I was going to do a simple "Hey, I'm writing again" blog post and talk a little bit about what got me back into writing. However, I then saw that my last blog post was literally that and I wrote it in 2016. Not only that but my last story update was in November of 2013. That's 8 years.
Since then, Generation 4 has ended. The world has changed. Things are different. I'm different.
So obviously we all know about the Dailymotion leaks by now. No links of course, but my God.
I'm so ready for Gen 5 to get here. This show has broken me. I'm just done with it. Why do these things happen? What is going on? And why is Hasbro's security so pathetic? What?
Not much to say on this episode, just dull and annoying. Rainbow and AJ regress their character development to Season 1, which Twilight even lampshades, the Tokens offer a couple quick quips but are pretty much accessories to a Rainbow and AJ episode, to the point where in the bridge building they stood still and watched as Rainbow and AJ worked. We're just watching AJ and Rainbow compete and be stubborn. But I agree with Rainbow, shed building is a lame field trip, it's more like a normal
A few months ago, I wrote an essay about consciousness, free will, and sapience in relation to the Mean Six. It prompted a pretty great discussion from everypony here.
I wanted to give you guys this post because for some reason...it sort of clicked in my head that there were some episodes of MLP: FiM’s eighth and ninth season that hold no mentioning or share a certain element of continuity with the other episodes of those seasons. I figured it’d be fun to show you guys what episodes I found that can very much be considered prequels to both those seasons and the movie.
…..So an MLP villain FINALLY gets punished for their actions? No bullshit sob story? Their actions actually have consequences?
Holy crap, either the MLP staff have finally gotten around to reading everyone's hate mail, or I'm in the Twilight Zone.
….Still, it kinda sends a mixed message, doncha think? "It's only ok to punish someone for acts of treason if they don't immediately apologize for what they did?"
