rainbow as a child."
"Very funny Trixie... so original" Rainbow eyerolled.
"I have just overheard what you two losers were talking about and that guy seems really annoying. Honestly, he started to bother me the moment I saw him in the hallway."
"Looks like we actually agree on something for once!" Rainbow said.
"Anyway, how was summer? Are you still with that JackJack cowboy girl?"
"Her name is Applejack and if you ever try to make fun of her again Ill punch you so hard you'll be thrown back to that forest you came out of!"
"Jeez! Okay sorry. I was just trying to find stuff out."
"Zephyr Breeze!" He was called out to sit and Sorting Hat was placed on his head.
"Please don't be a Slytherin" Rainbow whispered. "Please don't be a Slytherin, please---"
"SLYTHERIN!"
"NO!" she said a bit too loud, few people turned around.
Zephyr happily came to them. "Hello Rainbows! Looks like we will see each other a lot more often from now on."
"Great!" she said annyoed while eyerolling.

Later the girls have met in the Courtyard.
"I feel like this school year is going to be amazing!" Twilight was excited.
"Agreed! We will find those crystals, I'm sure of it!" Sunset agreed.
"And we have each other so there is no preassure or anxiety from first year to find friends" Fluttershy added.
"Yeah but need I remind you we found nothing about crystals over summer?" Rarity cut in.
"Oh relaaax!" Pinkie answered. "We are at Hogwarts, I am sure there will be some clues in here."
"If you say so."
"Okay, enough about the crystals" Rainbow had enough. "I am excited about more Quidditch! This year we are going to beat those fucking Griffindors!"
Applejack raised an eyebrow.
"Heh, no offense babe."
"Don't worry" she laughed. "I would like to see you win. I didn't tell you but I have decided to join Griffindor team this year!"
"Really? That's awesome! You are going to be a tought competition!"
"And will beat you in your own game."
"We will see about that!" She happily said. She was excited for her girlfriend to join the team too.
"Hey did anybody see Discord?" Twilight noticed.
"Yeah, him and Mel went to their common rooms." Fluttershy said.
"That's cool, they need to join our adventures too!"
"Oh definitely! They are very excited about it too!"
"The thing I'm excited about is making new designs in my free time" Rarity happily said. "Oh! I could even make some for our missions!"
"I don't think our missions will need some fancy clothes. We need to focus on missions, playing dress up is just a waste of time." Applejack said.
"It is NOT!" Rarity got offended.
"Can you two please not fight over that?" Twilight asked. "Rarity I think that's a wonderful idea. If you want to do it, go for it."
"Oh do we really have to have Potions for our first class tomorrow?" Fluttershy said. "I'm scared of Snape."
"I am sure it will be fine, sugarcube" Applejack tried to reassure her. "Besides you will have that class with Discord right?"
"Yeah."
"So you won't be alone. It will be okay."
"Ughhh" Rainbow cut it. "Snape is SO ANNOYING!"
"I would watch what I speak Ms Dash" Snape said standing behind Rainbow who turned around in regret. "5 points from Slytherin, unfortunately."
"What?! But this is out free time, I just commented--"
"No further discussion!" he said as he left.
"Ughhh!" Rainbow was frustrated.
"Hey, you okay?" Applejack asked to check.
"Yeah, just can't believe he heard me. But don't worry, I am fine."
"Alright" she replied as she gave Rainbow a quick hug.
The girls continued to talk until the night came. Tomorrow was their first day of classes.

At night Twilight decided to go take a walk around the castle. She should have stayed in her room but she just felt like something was calling her, like she had to take that walk.
She wondered the castle until she reached an empty hallway. Moonlight was peaking through the windows, casting its' light on the floor. On the floor was some sort of crystal. It was as black as night.
Twilight felt so drawn to it, she just had to touch it. And as she did, she felt her being consumed by darkness.
In the morning I came to Flying class which I had with Sunset and Pinkie. Ugh, flying classes are always so lame. They should let us do dangerous tricks already, what do I have for practicing the same safe thing for a year. If they don't let us do something cool today I'll make sure we manage to still have fun.
I entered the class and Sunset greeted me. "Hey Twilight!"
"Yo!" I replied throwing peace sign at her and not really looking at her. I was going to get my broom, she should deal with it.
"Okaay. Someone is in the mood to learn today"
"I guess. I hope we will get to finally do some cool dengerous tricks today!"
"Dangerous tricks? But you were terrified of those last year."
"Oh well what's life in Hogwarts if someone doesn't need medical help here and there."
"You are acting strange today, are you okay?"
"Never better." whole conversation I didn't show much emotion or interest but I was telling the truth, I have never felt so good, so... poweful.
Teacher came we started and did lame few excersizes so I decided to take everything in my hands. I pulled out a wand and made Pinkie's broom go super fast.
Unfortunately, she is so unexperiemced that she wasn't able to control it. Ughh! I thought at least she will know how to have fun!
Anyway she ended up needing medical help. Later Sunset came to me.
"What was that Twilight? What is your problem?" she was angry.
"I don't understand what do you mean? I just wanted us to have a bit of fun!" I defended myself. I just made her broom faster what's the big deal??
"You could have seriously hurt her!"
"But she's fine! Jeez Sunset, learn how to relax a little!"
"RELAX? I don't know what has gotten into you today but whatever is bothering you we can talk about it and solve it, just don't put anyone else in danger just because you are frustrated or angry about something!"
"I am fine! And this conversation is draining me. Goodbye!" I left.
She seemed to be in aboslute shock but whatever. I won't have some Sunset Shimmer telling me what I can or can't do. I just tried to make things fun, it was an accident.

Applejack's POV
I joined the Griffindor Quidditch team and we were having practice with Slytherin's team.
Rainbow and me kept on competing and taking ball from each other. It was very intense but at the end we ended up tied.
"Wow that was a good game!" Rainbow said. "Looks like Griffindor team finally has a chance to actually win. I am so proud of you!"
"Aw, thanks!" I blushed. "You were pretty great too, the actual game is going to be so interesting!"
"I agree! Let's go get lunch now, I don't know about you but I am straving!"
"Me too!" I said as we started walking towards the castle.

Rarity's POV
"No. No... NO!" I was talking out loud with myself. I had first period in the morning free so I decided to wake up earlier to try to figure out any new information about the crystals.
Suddenly Trixie came in. "Well look who do we have here."
I eyerolled. "Hi Trixie. If you don't mind I am very busy right now."
"Oh come on! Doing homework already? You were never the one to do homework so early."
"Why are you here?" I got annoyed. Why is she bothering me?
"I heard you and your boyfriend broke up over summer" she was amused. Oh great, I am not having that conversation with her.
"It's none of your business but if it's so important of you to know then yes, we did break up."
"Why?" she was still very amused. What does she mean why?? It's none of her business!
"Why do you care so much?"
"I heard a rumor you have a crush on Applejack so you broke up with him."
Oh great! Wait who did she hear that rumor from? The only person I told was Pinkie Pie! I am SO MAD at her right now! But I just need to get Trixie away from it. "Don't be ridiculous!"
"I have seen you two together, you seem to like her."
"As a friend. She is my best friend, now can you please let me study!"
"Alright, alright" she FINALLY started to leave, "but how will you get Rainbow out of the picture?"
"I WILL NOT---"
"If you want to I can help?" Oh so that's why she came. She really has so much against Rainbow, it makes me wonder about their past. I really need to ask her.
"No. I will not mess with their relationship and you too better stay out of it and just let them be happy!"
"If you say so" she exited and didn't seem to believe me much. Who does she think I am?? I wouldn't ruin my best friends' relationship just because I developed a crush on one!
Anyway my free hour went by fast and I didn't find anything new. I heard Pinkie ended up at Madam Pomfrey's so I went to visit her.

3rd Person's POV
Applejack, Rainbow and Sunset were eating lunch.
"There is NO WAY Twilight did all of that!" Applejack was in shock as well as Rainbow Dash. They couldn't believe it.
"She definitely did!" Sunset replied. "I don't know what has gotten into her today."
"Have you tried talking with her?" Rainbow asked.
"Yes! But sjhe doesn't want to tell me anything." Sunset was a bit sad about it, she wanted to help her girlfriend.
"If she isn't ready to talk about it we shouldn't force her" Applejack said. "I know." Sunset replied. "But I want her to know I am here for her and if she needs a talk I will be there to listen."
"Oh, I am sure she knows that!" Rainbow said.
"You think so?"
"I know so! You always remind her of that, she knows. She just probably isn't ready to talk about whatever is bothering her yet."
"You're right, you're right. I guess we will now just wait. But she better not repeat what she did to Pinkie!"
The girls continued to eat.

Fluttershy's POV
I was walking towards The Great Hall with Discord and Mell. We were having fun when we passed by Twilight.
"Oh hi Twilight!" I greeted her. "Do you want to go eat lunch with us?"
"As if! I really don't need to eat lunch with a couple who won't stop talking about each other and adventures they had before they met us and the girl so desperately crushing on Discord but never having the chance to be with him."
"I'm not--" I tried to tell her but she already left. What was that all about?
"Is Twilight okay?" I asked.
"Don't know" Discord shrugged concerned.
"What was that even about?" Mel asked.
"Yeah, we almost never talk about our adventures before we met you" Discord agreed.
"You really should talk about those more. Also I don't have a crush on Discord" I was so confused, what even made her think that? We are just really good friends that doesn't instantly mean one is crushing on the other.
We proceeded to go get lunch. I really hope Twilight is okay, this was so weird.
Next few days went by fast. Twilight seemed weird, bit distant. But she was also... mean? She was acting very rude towards everyone, even towards me. She has no right to make us others feel bad just because she is in a bad mood. I will talk with her if she continues to do so!
I decided to rest after my classes on friday. Rarity said she found something on the crystals so we will have a secret meeting later. Until then I plan to relax as much as I can, this has been a hard week.

Applejack's POV
"So what was the thing you found?" I was too curious not to ask.
"You will find out later when I tell the others too" Rarity replied.
"Fineee!"
Trixie passed us by and told something to Rarity. "Think about my idea, you could have it all!"
I was so confused. "What was that about?"
She sighed. "Nothing. Just Trixie and her stupid plans to ruin our day."
"Oh, alright. We really can't have a break around here."
"Yeah...."
I really wonder what kind of plan? And why did she want Rarity involved? She probably wanted a person from inside. I guess I will ask her more some day about it.

Rainbow's POV
"Hey there Rainbows!" Zephyr said as I stopped and groaned. Does he really have to bother me right now? I was running!
"No!" I said.
"But you didn't even hear what I wanted to ask."
"Ughh fine what?"
"I heard there will be comets tonight so I was wondering if you would maybe want to go ona date with me to watch them near the lake?"
"No thanks. I am already going with Applejack."
"With Applejack? Why with her?"
"Because if you didn't notice already she is my girlfriend and I am a lesbian!" I said more angry and frustrated than I intended to but he never leaves me alone. He should have gotten the hint already!
"Oh wait WHAT?" he was shocked to say the least.
Which is strange, with Applejack and me kissing all around all the time I wonder how he didn't notice.
"Wait" he said, "ohhh, okay that makes so much sense! I'm sorry I didn't know. Otherwise I wouldn't bother you."
"But you see that's the thing. You should have stopped bothering me about going on a date when I told you the first time no. No matter the sexuality or relationship status, if a person tells you no you can't keep on pushing and forcing them to say yes. You have been doing it for 5 years now and honestly, it's really disgusting and creepy!" I walked away angrily.
I finally told him this and I am so proud of myself. I think I will go retell Applejack what happened.

Fluttershy's POV
I was going back to my dorm when suddenly someone pulled me in nearby room. It was Mel.
"Oh hi Mel!"
"Don't you hi to me!"
I was confused, why was she acting like this? "Is there something wrong?"
"Oh come on! Stop playing so innocent! I know you want Discord all for yourself and are just playing the nicest person ever while in the reality you're just trying to ruin our relationship and get him to like you!"
I couldn't believe she was accussing me of this! Where did she get that from? I don't even like Discord, we are just friends. "What do you mean? He is just one of my best friends so we hang out!"
"Yeah right! Soon you will start talking bad stuff about me and make us break up!"
"I don't know why do you think that but I wouldn't do such thing. Besides as I've already said, we are just friends!"
"Ugh whatever, I want you to stay away from Discord from now on"
"I won't ignore and avoid MY BEST FRIEND just because his girlfriend is insecure and thinks he would leave her!" I can't believe I've said that... but she got me very angry.
"Oh so you do have a crush on him?"
"No? I just want to hang out with my best friend, leave me alone!"
"Well fine, have it your way, but you'll see you can't take him away from me."
"That's VERY toxic. You can't demand his best friend to get away from him just because you feel insecure! That's not how relationships should be, you need to trust him!"
"What are you gonna do about it? Tell him? I'll make sure he knows you will start to lie and make up stuff about me."
"I have to warn my best friend about this."
"We shall see who will he trust more."
"We shall."
No matter what she tells about me, I need to warn Discord. I have to at least try. I hope he will trust me over her.

Twilight's POV
I went to apologize to Pinkie or whatever. I am not sorry but Sunset made me do it so I'll pretend to be nice or whatever.
"Hey Pinkie, may I talk to you for a second?" I tried to say in my nicest voice.
"Oh sure Twilight, what's up?"
"I am sorry for putting a spell on your broom."
"Oh no worries! You just wanted to try it out. It's all forgiven!" she said happily.
"Really?" I was shocked. She forgave me so fast. I now feel bad for not apologizing sooner, I really am sorry for doing that. Lately I have not been feeling like myself, ever since I took that rock--- no. No, I am not sorry for what I did. I don't know why I even apologized.
"Yes, of course! All is good!" she huged me. I am so glad we are still good--- or like whatever, not that I care.
My thoughts feel so heavy and confusing.

Rarity's POV
Later everyone gathered for a meeting. I was ready to tell them what I learnt.
So I began, "I went to restricted section and took a book where I found more about the crystals. It says here that the second one, representing generosity is hidden in Hogwarts in the tunnels between the walls."
"I didn't know there were tunels between the walls" Rainbow was impressed.
"It seems like there is a lot that you don't know about" Twilight was annoyed. She has been acting so strange this year. Rainbow eyerolled.
And Sunset called her out, "Twilight!"
"What? She never knows anything school related!"
"School knowledge isn't the only type of knowledge!" Applejack defended her.
"Oh you are to speak!" Twilight laughed.
"QUIET!" I yelled. "I am talking. Twilight stop insulting everyone!"
"Whatever."
"As I was speaking, it is located in tunels between walls but only way to access the tunels is if we get the key to open them and make the painting let us open it."
"So we need an actor!" Pinkie said happily. "Leave that to me girls!"
"Great!" I was happy that we were progressing. "Now we just need to break into Snape's room to get the key...."
The girls decided to go sneak into Snape's room to steal the key during Sunday evening when he was out. A dangerous mission indeed.
Rainbow and Pinkie Pie are following Snape, Fluttershy is in front of the door while the rest of them search.
"Nothing!" Rarity was gettong frustrated. "We have been searching for 10 minutes we don't have that much time."
"Maybe we would find it sooner if Twilight actually helped us!" Sunset was angry at Twilight just casually looking at photo's in Snape's room.
"Ughhhhh, fineee! You want my help?" she groaned. And suddenly started to exit the room and yell out loud, "we are here! Broke in Snape's room and are search----"
Sunset suddenly grabbed her and put hand over her mouth. "What are you doing?!" she was furious.
"This was so boring, why not add a little drama?"
Sunset was out of word. That didn't even make sense. Why would she reveal them just so she can have fun and drama?
"Found it!" Applejack yelled. Everyone turned to her.
"Perfect!" Rarity said. "Now let's go!"
They all left in a hurry.
------
They met in room of requirments.
"Oh I really hope no one heard it" Fluttershy was worried.
"What's wrong with you?" Sunset was angry.
"What? It didn't hurt anyone" Twilight wasn't interested.
"But it could have! You have been acting so weird this week, you better stop what you are doing right now!" Sunset yelled and left angrily.
"I don't care!" she said but Sunset already left. "Okay bye" Twilight left too.
"What has just happened?" Applejack was shocked just like everyone else.
"Twilight being a j*rk ever since the school year started" Rainbow replied.
"Oh come, it has just been a week" Pinkie said.
"A week where she landed you at Madam Pomfrey's, kidnapped Fluttershy's cat, became besties with Trixie and almost got us caught!" Rarity said angrily.
"My poor cat" Fluttershy remembered. "Glad I got it back."
"Yes, because Sunset argued with Twilight and talked a bit sense into her!" Rainbow reminded her.
"Isn't it awfully supicious she would become rude just like that?" Applejack pointed out.
"Yes, it doesn't sound like her" Rarity agreed.
"We are in magical school, anything could have happened" Rainbow said.
"Exactly!" Applejack agreed. "Maybe she drank some potion or someone cursed her?"
"Hmm, could be" Rarity was thinking. "I think I have an idea about what it may be but I need to do a little more research on it. Applejack want to join me tomorrow in library?"
"Sure."
"As much as I want to join you and help, tomorrow is Sunday and i am not going to library on Sundays" Rainbow said.
"Alright" Applejack laughed.
"We would like to help too but Pinkie promised me she would help me look for Zephyr. I didn't see him around last few days" Fluttershy was worried.
"Ugh that guy" Rainbow eyerolled. "I finally told him something someone should have a while ago."
"It's good you told him that."
"I hate to break this conversation but I think someone is coming!" Pinkie warned.
"Okay then see you today when we go open the tunels" Rarity said before leaving.
"See ya!" Applejack said.
They all went their ways.

Later they met again with Discord and Mel. Twilight didn't show up but no one commented on it. They didn't want to start another fight.
Pinkie convinced the painting to let them in.
"Okay here we go" Rarity said as she put the key in the lock.
The door opened and a dark tunnel was revealed.
"Lumos!" Sunset casted a spell for light so they see where they are going.
"It looks so scary in here" Fluttershy said.
"Everything is scary to you" Mel pointed out.
"Hey that's perfectly fine!" Discord argued with Mel.
"Maybe she shouldn't have come with us then"
"Yes she should have! She is out friend, besides she helps us a lot in fighting and helped find you too!" Discord was angry.
"Shocking."
"Shush! No more making noises" Rarity said. "We don't know what is in here."
Everyone went quiet. Applejack unnoticably took Rainbow's hand as they proceeded to go down the tunnels.
"Here I think this should be it" Rarity said following the map in the book she was holding.
"Alohamora!" Sunset opened the door.
When the door opened a room with a purple crystal was revealed. It was shinning very bright and the crystal was huge, just like the one Mel was trapped in.
"Okay what should we do now?" Mel asked.
"We need to destroy it" Sunset said.
"But can't we use some of that power for good too?"
"No, it's better to not risk it getting into wrong hands."
"If you say so."
"Now we just need to figure out who is connected to it" Applejack pointed out.
"I think I may have an idea" Rarity said as she approached the crystal and it started glowing brighter.
She tried to cast a spell to destroy it and the crystal broke down in thousands of pieces.
"Well, compared to magic one this was easy" Discord noticed.
"Suspiciously easy" Sunset said.
"It kinda feels like someone wanted for us to find it, we didn't have any obsticale" Applejack joked.
"Hm... yeah...." Rarity was deep in her thoughts. "Seriously please let's meet at library as soon as we can."
"Okay? Is everything alright, sugarcube?"
"I'll explain tomorrow. Let's leave now, this place makes me uncomfortable."
"Agreed!" Fluttershy added.
And they left.

Rarity reached Ravenclaw's common room and entered. It was the middle of the night and no one was there.
Suddenly a hand reached out of the dark holding a black gemstone. The one as dark as night.
Rarity looked in fear. "It was you?! I knew it!"
"I always knew you were smart but I didn't know you were this smart. So glad we found your crystal this fast so now I can stop you from stopping me."
"Oh no you won't!" she pulled out her wand ready to fight.
"Expelliarmus!" mysterious person casted and Rarity's wand flew to the floor.
She started running, "I need to warn the others, I didn't tell them! I need to warn Applejack!" she yelled as person behind her threw the black crystal at her.
And Rarity felt herself being consumed by darkness.
Next morning Rarity and Applejack met at the library.
"Good morning!" Applejack greeted her.
"Morning, Applejack" Rarity said, not raising her head from the book.
"What are you reading?"
"Oh nothing" she said a sshe closed it.
"Okaay. So what was the thing you needed to tell me?"
"Oh that? Don't worry about it, I at the end found out it was nothing important."
"Are you sure?" Applejack raised an eyebrow. "You were very worried about to yesterday."
"I am sure. Don't worry about it, darling!"
"Alright, if you are sure."
"What about we go take a walk instead?"
"Sure!"
They exited the library and went to walk around Hogwarts. It was Sunday morning after all.

3rd Person's POV
Fluttershy has finally caught Discord alone. He has almost always been with Mel so she didn't get the chance to talk to him before.
"Hey uhm can I talk to you for a second?" she asked nervously.
"Of course!"
Then she proceeded to tell him everything that happened.
"Mel did say you will try to make up lies about her...." Discord was thinking.
"I swear I'm not lying! This actually happened!"
They sat there in a very uncomfortable silence, Discord was thinking while Fluttershy just wanted to disappear.
"I trust Mel. I have known her for so long" he said and Fluttershy got sad but then he proceeded, "but I also trust you. I think you are the one telling the truth here."
She sighed relieved, "I am so glad you trust me. I was worried."
"Of course I do! It's just... a shock."
"Do you want to talk more about it?"
"Yes please."
They continue to talk it through.

"I got it!" Sunset entered Slytherin's common room excited. Rainbow Dash was the only one there.
"Geez Sunset, how did you even enter our common room?"
"I have my secrets. Now listen. I know where the third crystal is!"
"You do?"
"Yes, I have spent whole summer searching and found out it must be a bit outside of Hogsmade."
"And why do you think they are there?"
"7 original witches and wizards connected to the crystals hid them all around the world so no one can find them. One girl decided to keep a diary. She said she left the crystal at her home but the locations of other crystals are unknown."
"Wait how in the world did you get her diary, it must be old?!"
"It is old. And if you want to know I accidentally found it on library floor before our first year ended."
"That sounds extremly suspicious. It's like somebody wanted you to find it."
"Or it was an accident?"
"Which would mean someone else was researching about it too!"
"You're right. I didn't really think about it. For all we know it could also be a trap!"
"Wait how do you know the girl lived outside Hogsmade?"
"She wrote it at some point, there is only one house at that place. Her crystal must be there."
"I don't know Sunset. This seems a lot like a trap, maybe we should inform Dumbledore?"
"You're right. Let's first go do that, just to be sure we are safe."

"Maud! MAUD!" Pinkie was calling for her older sister Maud. She was 2 years older, a Ravenclaw and excelent with rocks.
"Yes?" Maud said indifferently. She never really showed any emotions.
"So I wanted to ask you about some crystals. You see---"
"7 of them, each represents an element and is connected to one person who can destroy it but no one knows exactly where they are."
"How did you know I was going to ask about those?"
"Just a hunch. Look Pinkie, it is believed one is in the Ministry of Magic but be careful because---"
Suddenly Maud was hit with a spell from unknown person running down the hallway and fell frozen on the floor.
"MAUD!" Pinkie got scared. She tried to unfreeze her but nothing worked.

Later the squad has met at Astronomy Tower.
"Madam Pomfrey said she won't recover for 2 months but after that she will be fine" Pinkie filled the girls in on Maud.
"It's okay. It's important that she will be fine" Pinkie replied.
"I wonder what she wanted to warn you about" Sunset was thinking.
"The more this all goes on the more I believe we shouldn't mess with the crystals" Applejack said. "Someone else seems to be searching for them too."
"But they can be used for great evil, we can't let that happen" Sunset said.
"But what if they are used for great good?"
"Stop it!" Discord interrupted. "Did you two go to Dumbledore?"
"Not yet, we will go tomorrow" Sunset said.
"Okay let us know what he says."
"We will."
There was a moment of silence before Mel decided to speak up. "I think we definitely should continue to search for crystals!"
"And why is that?" Applejack asked.
"They obviously aren't hidden that well since we can find them so easily. Either we destroy them, use them for good or hide them better but whatever we do we need to first find them to be safe."
"Hm, I guess you're right...."
"Why don't we first find them and then agree later?"
"You really think we will agree later?" Twilight was laughing. "So naive of you really, I expected more."
"Shut up Twilight!" Rarity yelled and everyone was shocked.
"Okay I think we all need to get some rest" Discord said. "Why don't we first wait to find out what Dumbledore has to say and then decide. Althought I agree with Mel on this one."
"Hm I guess I do too. It makes sense" Fluttershy said.
They said their goodbyes and each left their own way. No one was sure of what they need to do or why Twilight and now Rarity too have been acting that way or who stopped Maud from saying her warning. But they all knew one thing, and that is that someone is after the same thing and they are in their way.
Next morning Sunset and Rainbow went to Dumbledore's office but when they got there he was nowhere to be found.
"This is weird" Sunset said.
"Maybe he just went to eat breakfast or something?" Rainbow suggested.
"I don't know, he is never away at this hours."
Suddenly McGonagall interrupted their conversation, "and what are you two doing here trying to enter professor Dumbledore's office?"
"We were just looking for him, it's kinda an emergency" Sunset explained.
"Well it will have to wait because there has been an even bigger emergency."
"What happened?"
"All you need to know is that Shining Armor and Cadence broke out of Azkaban and left something behind."
"They broke out?!" both of them were shocked.
"Yes but this is none of your concern, The Ministry will deal with it. And I suggest you just focus on your work and don't spread the word around so we don't create panic!"
"But how did they do that?" Rainbow asked.
"The Ministry believes they had help from outside."
"Do they know who?" Sunset was curious.
"Not yet unfortunately. Now, about that emergency, is there any way I can help?"
Sunset and Rainbow looked at each other.
"No, I don't think so professor" Sunset said awkwardly.
"Alright. Then I'll inform him you needed him when he comes back."
"Thank you."

"Absolutely not!" Applejack was angry.
The girls met up after Sunset and Rainbow called them for emergency and told them everything. Twilight didn't have much reaction except for saying that they are smart after all. Then Sunset and Rainbow suggested they go to the house anyway and see what happens to which Applejack got mad.
"Oh come on AJ, we need to find out what's there!" Rainbow tried to talk her in.
"Absolutely not, are you two insane? We all could get hurt!"
"That's why only few will go while rest will keep guard and one person will stay in Hogwarts and make sure no one is following us" Sunset explained.
"Still those who go will get hurt."
"If you don't want to go, you don't have to" Rainbow tried to reassure her.
"I don't want you to go, it's obviously a trap and I couldn't stand you getting hurt. Of course I also don't want any of us to go."
"May I just cut in?" Twilight said.
Sunset eyerolled, "here we go again", she whispered.
"I agree with Applejack."
Everyone was shocked. Applejack was first to speak, "you do?"
"Well of course! It would be really dumb to just burst into something that very obviously seems like a trap just because we want to get crystal before someone else. We can't risk it!"
"..yeah" Fluttershy agreed, "I don't really want to go either."
"Ah pftt" Rarity got annoyed, "if we don't go now maybe someone else will take them! We can't risk the doom of whole world just because we were scared to fight!"
"Exactly!" Sunset cut in, "if something is there, we will fight it!"
"We don't even know who we are messing with" Discord pointed out.
"Ugh, since when did you become so boring?" Rainbow was annoyed.
"I don't want what happened with Mel to repeat, let alone something worse!"
"I think we should go" Mel said.
"You know what, let's vote" Sunset said. "Those of you who want us to go raise your hand."
Sunset, Rainbow, Mel, Pinkie and Rarity raised their hand while Discord, Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy kept them down.
"Okay 5 against 4, we are going. You who voted you don't want to go, don't have to go. You can stay at Hogwarts and help us from here."
"Oh I am going!" Applejack said. "If you all are going, I'm coming too!"
"I want to come too!" Twilight joined. "I feel like you may need my help and knowledge."
"I think I'll stay..." Fluttershy said.
"And I'll stay with you!" Discord added.
"Perfect! Then it is all set!" Sunset was glad they agreed to fast. "How about we go this friday? Few of us will go in while others will keep guard around. We must be fast!"

It was Thursday, Sunset was alone in the room laying on her bed just thinking about all the things that are about to happen tomorrow.
She also thought about Candance and Shining Armor. Who set them free? Is it the same person who is after them? What happened to Maud? She tried to make a list of suspects but nothing was coming to her mind so she just decided to rest and get ready to fight tomorrow.

Rarity found Trixie in the Courtyard.
"Hey Trixie! I've been thinking."
"Oh so you did think about my suggestion?"
"As a matter of fact I did and don't you dare to interrupt me again."
"Alright. Please do continue."
"I want you to help me break Applejack and Rainbow Dash up!"
"I knew you would soon realize my idea is amazing" she smirked.

Discord and Mel met up.
"Okay, we need to talk" Discord said.
"What about?"
"About what you told Fluttershy! About the way you have been acting lately towards her" Discord got angry.
"Oh come on, please don't tell me you believe her over me!" she was annoyed.
"I didn't even said what she told me yet!"
"Oh please, I just tried to test you. To see if you would believe her or me."
"You're being very toxic. It's like you became a whole new person after we rescued you from that cave!"
"Well maybe because I spent so long alone in that cave! I had to work my way out, I had to do what was needed" she sounded desperate.
"What do you mean? What did you do?"
"Just... gotten angrier at all and wanted to plan revenge" she said awkardly.
"Okay... but what did Fluttershy do to you?"
"I just find it annoying that she is always around you! I don't want you to hang out with her anymore!"
"I won't stop hanging out with my best friend! You can't ask me that!"
"Well I can't be with you if you won't listen to me! If you should know what to do to stop me from feeling worried about her and listen to my feelings!"
"I am listening to your feelings! You're being extremly toxic and manipulative right now! You can't tell me who to hang out with and then try to blame me for 'not listening to you'! I tried to do everything I could to make sure you know I only like you and that Fluttershy and me are just friends. We all get jealous, that's okay, but you can't tell me what to do just because you feel insecure and don't trust me, even after we went through it many times, and especially can't say you can't be with me if I don't start ignoring my best friend!"
He paused, sighed, then continued, "so you'll either accept that I have other people in life too or you can freely leave this relationship. Nothing is stopping you."
It was the day, friday. It came by so fast the group didn't feel ready. But they had to go before someone takes the crystal.

Sunset's POV
We all gathered after classes.
"Alright! Let's go!" I said.
"If anything goes wrong, let us know!" Fluttershy reminded us.
"And if you two see anything suspicious let us know", I added.
"Of course!" Discord nodded.
We parted ways with them and went to the house outside Hogsmade.

It took us half an hour to get there. The house was old, missing pieces and with broken windows. It seemed like something attacked it and it was left alone since then. As much as I didn't like it, something felt off.
"Okay so who will go in?" I asked.
"Don't we all go in? Now is a bit late to be too scared to go", Rarity complained. I didn't understand why were they all acting so weird.
"We are not scared! And even if we were, that's normal! There is something seriously off with this place and we need to be careful! I say someone stays to guard", I suggested.
"Agreed. It would be best to be sure no one enters", Twilight finally agreed with me on something this year.
"Okay but who will stay?" Applejack asked.
"I will!" Pinkie volonteered.
"Great! Now let's go!" Rainbow was impatient.
We entered and never would have guessed how bad of an idea this was.

Pinkie's POV
I was standing outside guarding when I heard their screams. I started to panic and quickly sent a letter to Fluttershy before entering.
Inside was dark. Everything was all over the place, it was quite a mess and hard to walk without stepping on something. But that wasn't the thing that got me worried.
I saw my friends looking at me scared. They all had a wands pointed to their heads by some mysterious group of people. They had their faces covered and didn't speak so I couldn't tell if I knew any of them.
I knew I made a mistake of entering the house when I felt a wand being pointed to my head.
"Drop your wand!" a deep voice commanded as I lowered down my wand.
I can now only hope that Fluttershy and Discord won't end up in this mess and will get help before coming here. Otherwise no one knows where we went.

Fluttershy's POV
Discord and me heard Dumbledore will be coming back today so we were going around the castle trying to cover up for our friends not being here. Trixie approached us.
"Hey, have you two seen your friend Rarity anywhere?" she seemed kinda annoyed. "I have been search for her for an hour!"
"I think she was... uhm..." I was lost and in panic.
"Studying! I know she said she has to", Discord cut in which was a relief.
"Right.... well she wasn't in the library!" Trixie was suspicious. "And why is she studying and researching so much lately? She never did that before."
"I think she is working on a new line of clothes. Something about bringing the old trends back", Discord said.
"But you should ask her more about that, we wouldn't know!" I nervously added.
"Okay, whatever, but when you see her let her know that I need her! We have something to work on." Trixie left as she said that.
Discord and me looked at each other both relieved and confused. Why would Rarity and Trixie out of all people work together on something? Maybe it was some sort of project?

Time was passing by when suddenly a letter came to me. I got worried as soon as I saw it was from Pinkie.
"It says they are in trouble!" I panicked.
"We need to go help them!" Discord was determined.
"Help who?" we froze when we heard Dumbledore who came behind us.
"Uhhh..." I didn't know what to say. I was awful under preassure.
Luckily Discord was an amazing liar: "our friend Pinkie. She decided to try and help Hagrid with animals and apparently there is too much work so we will go there now to help them."
"Sure..." Dumbledore was suspicious but let us go anyway.
We rushed outside.

3rd person's POV
Soon they arrived to the house.
"Why does it always have to be creepy old abandoned places?" Fluttershy was worried.
"I know, right? It would be awesome for a change to go somewhere more calm!" Discord agreed.
"I knew this was a bad idea..."
"Me too."
They entered the house and saw a group of mysterious people holding their friends.
"Oh no!" Pinkie said as her hopes of them bringing someone else got ruined.
"So we are all doomed? Amazing, perfectly amazing!" Twilight was sarcastic.
"Hey we came to rescue you!" Discord said.
"All by yourselves?!" Rarity was angry.
"Well yeah that was a bad idea but we would get in trouble", Fluttershy explained. She noticed something glowing in the back. It was orange, a crystal. They weren't wrong about it being here.
"Oh and you will get in so much trouble!" Dumbledore said.
Everyone turned around to see Dumbledore and the rest of professors came to rescue them.
"Phew!" Mel was relieved.
"Step away!" McGonagall told Fluttershy and Discord who moved out of their way.
The fight took a while but professors managed to get the group out and scare away the dark wizards who managed to escape.
"Thank you so much professors!" Sunset said.
"You all have a lot of explaining to do!" Dumbledore was angry. "I knew something was up because Hagrid took a 3 day trip yesterday!" he said turning around to Discord and Fluttershy who got uncomfortable.
"We can explain", Rainbow said.
"Not here!" Snape said.
"Go destroy the crystal and then we will go back to Hogwarts!" Dumbledore turned to Applejack who nodded.

Applejack's POV
I entered the house and rushed towards the crystal. I couldn't destroy it. Not after everything weird happening to those who did destroy it! There is something Rarity wanted to tell me before her crystal but didn't for some reason and now she is acting strange!
Besides these crystals can be used for good too! Hopefully no one will catch the fact I shrank this crystal, turned it into necklace and hid under my uniform.
I exited out and we all went back to Hogwarts. We were in so much trouble.
Everyone was in Dumbledore's office waiting for him to come back.
"You know, this is all your fault!" Rarity pointed out to Fluttershy and Discord.
"How is it our fault?" Fluttershy was offended.
"If you were more careful Dumbledore wouldn't come there and we wouldn't be in trouble!"
"Exactly you would be destroyed by those dark wizards!" Discord cut in.
"It isn't their fault!" Rainbow said, "It was Twilight's fault for not helping us inside. We would have been faster if she did!"
"Excuse me? I didn't know how to help!" she defended herself.
"Look people at least the crystal is destroyed", Sunset tried to calm everyone down.
"Yeah..." Applejack was nervous.
"No, it's not okay! Pinkie you didn't guard the place well!" Mel accused her.
"Me? There was no one there! I don't know how they got inside!"
"That doesn't matter now!" Rainbow joined in.
"It very much does! We can't work as a team!" Mel was angry.
"Well maybe we can't!" Rainbow agreed.
"I don't even know if I want to go back to this group after this talk with Dumbledore!" Rarity was mad.
"Well maybe there is no group to begin with anymore!" Twilight said.
"Girls shush!" Sunset said as she pointed to Dumbledore entering.
"Now let's hear your side of the story", he said, "you all disobeyed my orders and didn't focus on your studies. You continued to search for crystals."
"Professor we are the only ones who can destroy the crystals", Sunset explained.
"Yes but you don't need to search for them! I've told you to leave that to professors and you didn't listen. I have to give you all detention."
"We understand", Sunset was defeated.

They were walking back to their dorms. Seperated their ways angrily.

"It has been days since all of us talked", Fluttershy was talking with Discord.
"I know..." he was sad.
"What if... our group really did fall apart?" she was terrified of even thinking about it.
"I'm sure we all can solve this somehow. Let's not give up hope yet!"
"I hope you're right..."
There was a short silence before Fluttershy spoke again: "What happened with you and Mel?"
"I broke up with her", Discord said remembering their fight.
"Oh... I'm sorry that happened..." she tried to pretend she was sad but she was glad her friens got out of toxic relationship.
"Don't be, I'm glad!"
"Did her fight with me influence it in any way?" She was curious.
"I guess it helped show me what kind of person she really is. I don't need someone who will force me to have no friends."
"Exactly! I'm glad you don't have that kind of negativity in yoir life anymore!" she was happy.

Applejack was in the bathroom adjusting her uniform and hiding her crystal so no one can see it.
However, Rarity and Trixie passed by and noticed her holding it.
"I can't believe it!" Rarity whispered to Trixie.
"What is it?" Trixie was confused.
"She kept the crystal!"
"Crystal?"
"It seems we don't have to come up with a lie to tear Rainbow Dash's and Applejack's relationship apart. I assume she didn't tell her."
"I'm very confused but whatever you think works, I guess. You know them better." _____
"UGH! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE!" Sunset threw all her papers on the floor.
"Relax Sunset, we will find other crystals!" Rainbow was helping her.
"Not until Twilight and some others get their sh---", Sunset was angry before she stopped seeing Rarity enter the room, "Great..."
"Yes Rarity?" Rainbow asked to break the silence.
"Oh I thought you were alone and just wanted to talk to you."
"About what?" Rainbow was curious.
"Applejack."
"Applejack? What about Applejack?" Rainbow was confused.
"Well maybe its better if I tell you privately."
"Ughh, finee! Will you be okay alone in here Sunset?"
"Actually, I might go grab a coffee, I can't focus anymore", Sunset got out.
"So what did you want to say?" Rainbow turned to Rarity.
"Applejack kept her crystal we found", Rarity was proud.
Rainbow burst out laughing: "Please! As if Applejack would keep a crystal without telling us! Especially without telling me about it!"
"If you don't trust me, ask her yourself!" Rarity confidently said before she left.
Rainbow was concerned. Her girlfriend wouldn't keep that kind of secret from her, right? And even if she did keep it maybe she didn't have time to tell her yet.
She was determined to find it out.

Sunset bumped into Twilight.
"Hey, watch a bit where you are going!" Twilight eyerolled.
"Excuse me?!" Sunset was shocked.
"You heard me. Don't get in my way!"
"It was an accident! Besides you have no right to yell at me about it! You were the one that wasn't watching where she was going too!"
"Ugh will you be giving me another long lecture about how I'm mean now?" Twilight eyerolled.
It was like something changed for Sunset at that moment, she was fed up. She took a deep breath and said calmly but strictly: "No, actually I won't."
"You won't?!" Twilight was surprised.
"Yes. Because we are over. I've had enough of your behaviour", she kept a straight face while her heart was breaking.
Twilight was shocked and before she could even react Sunset was gone.

"Hey AJ!" Rainbow kissed her girlfriend.
"Oh hey, I was just about to practice for Quidditch. Want to join?"
"Not really right now. Honestly, I would prefer to just spend time with you and talk."
"Oh sure! We can maybe go on a walk if you want?"
"That would be awesome!" Rainbow smiled.
They were walking and making small talk before Rainbow went to the point: "how have you been after the fight?"
"Oh... not really well, I'm worried our group is gone for good."
"Me too..." Rainbow got sad. "But hey at least we destroyed the crystal, right?"
"Yeah.. we did..." Applejack got nervous.
"Why are you nervous?" Rainbow was suspicious.
"Okay fine! I can't keep this any longer! The truth it I didn't destroy the crystal! It's right here", Applejack pulled up the crystal.
"What?! Why didn't you tell me?" Rainbow was shocked it was true.
"Because I was scared of how you will react!" Applejack was scared. "And we didn't get to talk much last few days but I did plan on telling you!"
Rainbow was relieved: "it's alright! I understand we didn't have opportunity to talk it through this week."
"Really? So you're not angry?"
"No! Why would I be? We talked about it now and I'm glad you trust me!" Rainbow smiled.
"And you're not angry I kept it?"
"No. However, I am curious why did you keep the crystal?"
"It just feels wrong to destroy them when we can do so much good with them!" Applejack tried to explain.
"I guess you're right! If that's what you think we should do then I support that!"
"I really think we should keep them just be careful to not lose it!"
"Ministry of magic, that's what Maud said one crystal was at!" Sunset turned to Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
"Are you really not going to talk about you and Twilight breaking up?" Rainbow was worried for her friend.
"No", Sunset was researching.
"Sunset, sugarcube, I know you don't want to focus on it right now but avoiding your feelings isn't a good copying mechanism", Applejack tried to explain.
"What isn't a good copying mechanism?" Fluttershy walked in.
"Oh we were just telling Sunset how she shouldn't avoid her feelings!" Rainbow explained.
"Well maybe Sunset isn't ready to face her feelings, why force her into it?" Fluttershy came off a bit more aggresive than she planned.
Applejack and Rainbow were confused.
"So sorry! I just have a lot on my mind lately too..." Fluttershy said as she drifted off.
Applejack and Rainbow looked at each other. Applejack put her hand of Fluttershy's shoulder: "look if you are talking about our group possibly falling apart, we all are worried about that too!"
"I wasn't talking about that..." Fluttershy explained.
Rainbow was confused: "then what were you talking about?"
Suddenly Pinkie burst inside crying: "I am sorry, okay? I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I'm sorry if I didn't guard the entrance well, I'm sorry we got caught but please let's not let that incident ruin our friendship! Let's make up!"
Everybody looked at her with empathy before Sunset spoke: "it's okay Pinkie, no one here is mad at you! Twilight is the one we have a problem with."
"And Mel..." Fluttershy's voice was just a whisper.
"And possibly Rarity?" Rainbow added.
"No way! I am on your side!" Rarity walked in, "I came to apologize too!"
"It's okay Rarity, we all were angry and said stuff" Applejack reassured her.
"I am so glad you're not mad at me!" Rarity smiled.
"Of course not! We all are friends!" Rainbow said before turning to Sunset, "even if some of us don't want to accept friends help and continue to ruin their health shoving themselves in work to avoid feelings."
"Teach me your ways", Fluttershy turned to Sunset.
Rarity smiled: "we may all need therapy but I love you girls!"
"Aww this calls for a grouos hug!" Pinkie said as she pulled everyone into a hug.
Few moments passed before they heard a voice, "really? You all are hanging out without me?!" Twilight was shocked.
"Well until you apologize for hurting everyone that is how it's going to be", Sunset was angry.
"I guess then I'll find another study place since I don't regret anything!"
"I guess you should!"
Twilight left angrily while everyone stared in shocked. Sunset was keeping straight face but as Twilight left she got sad.
Rainbow turned to her: "want to now talk about it?"
"Yes please..." she was sad.
"And then we can also talk about whatever is bothering you, Fluttershy?" Applejack included her.
"Oh no thanks, I'm good!" Fluttershy said in panic.
"If you say so..." Applejack didn't buy it.
They continued to talk.

Few days have passed, the groups was working on a plan to break into Ministry of magic. They didn't talk with Mel or Twilight.
"And that is how we are going to break into Ministry of magic and every pair will search up one part of it to find the crystal!" Sunset was proud of her plan.
"And you think it is a good idea for ALL of us to go there?!" Rainbow asked.
"I have to agree with Rainbow Dash, one of us going is already a lot but all of us? We are set to be caught!" Rarity was concerned.
"Yeah, it's not a small thing breaking into it!" Applejack agreed.
"But we have no other choice, we have to find it!" Sunset tried to explain.
"I'm in!" Discord was first to agree with her.
"You are?" Pinkie was shocked.
"We better find it as soon as possible and just stop this madness."
"I think I'll go this time too!" Fluttershy agreed.
"Okay we all are going then!" Applejack joined and others agreed.

They were in front of Ministry of magic and had their disguises on.
"To repeat, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and me are going together, Applejack and Rarity, Pinkie and Discord", Sunset whispered, "you all know what to do?"
Everyone nodded and entered.

Rarity and Applejack were searching tons of shelves on bunch of desks. They didn't have much time before next shift started.
"Rarity why are you so slow? We don't have much time!" Applejack tried to hurry her.
"Don't rush me, Applejack! These things are dirty, I have to put on protection gloves!"
"Fine but hurry!"
"I will, I will, calm down!"
They continued to search before Rarity asked: "why are you with Rainbow Dash?"
"Beg you pardon?" Applejack stopped searching, "what do you mean?"
"I mean, why do you like her?"
"How can I not? Sure she can be stubborn and full of herslef but she is the most amazing person I have ever met! Besides I like her stubbornes and pride too", Applejack smiled. "Why do you ask?"
"Just wondering... so there isn't anyone else you would date?"
"No! Why exactly are we having this conversation?" Applejack got angry.
"I just wanted to know."
"Well if you so want to know, I'll repeat, I love Rainbow, there isn't anyone else!" she said as she continued her search.
"Ugh.." Rarity said to herself and continued search too.

"What if villain isn't someone obvious? What if it is someone we trust?" Pinkie asked.
"I am confused..." Discord replied.
"Weeeell, we all know someone helped Shining Armor and Cadence escape. And that someone must be from Hogwarts, must have heard our talks. What if it is someone we trust?"
"And who do you think it is?"
"You!" she proudly pointed out at him.
"Me? You think I would betray all of you?!"
"Why not? You are already angry at Mel and they are her enemies. And you know all of our plans and have our trust!"
"I would never do that to Fluttershy!" he said pausing before continuing, "or any of our other friends! This is ridicilous!"
"You are very defensive!" Pinkie found it amusing. She was sure he would confess.
"Because you are accussing me for no reason!" he was angry.
"I guess only time will tell!" Pinkie said suspiciously.
"So Fluttershy", Rainbow started as she was searching, "what has been bothering you lately."
"Oh, don't worry about it, nothing to bother you!" she was nervous.
"You could never bother us!" Sunset said.
"Yeah, we are your friends, you can tell us anything!" Rainbow said quickly turning to her before continue to look through things again.
"It's not important..." Fluttershy was shy.
"If it bothers you then it is definitely important!" Sunset stated.
"Uhm fine, okay..." she took a deep breath, "let's say I like someone."
"As in have a crush?" Rainbow asked.
"Yeah... what should I do about it?"
"That depends on situation. Are you two close?"
"Yeah, we are close friends..."
Rainbows eyes went wide as she saw a crystal hidden in small hole in the wall. She quickly grabbed it and hid it in her pocket before continuing to make distraction: "mhm, tell us more about that person."
"Yeah, do we know them? If they are close to you..." Sunset was curious too.
"Well uhmm... it may be Discord."
"DISCORD?!" Sunset and Rainbow yelled.
"Eh, I'm not that surprised actually", Rainbow shrugged.
"Well I am! How long have you had a crush on him?" Sunset was curious.
"I don't know... I guess since this year. Lately I just can't stop thinking about him."
"So Mel was right?" Rainbow realized.
"No! I would never break their relationship! I planned to be just friends with Discord but now that he broke up with Mel, I don't know if I should tell him..."
"Yes! Definitely do!" Sunset said.
"I agree, it's best to be honest about your feelings and he's single now."
"However, remember that decision is all up to you!" Sunset reminded her.
"Alright, thanks for your advice!" Fluttershy smiled. "I'm glad I shared it with you!"
"Happy to help!" Rainbow said proudly.

"It says here that one crystal is in Azkaban!" Discord said to himself.
"Hey, look at this text! Sunset called us saying they found the crystal!" Pinkie showed him a text from Sunset calling everyone to come.

When they arrived they saw a small crystal that was hidden behind a locked room.
"I'm impressed, how did you break in?" Applejack asked.
"Magician never reveals their secrets!" Rainbow joked.
"We don't know who can destroy it!" Sunset explained, "none of us could!"
"Maybe I can try?" Pinkie said.
She went to the crystal and casted a spell. The crystal broke into many pieces.
Suddenly people from Ministry started coming.
"Oh no, run!" Sunset yelled but it was too late. Their disguises wore off and they didn't have anywhere to go.
"We are doomed!" Pinkie yelled.
Minister of magic entered as well as Dumbledore.
"I am very dissapointed in all of you!" Dumbledore said.
"What are you all doing here? What happened to the crystal?!" Minister was freaking out.
"It's all my fault, I made them come here!" Discord said.
"What?!" Everyone was shocked.
"No!" Fluttershy yelled.
"It's okay, they deserve to know the truth. You all deserve to know the truth!" Discord turned to his friends.
"What do you mean?" Minister asked.
"I made them come here with me and destroy the crystal", Discord explained, "you see... Pinkie was right!"
"I knew it!" Pinkie was happy, "wait! What was I right about?"
"Everything! I'm the one who broke out Shining Armor and Candence out!" he yelled out.
"WHAT?!" everyone was even more shocked.
"No! That's not true! It can't be!" Fluttershy yelled.
"Oh, but it is Fluttershy", he couldn't stand to look her in the eyes. "I gained all of yours trust and at first wasn't on Shining's side but with Mel and me fighting here and there and drifting apart whole summer.... she didn't appreciate us saving her at all! She tried to manipulate my entire life! I wanted revenge on her!"
"But why would you join Candence and Shining?" Sunset didn't understand.
"That would hurt Mel the most, wouldn't it?" Discord smiled.
"But we are you friends, are we not?!" Fluttershy was crying and yelling.
"I guess I'm not as good as you thought! But hey, that's just who I am, a villain!"
"That's not who you are! Not the real you!"
"And you happen to be the only one who knows me? I am a villain in this story I guess!"
"Not in my story", she cried.
"Wow wow wait!" Rainbow stopped them, "why ever would you confess then?"
His eyes saddened, "I guess by making friends I started to care for some of you." He looked at Fluttershy, "and it just wouldn't be fair to lie to people you care about. So I have to come clean! I'm sorry but know this is what I had to do, Fluttershy. There was no other way."
"There was for this. Revenge is never the answer."
"No, this is the only effective way."
"So you'll end up in Azkaban just for a dumb revenge?" Applejack was still confused.
"If that's what it takes to make it right in the name of our friendship, yes", he barely let out the last word.
"Take him away!" The Minister of magic said.
"And you all are coming with me! You are in huge trouble!" Dumbledore said. "And by that I mean getting expelled kind of trouble!"
"I am sorry, Fluttershy. I'm sure one day soon you will understand why I did what I did!" Tear dropped down his cheek.
"I don't think I could! This is cruel, to do that just for revenge!"
"Would I really? And for revenge if no less?" he whispered, "I thought you knew me the best."
"Wait what? Was this not?" she was confused.
They were taking him away: "however, one thing is right, it is cruel to lie like this to someone, don't you think?"
"What?" Fluttershy was confused. "Stop! Don't take him away!"
"Fluttershy, dear, you can't possibly want to have to do anything with him now, right?" Rarity stopped her.
"I... I think he is innocent after all!" she said confidently.
"I can't believe it! That he would betray us like this!" Rainbow was pacing around the room while they waited for Dumbledore to come back to his office. "And do that to Fluttershy too! You must have been very hurt!"
"Actually I think he is innocent!" Fluttershy was confident.
"Look I know it's hard to accept the truth and that you see him through rose colored glasses but he literally confessed to everything! Why would he lie about that and end up in Azkaban?"
"It must have been really important if he lied about that! It was just... the way he said it, it seems like he didn't do it! And I know him, he wouldn't do something like that!" She argued.
"But he would lie that he broke someone out of prison?" Rainbow was skeptical.
"Well... uhm yes... if he had a good reason."
"We doesn't!"
"Besides", Pinkie cut in, "who else would break them out and know everything we do?"
"You all are so dumb", Twilight suddenly entered.
"Twilight? What are you doing here?" Sunset got angry.
"Just checking up if you survived your stupid plan", she eyerolled.
"Dumbledore will be here any minute!" Rarity pointed out.
"Pft please! You have been waiting for him for hours now!"
"True, I wonder what's taking him so long", Fluttershy was worried.
"Doesn't matter. I just wanted to warn you!" Twilight said.
"Warn us? About what?" Applejack asked.
"Trixie."
"Trixie?" Rarity got nervous.
"Yeah, I definitely noticed her spying some of you here and there. I agree with Fluttershy, I don't think Discord did it, but Trixie? She could definitely be a potential suspect."
"That is really odd", Sunset admitted.
"We really need to be more careful with out plans! This is a magic school, anyone could have heard us!" Applejack reminded them.
"True! I'll leave you to waiting now though! I don't want to be caught sneaking into a place I'm not allowed to!" Twilight pointed out and left. Sunset eyerolled.
They continued to wait a few more hours.

Dumbledore finally arrived.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, is everything alright?" Sunset was the first to ask.
"Yeah, you have been gone for long!" Rainbow added.
"Discord broke out!" is all he could said.
"What?!" everyone was shocked.
"Didn't he just got there?" Applejack asked.
"He did. We locked him up, went to deal with some papers about him being arrested and when we came back he was gone!"
"But how would he do that?" Rarity was shocked.
"We have no idea. We believe he stole something from the Ministry to help him escape. And now he is gone."
"That's a surprise, I was with him the whole time and he didn't seem to take anything! But.. I might have been distracted few times..." Pinkie admitted.
"It doesn't matter, he is free now. And we believe he will try to contact someone close to him!" Dumbledore looked at Fluttershy.
"Uhm, why are you looking at me, headmaster?" Fluttershy was uncomfortable.
"Can I trust you that you'll let me know if Discord tries to contact you again?"
"Of course."
"Alright. Now about your punishments, since Discord took the blame, you all get to stay this time. But any more stunts connected to crystals and you are out of this school!"
"Understood professor", Sunset wad ashamed.
"I warned you many times and I can't keep protecting you if you don't let me and listen to me!"
"We will stop with finding crystals."

The girls were going back to their dorms.
"So what do we do now?" Rainbow was curious.
"Nothing. You heard him, we give up", Sunset replied sadly.
"What? You can't possibly give up now! We almost found them all!"
"No, he is right. This is way too serious for us and we can't risk getting expelled."
Everyone got sad. They all agreed with Sunset, there was nothing else to do anymore than wait.
Fluttershy suddenly got an envelope. She was behind everyone so no one noticed as she quickly read though it. Her eyes went wide.
"What are you reading?" Pinkie asked.
"Nothing..." she replied.
They all parted ways.
As pinkie was walking to The Great Hall she noticed shadow surrond her. No screams were heard, no way to escape as darkness filled her, it has been too late.

Sunset was going through books in library when she went to grab one on a higher shelf only for her hand to bump into Twilight's.
"Not you again..." Sunset was tired.
"Relax, I'm just picking up a book to study! No need to hate!" she eyerolled.
There was awkward silence before Sunset asked: "do you really think it could be Trixie?"
"Well duh! Why else would I say that?"
"You have just been acting so weird this whole year..."
"As if I care, this is just real me--- except it's not and I'm sorry! I could never be sorry!" Twilight was switching from mean to nice.
"Twilight, are you okay? You're worrying me!" Sunset didn't know what was going on anymore.
"Help me..." Twilight said as she sat on the floor, grabbing her head.
"You have to tell me what's wrong then", she gently place a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't touch me!" she removed her hand.
"Twilight what is wrong?!" she asked louder and more determined to find the answer.
"Nothing is wrong! Don't you see I'm perfectly fine! Let me be!" Twilight got up and left. Her notebook fell open on the ground.
Sunset was very confused and worried. When she looked at the notebook she saw the pages have only been filled with words "HELP ME!" written all over. Sunset felt sick. Was her ex really under a spell or in some other type of trouble this whole time? It has been pages and pages filled with the exact same message. Has she really not tried to thinj about that option?
"What in the world is going on?" she whispered to herself. _____
It was the middle of the night. Fluttershy went to The Forbidden Forest.
"Are you insane?!" She yelled at shadow figure.
"Look, I can explain!" Discord defended himself.
"It better be good! Azkaban?!"
"I found out one of the crystals is in Azkaban! I had to lie to get in!"
"Wait so you didn't break them out?"
"You know I would never!"
"But why did you say you did?! Now everyone thinks you did it! Couldn't we just come up with another plan?" she was angry.
"There wasn't time! And we wouldnt be able to break in! I had to steal some stuff in Ministry to break out of Azkaban!" he defended himself.
There were few moments of silence.
"I knew you didn't do it", Fluttershy smiled.
"Thanks for believing in me!" he smiled back. "Here!" he gave her the crystal.
"You already found it?" she was shocked and impressed.
"I have my ways!" he winked.
"Do I destroy it now?" she was curious.
"No! There is something weird going on! Don't destroy it for now, just keep it safe!"
"Alright", she nodded.
"Oh, by the way, I can trust you won't tell anyone I am hiding in here?"
"Of course! You can trust me!"
"It means a lot!"
"When will I see you again?"
"Probably not until you find all the crystals."
"We kinda gave up on that..." she got embarrassed.
"You can't give up now! There are only two left to be found!"
"You're right! I guess we can find two more if we already found 5!"
"It's getting late. Go, find the crystals and if you need me I'll be around here!"
"Wait, before I go, since we won't see each other for a while, I have to tell you something!"
"Oh sure!" he was all ears.
"I know this is kinda sudden but lately I have been thinking and I like--" she started before being interrupted by a crack. "Someone is here! Hurry hide!" she whispered.
Discord ran away wondering what she was about to say.
Seconds later Hagrid appear.
"Oh hey ter Fluttershy! What yer doing out this late?"
"I was just going for a walk and got lost", she pretended to be in panic. "I'm so glad you found me!"
"Of course! Let's get yeh back to Hogwarts!" he said.
Fluttershy turned once more in Discords direction before going back to castle.
Few days have passed and no one has seen Sunset so the girls decided to give her a visit.
"Hey there, Sunset, we just wanted to check up on you!" Rainbow entered.
"Yeah, we have been worried! Are you alright?" Fluttershy added.
"Not really, I just came to laugh at the mess you are right now", Pinkie shrugged.
Everyone turned around in shock.
"Excuse me?!" Sunset said it stopping everything she was doing.
"It's fun to see people in pain!"
"Out!" Sunset yelled.
"You can't be serious!" Rarity interrupted. "She is right after all!"
"You too! Out! Both right now!" she didn't change her mind.
"Sugarcube, why don't you calm down?" Applejack tried to calm her.
"Anyone else who objects will go too!"
There was silence as Rarity and Pinkie left awkwardly.
"What was that about?" Rainbow was angry.
"Look at this!" Sunset shoved Twilight's notebook in their faces. She sounded desperate.
"Uhh, what's that?"
"You're making us even more worried", Fluttershy pointed out.
"That's Twilight's notebook! She is not okay! She isn't mean! There is something wrong with everyone who destroyed the crystal! I need to find out what is happening! I need to save her and all of our friends!" Sunset was crying.
Then she suddenly stopped, "that is, everyone except you Applejack. Why is it that when you destroyed the crystal you didn't go mad?"
"Uhm.. well... you see... I kept it."
"YOU KEPT IT?" Sunset was shocked.
"I kindaaa did too!" Rainbow said pulling out her crystal.
"Don't ask how but I have one too", Fluttershy pulled out a pink one.
"You all have been keeping crystals? Wait does that mean Discord contacted you?"
"It doesn't matter how I got it! Why don't you ask Rainbow how she got hers?"
"Hey, no fair! I grabbed it at the Ministry when Fluttershy was telling us how she liked Discord!" Rainbow defended herself.
"Fluttershy likes Discord?" Applejack said even though she wasn't surprised.
"Okay, okay, maybe that's good!" Sunset tried to calm down, "after all everyone who destroyed theirs became mean!"
"Maybe crystals have a curse on them?" Applejack suggested.
"No, then it would affect them as soon as they broke it!" Sunset explained.
"So we can't know why it happened?" Rainbow asked.
"No..." Sunset was sad.
"What if one of us breaks it and the rest guard to see what or who messed up with it?"
"That's way too dangerous!"
"Well I volounteer!" Rainbow said.
"No!" Applejack tried to stop her but it was too late, Rainbow oulled out her wand and destroy the crystal.
"Great!" Sunset facepalmed.
"There isn't other way and we have to find out! We don't have time!"
"Alright, so we will guard Rainbow in turns while I find out how to get crystals back." Sunset tried fo be calm.
"I don't think there is a need for that", Fluttershy pointed out, "what's that page in Twilight's journal that's marked?"
"Oh, I didn't notice that, let's see", Sunset opened it, "turns out the crystals are called Elements of Harmony and they are all connected! Both to each other and to one person! Each Element represents one virtue that the person they are connected to has!"
She looked at the drawing before continuing: "there are 6 known elements: laughter, generosity, honesty, loyalty, kidness and magic. 7th unknown. To it's contrast is also the element of chaos. Or so the legends says. No one knows if all elements exist but united they hold great power! Power can only be destroyed by element of chaos and vice versa!"
"It also says they can only be repaired if each is worn by their person and if they are united!"
"Maybe we still can help our friends!" Applejack was hopeful.
"We just need to find the last crystal and hope putting them back together will break whatever spell was casted on them! Now the only problem is where do we start?"

Rarity and Applejack were taking a walk. After talk with Sunset, the girls let her take time to think of their next step. They need to be alert at all times and Applejack thought it would be good idea to check on the rest of their friends who have broken their crystals. Fluttershy stayed nearby Rainbow Dash just in case to guard.
"Have you noticed Rainbow Dash being distant lately?" Rarity asked.
"No?" Applejack was confused.
"Well it seems to me she is becoming so occupied with our adventures that she forgets to make time just for you."
"Are you seriously trying to pin Rainbow and me against each other?" She lost it. How could her best friend even think about saying something like that.
Rarity was offended at Applejack not believing her: "I am just saying what I see! But if you don't want to trust me then don't come back crying to me when you realize I was right!"
Rarity stormed off while Applejack facepalmed. She stays outside for few more minutes thinking about everything that's happening. That is before she remembered they left Fluttershy guard Rainbow Dash. She quickly ran.

Meanwhile Rainbow and Fluttershy were at Hogwarts.
"Are you sure it was a good idea to leave you here with me in case something happens? I mean, no offense, but you aren't the most courageous person I know", Rainbow tried to ask.
"Not taken. And I ask myself that every passing second. What if someone attacks us?" Fluttershy was terrified.
"Relax! They can't get past both of us!" She decided to reassure her.
They continued to walk the hallways when suddenly Fluttershy slipped and fell into water.
"Ouch!"
"Who ever spilled water around this part of the hall?" Rainbow was annoyed.
"Would it be okay if I go change into something dry?"
"Sure. I'll call in case of an emergency."

Fluttershy changed her clothes and was going back to meet Rainbow Dash when she heard her scream.
"Oh no! Rainbow!"
She ran as fast as she could and arrived just in time to see a person put a spell on Rainbow Dash.
"Wait! You did this to them?" Fluttershy was shocked.
"I may have learnt a spell or two before breaking Candence and Shining Armor out of Azkaban!" the girl said.
"But what did you do to them? And why am I not surprised, Mel", Fluttershy was angry.
"The same thing I'll do to you once I break that crystal off your necklace!" Mel was determined.
"Bombarda!" Mel yelled as explosion hit near Fluttershy.
"Expelliarmus!" she yelled.
Mel laughed: "Protego! Is this really the best you got?"
"I don't want to hurt you!"
"Well I want to hurt you!" Mel was angry. "Flipendo!"
"Protego!" Applejack jumped in. She was shocked to see Rainbow passed out. "What happened here?!"
"No time to explain!"
"There will be more time to fight, soon enough. For now, good luck finding the last crystal. You'll need it", she winked.
Before she disappeared Applejack and Fluttershy saw a crystal necklace around Mel's neck.
"She has the last crystal?" They were both shocked.
"Let's take Rainbow to Madame Pomfrey", Applejack said. She was worried about her girlfriend.
One would think this would be more epic battle but the real battle is to come soon.

Applejack, Sunset and Fluttershy were the only ones left from the group to save the rest of their friends and the world.
"I don't understand anything that is going on anymore!" Fluttershy was confused.
"Why would Mel do that?" Applejack asked.
"Who cares? We need to stop her and we need to do it now! Before she does any more damage!" Sunset was determined.
Suddenly, their conversation was interrupted by an owl bringing a letter.
"This all ends tonight", Fluttershy read out loud, "'meet me by the lake at midnight if you aren't afraid of a little duel. Mel'"
"Great..." Applejack facepalmed.
"No, no, this is good. The sooner we get this done with the better! Besides there's 3 of us and 1 of her", Sunset was glad.
"Okay listen!" she started, "Fluttershy contact Discord for help!"
"I can't... I don't know where he is."
"Okay then we go without him!"
"Isn't the lake a little open and visible to everyone to have a duel?" Applejack was skeptic.
"It is but who cares! Maybe someone comes to help us! I just want this over with!"
"Okay... will we invite the rest?" Applejack asked.
"No way! We don't know what kind of curse she put on them! We can't risk it."
"So just 3 of us?"
"Yes."
"Against her?"
"What if Shining Armor and Candence appear?" Fluttershy was still stressing.
"Then we defeat them too!" Sunset yelled.
"Woah, calm down a bit, Sunset! I think you may be putting too much faith in 3 of us", Applejack was awkward.
"I just can't wait anymore for something to happen! It feels like we are in the middle of some crossover fanfiction that's been going on for over a year and it still has no end! I need answers! I need stuff to happen! I need to know!" Sunset was frustrated.
"Crossover fanfiction?" Fluttershy was even more worried and confused.
"Harry Potter or whatever!"
"What does Harry Potter have to do with this? He still doesn't go to Hogwarts?"
"Now she sound as crazy as Pinkie Pie!" Applejack was seriously worried for her friend's health but decided not to say anything further.
"Just... forget it."
"Look, we all want to help our friends as badly as you do! But a little better preparation and plan won't hurt!" Applejack tried to calm her down.
"You're right! Let's first think of a plan and then go there!" Sunset agreed.
"See? Now we are getting somewhere!"

It was time! For the biggest battle of the school year! Or so they said.
Applejack was nervously waiting for 10 minutes to pass to hit midnight: "you know if Rarity was here, she would probably make us wear something she designed just for this occassion! She somehow always has new clothes for all of us for every occasion!" She was always impressed by that, even though she would never admit it out loud.
"I! Am! TERRIFIED!" Fluttershy was shaking.
"It's going to be all right, sugarcube! We got each other to protect ourselves!" Applejack was calming her down.
"We still don't know where is Discord", she pointed out.
"Let's hope he is far from here!" Applejack said knowing the battle is about to come.
In the meantime, Sunset was going through the spells for dueling in her head. She was slowly whispering them out loud.
"I see you are nervous too!"
"Who wouldn't be?"
"You got a point!" Applejack agreed.
"These are the longest 10 minutes ever!" A voice behind them said.
They all froze and turned around.
And to their surprise they saw Trixie standing there.
"Trixie? What in the world are you doing here?" Applejack was first to speak.
"Well for starters, I was wondering what the 3 of you are doing out this late and went to check."
"You were spying on us?"
"Not the point! I see you have been sneaking aroumd without Rainbow?"
"Let's not talk about that right now!" Applejack was angry.
"Then let's talk about what is happening here?"
"You will ruin the whole mission, Trixie!" Sunset was angry. "MOVE!"
"Someone is annoyed!"
"Can you.. uhm.. maybe please go back to your dorm. We can tell you tomorrow about it?" Fluttershy tried to be nice.
"Too late! I am here now and I will join!" Trixie was proud.
"Then get ready to fight!" Sunset said as she noticed shadows approaching them.
"Wait what?" Trixie panicked.
Shadows became clearer. Clock striked midnight.
In front of them were standing Shining Armor Cadence and Mel holding her wand pointed to Discord she was holding.
"Discord! Oh no!" Fluttershy yelled.
"Looks like you didn't even bring any backup!" Mel was laughing. "How lame!"
"Hey! I am here!" Trixie protested.
"Exactly!" Mel was angry.
"Let's save the talk for another time, shall we?" Cadence said.
"Yeah, you give us crystals we give you Discord!" Shinning armor was smiling. He alwass held himself proudly.
"Or", Sunset began. She was determined to win, to get their fight over with and bring back her ex to normal, to fix everything back, to save crystals, and now Discord too and to bring them back to Azkaban, "we take back Discord and your crystal too!"
The air was cold by the soft breeze blowing. Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Fluttershy and Trixie were standing in front of Shining Armor, Cadence and Mel with Discord. Everyone looking at one another, nobody making a move.
"Depulso!" Cadence started by attacking them.
"Glacius!" Sunset tried to freeze her.
A fight broke out among all of them.
Fluttershy and Mel were fighting. "Rictusempra!" Fluttershy tried to be nice by casting a tickling charm attack.
Mel laughed, "Seriously, it will take more than a small tickle charm to defeat me!"
"Incarceous!" Fluttershy quickly said and tied Mel who suddenly dropped her wand and let go of Discord when he hit her with his elbow in the stomach.
He took the chance and quickly stole her wand, "Huh, that was way too easy!"
"Immobulus!" Shining casted as Applejack and Sunset froze in one place. "I will enjoy taking these!"
"Not if we have a say about it!" Dumbledore and the rest of the teachers jumped out from the bushes. Among them was Zephyr too. Him and Rainbow made up a while back and he was ready to help fight with his sister.
"Wait what?" Shining was confused but before he could say anything Snape hit him with a spell, "I never liked that kid anyway."
"But we have the rest of the girls with us!" Mel said as Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie and Rainbow stepped out.
"We thought of that too!" Sunset smiled back.
"I have never been more confused about anything in my entire life!" Trixie said as she watches the events unfold.
Sunset, Applejack and Fluttershy quickly grabbed the rest of the girls and put the elements together. Discord tossed them an element of Empathy that was around Mel's neck.
All the crystals started to glow and suddenly all of them looked new. The curse was broken.
"Ouch, what even happened!" Twilight said as she held her head but soon enough she remembered everything that has been going on this year, "Oh no!"
"Yeah..." Sunset said awkwardly.
"Well, got to say Fluttershy you are a terrible guard!" Rainbow laughed.
"I'm so sorry!" she was feeling guilty over leaving her friend alone.
"No worries, at least we found out who it was this way! And that was the point of breaking my crystal!"
"But wait how did the teachers find out?" Mel asked. She was confused as to how they were outnumbered after all.
"That's an easy answer", Dumbledore smiled.
"When we got your note, we knew we will be outnumbered and not prepared enough", Sunset started to explain.
"So we just told out teachers!" Applejack finished.
"We did say we won't mess with crystals anymore", Fluttershy was happy.
"I'm sure Dumbledore is pleased to know you also let him know on time when Discord contacted you", Snape eyerolled.
"Okay, maybe we didn't do everything as promised", she was embarrassed.
"I can't believe it! I wanted to get revenge on you! For ignoring me whole summer, Discord! And spending most of the time with her!" Mel was furious.
"We are just friends! I can have friends, Mel!" Discord defended himself, "We can spend time with other people! No need to release criminals from Azkaban for that!"
"I knew she went crazy in that cave she was trapped in!" Pinkie commented.
"Are you really just friends?" Mel was angry.
"Are we really just friends?" Fluttershy looked at him.
"Are you really just friends?" Dumbledore loved the drama.
"Yes!" Discord said loudly before stopping, "Wait what?"
"Are we not?" he asked.
"I mean, we are", Fluttershy got shy.
"And do you like it that way?"
"Oh fuck it!" she said, "I would really like to be your girlfriend. I have liked you for a while."
"I am so glad you said that!" he said as he hugged her, "I have been feeling the same way. Though just to state, Mel wasn't right! I only started to like you as something more than friends after Mel and I broke up."
"Ugh! I will scream!" Mel yelled as she was being dragged to Azkaban with Cadence and Shining Armor.
Discord asked: "May I kiss you?"
Fluttershy nodded and he pressed a gentle peck.
"Sunset, I am so sorry!" Twilight turned around from the mess that was happening.
"Don't worry, Twilight. It wasn't your fault! Besides, you did everything you could to fight it and help us find out. You were the reason I didn't give up and found out about the curse after all!"
"I know but I still feel bad."
"It'll be okay", Sunset hugged her.
They stayed like that for a few minutes before Twilight pulled away, "And about out break up?"
"Oh, right!" Sunset remembered, "Do you want to get back together?"
"There's nothing I would want more right now!" Twilight smiled and pressed her lips on her friend turned girlfriend turned ex turned girlfriend's.
"Hey Applejack", Rarity began as Applejack looked at her, "I'm sorry for trying to break you and Rainbow up! I only joined Trixie in that because I was under a spell. Otherwise, I would never hurt my best friends like that!"
"We know!" Applejack smiled.
"Wait, did you say Trixie?" Rainbow was angry.
"Well duh!" Trixie was proud. "I always hated you, Rainbow Dash!"
"Why?" Rainbow was annoyed.
"Because you get to be the best at everything and have a perfect life! It doesn't work like that!"
"And that's why you try to make it worse?" she raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. You won't get rid of me this easily, Rainbow!" she threatened as she started to leave, back to the castle.
"I am so scared!" Rainbow was sarcastic.
"I think I'll go check up on Maud! She woke up and got better a long time ago!" Pinkie said to herself.
"So... now what?" Twilight asked.
"You all get some sleep, pack and we will meet at my office tomorrow morning!" Dumbledore said.
"Got it! I can't believe I missed a whole year because of this curse!" Twilight was feeling strange. She couldn't stop and couldn't help it but she wished she could have been there like herself.
"And all because Discord's love problems!" Rainbow teased him.
"He has a bad taste", Zephyr said.
"Well let's hope this time it will be better!" Rarity added.
"Oh, it will!" Discord smiled at Fluttershy.
"What do you know? Maybe I too go release some criminals to join me in my plan for your revenge!" Fluttershy joked.
They all went to sleep and started to pack their things since it was end of the year and everyone was heading home tomorrow.

Next morning they met at Dumbledore's office, "I couldn't be any more proud of you all! You listened to me and called us to help! And you got to the bottom of this! Well done!"
"Thank you, headmaster!" Sunset smiled.
"I just hope we won't have to do anything similar next year!" Discord was exhausted.
"I don't know, I kinda liked the cursebreaking role! Maybe I'll try to pursue a career in that!" Sunset said.
"Me too! I don't want anyone to go through what I did!" Twilight joined in.
"What happens now with the crystals?" Rainbow asked.
"I say you all keep it and put it to good use! I know I can trust you and the world needs more help from the Elements of Harmony!" Dumbledore told them.
"That's a lot of responsibility but I am sure we all are ready to take them!" Applejack replied.
"Besides you still didn't find the opposite element of Disharmony!" he looked at Discord.
"Oh we will definitely be searching for that next!" he got excited.
"I'm in!" Pinkie said.
"Now if I recall correctly we have a closing feast to attend!" Dumbledore smiled.

"I would like to thank the brave souls who helped bring the criminals back to Azkaban, especially Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Discord. You have shown how teamwork and friendship can lead to great things and I am sure you will continue to do so! We are grateful for your help!" Dumbledore said in the speech.

They all were waiting for their trains to arrive.
"I can't believe it! Our second year is done!" Twilight was amazed and lost.
"Yeah, 5 more to go!" Applejack said.
"I'm sure those 5 will be even more intense than these last 2!" Rainbow was excited.
"How can they possibly be more intense than these?" Rarity was confused and worried for Rainbow.
"I don't know... I could use some peace and calm", Discord said.
"Agreed! It would be nice to have a nice and calm year!" Fluttershy smiled at him.
"Well whatever it is, whatever happens I know we will be ready for it!" Sunset was happy.
"And we will have each other!" Twilight hugged her.
"That is unless any more curses are thrown!" Pinkie pointed out.
"Let's hope they won't be!" Applejack said hopeful.
"I love you all! Thank you again for saving me!" Twilight said.
"We love you too! Thank you for helping us!" Sunset hugged her.
"This feels like an end", Twilight said after few moments of comfortable silence.
"Well it is the end of this fanfic so that's why", Pinkie added.
"I knew I wasn't crazy!" Sunset turned to Pinkie.
"I think you both are crazy!" Rainbow was worried.
"Okaaay, you all need to promise you will write to me!" Twilight pointed out. "And we have to meet few times!"
"Maybe we can each visit each one of us all together?" Rarity suggested.
"That sounds like a perfect idea!" Sunset and the rest agreed.
They continued to talk and smile until their trains arrived, each entered in theirs and they parted ways. They were sad school year was over but they knew they will see each other soon over summer. Twilight has never been happier. Even though her brother is back to Azkaban she found her family in her friends. She never knew she would fit in so well in one place and find so many people she loves. She has friends for life and is back together with her girlfriend. They have been through a lot over the last 2 years and their relationships only grew stronger. They are ready to put crystals to good use. All of them excited to spend some peaceful time with each other.
