//------------------------------// // (Edited) Preparation // Story: CHAOTIC Warrior (Displaced) // by Upper moon 7 //------------------------------// Ch 2 Twilight’s POV. As we rode on the pegasus-drawn carriage, my number one assistant Spike read the letter given to us by the Princess. Spike is a dragon with purple scales and a green underbelly and spikes going from on top of his head to almost the tip of his spade tail with emerald green eyes. “My dear Twilight, there is more to a young pony's life than studying, so I'm sending you to supervise the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration in this year's location: Ponyville. And, I have an even more essential task for you to complete: make some friends!’ As Spike finished reading the letter I let out a loud groan. "Look on the bright side, Twilight! The Princess arranged for you to stay in a library. Doesn't that make you happy?" Spike said. I could tell he was trying to cheer me up and to an extent it did a little. "Are you still paranoid about what happened two days ago?" "Yes, but not only that, but the old prophecy that Nightmare Moon would return to plunge the world into eternal night on the Thousandth Summer Sun Celebration, which happens to be tomorrow!" Two days ago something had been going on in the forest near Ponyville, it was causing some major disturbance. Princess Celestia and surprisingly Spike, felt a strong and  unfamiliar energy coming from there. “I tried to convince Princess Celestia to allow me to investigate the weird energy, but she denied it, telling me that the energy was coming from the most dangerous forest in all Equestria. Initially I immediately dropped the idea and went back to study but the idea of a new type of magic has kept me from concentrating on my studies. Not long after I also found an old prophecy that Nightmare Moon would return.” “Relax Twilight, maybe Princess Celestia is right? Maybe it is just an old pony’s tale, but you can't forget why we are here. We’re supposed to check up on the preparation of the festival and she also said you're supposed to make some friends while we’re there." Spike said, putting the letter down and looking forward. In the distance he could see the location where this year's summer sun celebration would be held, Ponyville. "I only hope the princess was right...I hope it only really is an old pony's tale." I said as we landed and began our mission. POV change Fredbear "TORRENT OF FLAME!!" Yelling as I blasted a large stone target with a blast of fire. Breathing heavily, my furry body was all covered in sweat as I sat down trying to regain my strength. It has been two days since I was taken from my own world and left here in the world of equis.  I've spent the last two days doing nothing but looking for food, gathering water, and training my body. Shelter was not a problem as the abandoned Castle of the Two Sisters makes the perfect home. It didn't take me long to find the place as I was really close to it. The real problem was finding a room that was clean or in good condition. After spending an hour or two looking I found a good room that wasn't damaged or covered with rubble. I cleaned it up the best I could before getting into the bed and sleeping. After that, some breakfast and then training and sleeping. It had been like that for the past two days. I was curious about the Mugic, but after some thinking I decided not to as I went back to training. I had to be ready to fight anything so I practiced hand to hand, with my sword, and my OC's attacks.  I had managed to get a decent grasp on my abilities but I needed more training and practice. Sighing and taking a break I began to explore the castle. I had nothing to do other than train so might as well have some fun and explore. Going down to the lower levels of the castle I found a library filled with dusty and old books. Going deeper and down the halls I had found some old rooms and a dungeon.  "Dam...the place is so old everything is rusted, broken, or useless." I told myself, exploring more until I found a large metal door. Curiosity got the best of me and I spent a large amount of time trying to open it up. But finally after many attacks, strikes, a bit of begging and one final power pulse I managed to break the door. When the door fell to the ground and I got a good look at the room I realized why the door was so strong: it was the treasury. I rushed inside as I saw lots of golden coins, gems, golden and gem covered objects like a vase, dresser, a sword, and much more. Grabbing what I could I got out of there and rushed to my room. Once there I put what I took down on the floor. About 25 golden coins, a gem-covered sword, and more than a handful of gems. "It’s my fucking lucky day! If I was back home I would never have to work ever again."  I soon rushed down back to the vult as I grabbed the broken and damaged door off the ground and covered the vault the best I could. Don't want anyone coming to steal this stuff. Once I got back and looked out a broken window I saw that it was night time. I went over to my room and got back into bed to sleep and get some rest. *unknown location* Opening my eyes and looking around, seeing I was no longer inside the castle but some sort of cabin. To my right was a door that had a light constantly flickering on and off. Beside it was a safe, and to the left of the door was a bottle of green slime, a ram’s skull, and a small statue of a squirrel holding a knife. "Wait a minute this is…" before I could finish a candle was lit up in front of me. Leshy was sitting right in front of me with a smile on his face. "Welcome back Fredbear I see you have been spending your time wisely not like a few other displaced people have." He said Chuckling. Sighing and getting as comfortable as I could on the wooden seat I spoke, " I guess but in all honesty some of them were just thrown at Nightmare Moon, or within the distant past where they got stoned by the princess for one reason or another." Leshy was listening as he was grabbing a few boxes, "you do have a point." He said, grabbing the mask and putting it on. "Well time to trade!" Leshy said as he had put on the trader mask. "But...I don't have anything to trade…" I said blankly. "Look to your left…" and as I did I saw that the gold coins and valuables I brought to my room were here with me. "What the!?" "Hahaha...that's what most people say when I make trades and deals with them." Leshy said. I could tell he was smiling under the mask but I paid no mind to this as he soon put down 3 items. "But...but..how?" I questioned pointing to the money.  "I have to keep some of my secrets." He said before I took a look down at the 3 items he had placed in front of me. First item resembled some sort of jet-pack; it was colored orange and yellow and had three turbines.  "This battle gear, known as a Torwegg allows the wearer to fly increasing ones Speed and maneuverability." Leshy said, putting it down. The second object seemed to be some sort of gun with which I could probably hold in one hand. It had 2 blue orbs attached to it. As it was brown all over, "this is known as a Liquilizer. It is used by Creatures who have trouble performing effective Water type Attacks."  Pointing to the blue orbs of the Liquilizer, "It's small tank holds a huge amount of water in an ultra-compressed state and also draws moisture from the surrounding air, so its water supply is virtually inexhaustible."  I smiled at the battle gear as that would be very useful to me especially if I ever accidentally start a forest fire.  The last item got my attention as it looked like an old Greek lyre. "Behold the Mugician lyre! This battle gear's melodious notes are guaranteed to attract a spirit of the Mugician to you. Just play the instrument and let it do the work." He said before offering them to me. "I will give you these three for everything you have…" He said, holding out his hand for a shake to complete the deal. 'Each battle gear he offers will help me in the long run. The Torwegg will help out big time with speed and giving me air attacks, the Liquilizer will help me in the long run with water type attacks along if I ever start a fire, the mugician lyre is the only wild card.' "The first two I accept but the lyre I might have to drop…" "Why is that?" Leshy asked. "Well you have seen me and my training right? I don't even know how to use mugic." I said, scratching the back of my head. "Ah! Yes! That is and isn't a problem." He said putting his hands down. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. Leshy cleared his throat before speaking, "Nobody can teach you how to cast Mugic, it must be earned.'' Giving him a confused expression he continued, "the only reason the creatures from Perim can cast mugic, is because of the Mugician. They are not just energy or life energy similar to equestria. They are sentient and thinking spirits. They once lived in peace and harmony in Perim, until a conflict over the Cothica divided them into warring factions. Fighting and destroying one another. However, the spirits of the Mugicians still roam Perim and seek to inhabit the Creatures of the Tribes with whom they allied. Two dwell within you as we speak!" He said pointing to my chest. The moment he did my vision got blurry as I saw two glowing orbs moving around inside my chest. "Shit…I am running out of time." He said as he held out his hand, "Quickly shake my hand to finish the deal!"  A little hesitant, I shook his hand. The valuables by my side disappeared and so did the battle gear. My vision got more blurry as I tried to focus as Leahy's voice echoed in my head as if I was going through a tunnel, "You must talk with them, and persuade them into aiding you! meditate and…" before he could finish I opened my eyes to see that I was back inside my room inside the castle of the two sisters.  Rubbing my head and getting out of bed I faced the direction of where I left the valuables from the vault only to see that it was gone and replaced with battle gear. "It wasn't just a dream." I said to myself as when looking out the window to see the moon still out but this time the moon had an indentation of a pony and it was multi-colored blue, pink, green, and a few other colors I couldn't make out. "Today is the day!" I said as I began to stretch out my legs, arms, back, and my head. Once loosened up and ready I grabbed the battle gear leshy had sold me and rushed to the broken throne room. I looked at the battle gear with worry, putting all three down and strapping the Torwegg on me so it was on my back. I grabbed the Liquilizer and hid them behind the moon themed throne.  Holding the Mugician's Lyre in my hands I took a deep breath and played it. My fingers and claws gently being dragged across the strings of the lyre. The lyre in question began to glow and let off a white energy as it soon vanished as I felt a chill go up my spine. Dropping the Mugician's Lyre cracks began to form all over it until it broke apart into lots of pieces. Before I could pick it up the lyre soon glowed brightly before disappearing. "Shit!" Was all I could say. I wouldn't worry about it right now as I need to prepare. I got up and rushed back to the room I was staying in once inside I saw the chest full of Mugic and rushed over to it. I began to go through it and look around to see which one would be useful. "Let's see the Canon Of Casualty? Or Melody Of Malady? Maybe…" having to decide between so many different Mugic's was a difficult choice to make.  But after a few minutes of searching I found 3 mugics that would help turn the tide in my favor. Closing the chest and standing up and noticing the pot of benevolence in the corner of the room. Putting the 3 Mugic's in my pocket and grabbing the pot and my sword from the room I made my way back to the throne room. I hid the pot behind the sun themed throne and took a seat on the ground with my long yellow and orange great sword in front of me. 'Leshy said to meditate and try to convince the mugicians to help me.' Crossing my legs, clapping my hands together, and closing my eyes as I began to meditate. Waiting and meditating helped as I kept quiet and waited listening and being ready. After a few minutes I opened my eyes to see I was in some sort of black void. "WTF!?" I yelled looking around until I saw 3 orbs of light each colored red. Reaching out to them, they soon began to take shape and had a similar appearance to a ghost or phantom. The top of it's head dipped back, and it had long, sleeve-like hands that ended in four fingered hands. Its 'mouth' was pulled into a lipless frown, and its 'eyes' had no pupils, and seemed to merely be a shape similar to an eye.  I stayed quiet just looking at the Mugicians confused and not knowing what to say, "Umm…hi?" They said nothing to my response but just looked at me. "My name is Fredbear and I need your help. I am going to battle someone soon and I need to know if I can count on your help to aid me in this fight.'' I asked the Mugicians.  "Why should we help you?" One asked bluntly. The others crossed its arms with a frown. Closing my eyes to think before responding to them, "I am going to fight a very powerful opponent and I don't know if I will be able to beat her on my own. One thing is for sure, if I fail, thousands if not millions of innocent lives will be lost due to her plunging the world in eternal night." Reopening my eyes to look at the Mugicians. They said nothing as they looked at each other before suddenly all of them flew forward, flying into my chest.  I opened my eyes and saw that I was back in the castle throne room. My right hand was pressed against my chest as I felt warmth coming from it. I clenched my fists as my bear ears flickered around. "Who are you!?" I heard a female voice speak. Her voice was as cold as ice as the aura she was giving off showed she was quite powerful. Looking up to get a good look at her, Nightmare Moon was almost as tall as me. She was an anthro amazon tall as she was round seven ft tall, not counting her large one foot long horn on her forehead. She wore a skirt that was showing off her muscular legs; it might as well have been a long loincloth. The armor she wore was skimpy and showed off a lot of her body but most of the armor was on her massive breasts. They had to be size G at the very least. Midnight black was the color of her fur, her eyes a piercing ice blue. Her mane sparkled like a clear night sky full of stars, she was stunning.  After getting a good look at her body I smiled and spoke, "You wish to know who I am, Nightmare Moon?" She smiled and nodded, probably happy that someone remembered who she was.  "My name is Fredbear, a powerful warrior of the Underworlders!" I said with a wicked smile as I stood up to my full height, surprising Nightmare Moon with how tall I was. " But you may also know me as your judge, jury, and executioner!!" End chapter 2.
