Spike helps Fleur and Sweetie Drops stop a swarm of parasites that’s been eating up Appleloosa’s apples. On the way home, Spike hitches a ride with Rarity and Pinkie Pie near the end.

Spike helps Sweetie Drops with her date with Lyra Heartstring. Conveniently, he happens to be having a date with Rarity in the area.

Spike, Fleur, and Sweetie Drops help Cranky Doodle Donkey rescue Steven Magnet from the changelings.

A dangerous criminal is planning to open the gates of Tartarus and set the monsters, and Equestria’s worst criminals loose.

Spike, Fleur, and Sweetie Drops must recover a super secret, and powerful recipe that was stolen.

There’s more going on to the story than what was seen on TV. And Spike knows it.

The planet Equus will be inhospitable in just a few short years. All the creatures on it are preparing to leave for greener pastures. All, that is, except Spitfire.

This fiction is canon compliant. It takes place several years after "The Last Problem".

An entry into Science Fiction Contest III. This fiction is (nearly!) complete and consists of five chapters. Chapters will be released daily.

One fateful day something so unnatural happens in Ponyville that even the Princess' are absolutely dumbfounded. This event marks the day that Fluffle Puff appears.

"On behalf of Management, the following contract bestows upon The Company the indelible right to prospect Eqqus in its entirety, granting you the role of an intermediary between Deep Rock Galactic, and planetary governmental bodies.

In return, DRG offers its technological support, coupled with monetary compensation equal to any complications that may, or may not, occur as a result of our ongoing operations.

Management discourages investigation and/or disruption of our planetary operations, which may, or may not, result in bodily injury and/or death of interlopers."

Delving back through the depths of time, mysteries abound, uncovering the veiled origins of everything we think we know. Journey back to a world before Equestria was founded, before the dark forest of Everfree blighted the land.

What shaped the land of ponies all those millennia ago? This is a tale of love turned to jealousy and then hate. Of sacrifice and vengeance. Of pain and desperation in the face of overwhelming power. Was all of it justified? You be the judge.

Lingering questions demand answers: What compelled the forging of the Elements of Harmony? Why have the ponies of Equestria been kept oblivious to their own ancient past? What dark secrets were too terrible to be passed down through the generations? What truly corrupted Sombra and led to Luna's tragic fall from grace? Most importantly, who set all of this in motion, and is everypony safe from it happening again?

Thanks to everyone I've worked on the lore of the saga with over the years.

The past can be a tricky thing. There may be pieces of it that you wish you could erase, or others you desperately want to relive just one more time. In the end, all you can do is move forward.

Because while the past is written in stone, immovable and irreplaceable, the future is being shaped like puddy. And before it dries, you'll have time to leave your mark.
