Hiatus For Now: Phoenix and OHS Both · 5:46pm February 29th
Hello my lovely readers,
Hello my lovely readers,
Hello my lovely readers. I'm sure you've been waiting for the next Phoenix, as well as other things from me.
Hello my lovelies. If you've not already seen, Star Trek: Phoenix has released its latest full chapter, episode 7 for season 3, "Under the Sea." As you might surmise, it involves hippogriffs, and was a huge ton of fun to write.
But more importantly, Phoenix has just surpassed Danganronpa: In Harmony's Wake as my longest fic! I fully expected that it would, but this is quite the accomplishment. And we've a long way to go yet before Phoenix is complete.
Hello, my lovelies. If you've not yet seen it, we have an interlude up for Star Trek: Phoenix written by my editor, Vic Fontaine. It features a couple of characters we haven't seen for a long while.
Hello, my lovely readers. How you all doing?
Hello, my lovely readers! I have a delightful surprise for you.
So, for those who either missed the update or missed the addition of the link, I wish to let you know that Sunset's Isekai published its Star Trek: Phoenix chapter last week, which can be accessed and read here: https://www.fimfiction.net/story/441859/101/sunsets-isekai/breather-star-trek-phoenix
For those who may feel that they would rather not read a chapter outside of the main story, rest assured that any necessary information will be conveyed in future chapters.
Hello, my lovely readers. Just a quick update, yes, I know it's been a while since the last update, it is still being worked on, but there have been some things getting in the way. Nothing I can be specific about, but just please rest assured that more is still coming, it's just going to take a while, and I wanted to let you all know so you had something to go on. That said, there is going to be a special surprise relating to Phoenix that will hopefully show itself relatively
Hello my lovely readers. First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for being incredible, amazing people who've been supporting me and my stories for a long time, for some of you since I first started posting IHW back in October of 2020. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Note: If you just want the skinny, skip to the TLDR.
Hello, my lovely readers. This blog post concerns Phoenix only tangentially, but it does get discussed as part of the overall subject. This post also gets into a lot of personal emotions of mine, and discusses a bit of family history.
BE WARNED
Unmarked spoilers from Star Trek: Picard Season Three Episode 9 "Vox" follow the page break.
Hello, all! I am so glad you've been enjoying the return of Phoenix, despite the occasional delay since the first part published back at the end of the year. Apologies for this; Phoenix, unlike my other longform story, didn't have a real buffer established when we resumed, owing to personal health reasons. I am slowly beginning to change this, and with any luck if I can keep it up I should be able to maintain a proper posting schedule with zero delays.
Hello, my lovely readers. I just wanted to extend an apology for the delay in publishing of the next chapter of Star Trek: Phoenix, as health, as always, has been an issue in its delay. That said, the chapter is finished, we're just going through some final editing, and we hope to be done within the next couple of days. We may move back to Mondays for the posting date, so that SDR2 and Phoenix don't share the same day for posting.
Dewdrops on the Grass will be proud to present not one, but two long form stories!
First...
Even as I stood I kept my gaze steady on her, sharp pain biting into my heart like a set of fanged jaws. “Amelia, I’m sorry it was my magic–”
“Thank you, Ensign, that will be all,” she cut me off sharply.
You've watched.
“Good. We’ll want to do the same on the Enterprise, then,” he said. “Last thing we need is a warp core breach.”
Hello my lovely readers and followers, friends and others. Been a while since I've checked in. It's time for a status update.
Hello my lovely readers. I know it's been a little while since you've heard from me, and not much has been said.
Some of you may have seen this already, as it has been floating around Twitter and Derpibooru, but Grand Moff Pony commissioned a piece of fanart for Star Trek Phoenix! It is specifically dated as during the events of episode 6 of season 1: Sunset has switched over to the Generations uniform, but the actual events of Generations has yet to take place.
Hello my lovely readers. I have an announcement, and it is one I make with a heavy heart.
Hello my lovely readers. It’s that time again for another episode.
This one took a while to develop, longer than I would have expected. Yet once I started writing it I was able to finish it pretty quickly. A couple of things.
Yes, the title does reference the song from Kingdom Hearts. This was considered better, so to speak, than the working title, which was: “Nechayev is a Bitch.”
Hello once more, my lovely readers. Thank you very much for your patience in awaiting this one.
Since we knew this one would take a little while, we decided to use it as a form of recapping in addition to telling its own little story. This one had several rewrites involved, including a complete rework from top to bottom at one point. Writing the parents isn’t as easy when their favorite daughters aren’t around.
Little bit of spoilers.
Hello my lovely readers. Today’s Mini Episode 7, Space Race.
This one’s a little bit different. As a direct follow up to the previous one, it takes a bit more of a dramatic tack. But I think many of you will like the results.
A few production spoilers:
