//------------------------------// // Chapter 3 // Story: My Little Warriors Starclan Is Magic // by Griffin532 //------------------------------// Dash stared at the tom who had just appeared out of nowhere. He was a gray tabby with a sleek coat and blue cloudy eyes. Dash guessed that he was blind, but if he managed to sniff out where she was. ''He must have good senses'' Dash thought '' Like most disabled ponies'' '' Like I said before''. the tom said his tail lashing in annoyance '' What are you doing laying on the floor!'' Dash looked nervously up at the cat before uttering '' W- well um I kind of fell over since Im really tired from walking and the floor felt so comfy so I thought i would lay down.'' She turned to her friends to see if they could provide additional help to what she was saying, but they only stared. '' Wow great way for sticking up to me!'' Dash thought in annoyance. The cat sighed and looked over to her '' Im sorry I snapped at you.My name is Jayfeather your medicine cat.'' He paused for a second before pointing to a spot on the ground with his tail '' Now sit down while I tend to your wounds.'' Dash sat down on the spot on the ground feeling relief wash over to her as she relaxed her body by sitting. '' Briarlight !'' Jayfeather yelled across the cave to a brown lump of fur that Dash hadn't seen before drag itself over to the cat. '' Yes Jayfeather?'' the cat asked as she walked or dragged herself over. She was a small brown she cat with an elegant frame and pretty amber eyes, but behind her were legs that she could not stand on. The cat looked over at Dash and smiled '' Hi I'm Briarlight! I'm Jayfeather's assistant so if you need anything tell me!'' Briarlight turned over to Jayfeather and asked '' what do you need Jayfeather?'' Jayfeather angled his head towards her and smiled '' Briarlight I need some dock leaves for Rainbow dash's wounds can you grab some?'' Briarlight literally dragged herself as fast as she could to fulfill his wishes. A few moments later she was at his side and asking what he needed.
