FimFiction Feghoot Festival: Let's Meet the Editors!
so, i want your guys' opinion, i need to get better at writing, so while i am still open to proofreading requests, i'd like to get some input on where i take things from here.
should i
A) continue Corruption is Inevitable
B) try to start Fall of Chaos
or C) attempt to come up with a whoooooole new story altogether?
I'm going to try and get in contact with Zubafa again but in the event that I can't who would be interested in becoming an editor and/or proofreader for WYTAB?
I don't have a set schedule for when I write but I'll get back to yyou. If you're interested send me a message and if possible any information on what you've proof read or edited.
Ciao
I haven't done this in a while. How does it work again?
Oh, right. A foreword or something to get your attention. Well, I've been working on the upcoming chapter for mlaabq, if a bit idly. I have been turning it around in my head for quite a while, and I think that's an important part of the process, at least for me. So, you know, still working on it, but it's not ready yet, and it could take a while if I'm gonna write two or three shorter chapters in addition to chapter 23.
Need backup proofreader for The Warrior From Azeroth in the event the first is unavailable.
i am new to proofreading/editing, if that isn't a problem i am your person.
just ask me whenever you need help with something.
I will help, as long as i can, and the story fits my skillset. (probably)
sincerely, Ligh.
I finally have found a proofreader, HURRAY
AuRons Clutch
his name :D
The next chapter may take one or two more days to come, but I am confident it will be worth waiting for.
We are now systematically going through my already released chapters and well... correcting and editing stuff, this all will take some time, but its Christmas and therefore I am confident we will get a hang of it...
There's something I've noticed turning up a lot more lately than I used to. Lots and lots of authors have capitalization errors in dialogue tags when the quotation ends in a question mark or exclamation mark. Now, some authors have this problem anyway, but the upsurge I've seen recently is for authors who normally get it right. The errors only occur for dialogue ending in a question mark or exclamation mark.
They'll get this right:
"Hey," he said.
Hello subscribers. Anarchy here!
So, I've been having a couple of new ideas lately! Since it's the Hallow's Month, I thought I'd start of a bit... darker. Aside from InFamous and Rebooted MOE, I'm doing my first dark/sad/adventure fic. There will be some comic scenes, but no comedy tag. This stuff is supposed to make your heart twist as you read... If I do it right. If you know and love Code Lyoko, you'll enjoy this.
Hi, guys, I'd like to apologise in advance as the school year has started, my proofreader is extremely busy. So I request you to be patient. The chapters are coming, I have another two already written, but I need my proofreader to go over them before I publish them. Thank you for your patience.
any willing pony who wants to proofread is welcomed thank you.
Hey guys. Just a short thing:
I have a draft completed for the second chapter of Eerie Lantern. I'm going to kick it around for a few days-- y'know, for the usual editing, but also in case any more ideas strike me to make it more entertaining. Once I feel I can get it to an acceptable level of polish, I'll post. Preferably between Monday and Wednesday, early.
Hey, True Believers!
If you're like me, you can read your work 1,000 times and think you got all the kinks (not sexual) out. You post it and then someone replies with a litany of your mistakes.
A lot of time they think that you should write in the "King's English", not taking into consideration that you may be expressing a dialect or colloquialism. Or worse (gasp), you meant it to sound that way. Lighten up, this is neither an English Term Paper or great literature.
I guess you could consider this an update as I'm looking for a proofreader/editor for the sequel that I have written for this tale:
Not sure if there's anyone here who either is a proofreader/editor or knows someone who is, but I figured I'd try.
Hello everyone! After a few years of writing, I thought it was about time I threw this out there. I would appreciate it so much if I could get a dear soul such as one of you, my fellow authors and readers to proofread and help me edit my stories. Any of my friends I know in person are much too busy and have too much going on to find the time to help with this. If anyone is interested, please by all means feel free to get a hold of me preferably by PM. I would be so eternally grateful to
I'm looking for a proofreader any suggestions
or if your willing to do it
first come first serve
Yo I'm just a beginning writer here, so I was wondering if anypony *cough* could help me like proofread my fics? You know, make sure the spacing, spelling, terms in and whatnot are considered newbie quality?
I do Wattpad tho, does that make me a credible writer?
Hey look ma, I made it!
Cue Panic! At The Disco song of the same name
I had the honor and privilege to work as a pre-reader and editor for Applezombi's new fic, Rekindled Embers: Mercury's Journal!
Progress is going well on the new fic! I already have one proofreader but a couple others might be helpful. Also, I need some good cover art for it, something that has Gilda, Lightning Dust, and Trixie in the same picture. Might have to commission something, but if anyone finds something that might work, let me know!
