Izzy woke up earlie in the morning. Sunny still ontop of her sleeping peacefully, "she's so cute when she's sleeping!" Wispered Izzy. She still couldn't believe that she was going on her first date today, with a perfect mare like Sunny no less. Izzy kissed Sunny on her forehead. "I'm so so happy I met you!" Izzy whispered a smile spread across Sunny's face as she rolled over.
Izzy went to the bathroom to get ready for the day she couldn't wait for the night to come. She already asked Pipp to help pretty her up, and Izzy had already got herself a fancy suit again with the help Pipp.
After Izzy was done she went downstairs to the kitchen to suprise Sunny with breakfast-in-bed. She made the best breakfast she had ever made. Sunny woke up to the smell of delicious food being made, and the sounds of a giddy Izzy giggling and humming tunes. Sunny couldn't help but smile at this. Sunny's smile grew thinking about the date that she will go on today.
Not even minute later Izzy had been at the bedroom door levatating a tray with her horn. Sunny loved that lovely levader hue Izzy's horn gloes with.
"Wakey wakey my beautiful Sunshine!" Izzy said as she opened the door Sunny could hear the love and affection radiating from her voice. "Goodmorning darling!" Sunny replied her smile grew.
"Oh, you're already awake, well I made suprise breakfast for you Sunshine!" Izzy set down on their bed levatating the tray on Sunny's lap. "Aww, you shouldn't have. And you made all my favorites." Sunny started blushing "Pancakes, hay-bacons, orange juice with apples classic." Izzy said. "So how did I do, I tried following your dad's recipe down to the last detail!" Izzy looked proud. "Mmmh Cinnamon-bun this is better than how I make it, my dad would be proud of you!" "Awwh shucks, thanks Sunny-bun!"
After Sunny ate breakfast she also went and got ready for the day. "Bye Cinnamon-bun can't wait for tonight!" Sunny kissed Izzy on her forehead under her horn "Me too, see you at my cottage, Sunshine!" Sunny went to the smoothie cart doing her job. Izzy a little later went to Mane Melody. Pipp let Izzy thru the back door. Beacuase they wanted to suprise Sunny for the date. So that Sunny doesn't notice Izzy going to Mane Melody and thus spoiling the suprise they came up with the back door solution.
"Heeey Izz, come right in!" "Hi, Pipp! Thanks for your help! I reeally appreciate it!" "Ofcourse Izz, I already helped Sunny a lot with advice and stuff and now it's your turn." Pipp said Izzy just giggled a bit, Sunny told her already how much Pipp's dating advice helped her.
"Anyways sit down what were you considering for the date?" Asked Pipp. "Oh, just some light make-up , you know something that goes with the suit." Izzy replied her tone got a bit shy. "Hey, I get it, let me get Jazz." Pipp went to the door. "Oh, no you don't ne-"Pipp cut her off. "Don't worry it isn't that busy of day, Rocky can handle it." Before Izzy could say anything Pipp already called Jazz. She hurried in. "Hi Izzy, congrats to you and Sunny!" "Hi Jazz! Thank you!" Izzy smiled.
"Anyways Jazz could help us figure out light make-up for this suit?" Pipp opened the closet where Izzy and Pipp hid the suit, so Sunny wouldn't accidentally stumble on it.
"Oooh absolutely gorgeous I've got an idea." Pipp and Jazz worked their magic and under an hour or two and 'voila done.
"So, what do you think?" Asked Jazz and Pipp in tandem. Izzy looked in the mirror. "It's... it's absolutely gorgeous! You two are the best make-up artists I know!" Izzy got up and hugged the two mares. They got Izzy carefully dressed in her suit.
"Thanks you two! So, how much do I have to pay?" Izzy asked. "Oh no no, this ones on us don't worry Izz. All I ask for return is that you tell me everything that happens on the date!" "Thanks Pipp, you got it!" Pipp hugged Izzy, Jazz and Izzy exchanged goodbyes, and Pipp helped Izzy sneek out the Mane Mellody back to the fixed Lighthouse.
"Okay let me pick up the picnic basket, and then I'll get to Briddlewood. Thanks for all the help!" Izzy beamed. "Absolutely, no problem Izzy!" Izzy let Pipp in, offered a glass of water which Pipp gladly excepted. Pipp washed the glass and Izzy came back with picnic basket full of food. They went outside and Izzy closed the door.
"Again, thanks for everything bye Pipp!" Izzy hugged Pipp Pipp hugged back. "Don't worry about it, just tell me everything on date Kay?" Izzy nodded "Bye Izz!" "Bye Pipp!" Pipp and Izzy went on their separate ways. Pipp back to Mane Mellody, Izzy to Briddlewood.
Pipp noticed Sunny packing the smoothie cart up in a beautiful dress.
"Hey Sunny what's the occasion?" Pipp sarcastically asked. Sunny just chuckled. "Oh come on, like you don't know." "Yeah, yeah I know but when did you have time to get dressed up and got your make-up done?" Pipp looked curios.
"I asked you a week ago if you have time to help me get ready for the date, but you said a very important customer will come today and then you winked at me. Though it was sad I booked an appointment with Rocky so I closed shop early. But how come you're out here?" Sunny asked. "Oooh thankfully I finished a few minutes early and I decided to talk, to you since your date is coming up." Pipp made that up on the spot. "Oh, okay hey thanks I really need your advice, that's also the reason why I was bummed you couldn't give an appointment. " Sunny blushed in excitement. "Ofcourse what's up?" Pipp asked wormly. "Ok, thanks so what if I ruin the date? What if I do something stupid? You know like when I kissed Izzy on the cheek out of nowhere!"
"Sunny, just act like yourself, trust me everything will work out, and last time I heard from the both of you that stupid little kiss acually got you together didn't it?"
"Riiiight, right you know what I'm gonna do amazing! Thanks Pipp I don't know what I would do without your advice!"
"No problem, now get goin' you have a date to make it to!"
"Yeah, thanks! Bye Pipp!" "Bye Sunny!" Pipp and Sunny waved to eachother. As Sunny hurried to Briddlewood.
Sunny walked to the lovely cottage, as Sunny made it closer to the cottage her started thumping harder with each step.
She made it to the door. Sunny raised her shakey hoof to knock on Izzy's door.
*knock* *knock* "Sunny! My Sunshine has arrived!" Sunny could hear Izzy's muffled yelling thru the door she blushed hard. Izzy quickly opened door, almost like she's ripping it off. Before Sunny could even react Izzy pulled her in a bearhug, like the one Izzy pulled Sunny in after their first kiss on cheek. "Hey Cinnamon-bun! I missed you!" "Ooh I can't tell you how much I missed you!" Izzy put Sunny down, and just started admiring the beauty of her marefriend. "Wow... Sunshine... you're so beautiful!" "T-thanks you are also really really handsome Cinnamon-bun." Both of them giggled as both of their faces flushed red.
"W-well come on let's get going I have the picnic basket, or we could just stand here and admire eachother!" Izzy grabbed Sunny's hoof while levatating the basket.
"Yeah but you still haven't told me where we're going, or anything accept that it's a date!" Sunny chuckled as Izzy and her started walking.
"Yeah, but you already pried out me asking you out earlier then I wanted to, so the rest is a suprise!" Izzy giggled. They walked a bit to a side of the forest Sunny has never been to. Sunny looked around it was getting a bit dark since it was definitely getting in to the early hours of the night. "Izzy this is beautiful, but it's getting dark and all we have are our phones." Izzy smiled as she lowered her head to one of the flowers. As Izzy's horn touched the flower it and the other flower lit up after eachother.
Sunny mouth dropped in amezment. "Izzy... just wow... this is beautiful... I've never seen anything like this!" "You like it? It's the special Lumabloom that happens every moon season. I thou-" Sunny went and kissed her marefriend cutting Izzy off.
"I love it, and I love you!" Sunny whispered hugging Izzy holding onto her tightly.
"I love you too! Oh, I forgot to tell you we can't be loud, there's an urban legend that there are these little ghosts named the trogels and they still your voice and stuff. You already know my stance on Briddlewood's wierd taboo's but I just wanna stay safe 'y know." Izzy explained
"Okay stay reasonably quiet got it!" Sunny chuckled. Izzy unpacked the picnic basket, that was full of delicious food and drinks. She laid the picnic blanket down and gestured to Sunny to sit down. They set down next to eachother.
Sunny shuddered a bit Izzy noticed this and took the suit off and put it on Sunny's back. "Thanks Cinnamon-bun! But aren't you going to be cold?" Sunny look at her marefriend. "Aw no, I'm fine don't worry Sunshine!" Izzy kissed Sunny on the cheek.
They started eating and cuddling up against eachother. "I can't tell you how much I love you Izzy, I'm so so happy
That I met you." "Awwwh I love too very much Sunny!"
"Hey Izz, do want to talk about the stars me and my dad always learned about them together, you're family now after all!" Izzy smiled tearing up a bit. "Thanks I love you, you're my family too!" Sunny snuggled closer her marefriend closer as she searched for constellation "Look at that one there!" Sunny pointed with her free hoof. "We call that one Starswirl the bearded! My did diging on Starswirl, created the Elements of harmony!" "Those are the necklaces Twilight and friends used to save Equestria multiple times right?" Asked Izzy.
"Yes!" Sunny sighed. "But unfortunately dad has been unable to find them. He went many expeditions to search for them."
"Maybe we could search for them on our own sometime who knows what the future holds." Sunny said looking up to the sky. "Yeah... all I know is ai want to spend my future with you... forever." Izzy whispered as she layer down on Sunny's lap. A smile spread across Sunny's face as she ran her hoof through Izzy's sapphire mane. "Yeah me too, darling!" Sunny whispered back.
"Wait a second... Rarity the Element of generosity always called everypony darling right?" Izzy chuckled. "Yeah, I kinda took it... since I thought it would be a cute pet name for you!" They both giggled.
"Hey you wanna take a picture for Pipp?" Asked Izzy. "Yeah sure, she asked me tell her what happened on the for a week now!" Sunny replied. "She also asked me since I asked you out, even today!"
Izzy hoofed Sunny her phone they took a photo of Izzy laying on Sunny's lap, and then she Sunny grabbed Izzy by her shirt and kissed her that took Izzy a bit by suprise. Then Sunny took another picture.
"Hehehe... you're good at surprising me!" They chuckled together again. "Come on let's pack up we have to get going it's getting late!" Yeah they packed away the stuff they brung and started walking together Sunny held Izzy's hoof she snuggled up to her. "This was the best date ever!" She whispered. "I agree, I'm glad that you're happy!" Izzy kissed the top of Sunny's head.
The two happily walked home together got ready for bed and snuggled up against eachother. "Goodnight Sunshine I love you!" "I love you Izzy goodnight!"
