Well, shoot. Time to add another candle to the cake.
Today's my birthday. I had intended to post a story today, but someone helping me with it has pointed out a number of holes in it that need to be patched. So expect it by Friday, I guess.
I've got a couple other things in the works, but none of them have progressed far enough to announce. I will say, though, that one of them includes a particular fashionista that nobody likes (Spoiler: it's Suri).
Let's see...
Since I stopped drinking soda during the week and gone to the gym 2~3 times a week, I lost ten pounds in the past month. (I was 210 at the start of September, now I'm 195!)
I studied German every day last week.
I got all my weekend chores and whatnot done already, so now I have a lot of time for writing/drawing.
I've been getting better at saving my money and almost have my emergency fund saved up.
Never expect to write anything everyone will love, you'll only have regrets.
Be like Tact, write shit for the sole purpose of writing shit. Won't feel a thing and you'll have a much more fun time doing it.
Anyway, now that that stain on the community is over with. After work today, it's time to put in some more words to the fandom's worst greatest mistake.

I intended on uploading a story for Halloween, but because it didn't pass moderation (my own fault, cause I wanted to be a fancy dumbass) I had to fix the discrepancy and re-submit it. It just recently uploaded, and no one will ever see it... whatever, though. I just wanted it done. It's been in my "unsubmitted" section for such a long time, and I've always wanted to get it done, but never had the right motivation or drive.
Okay, I'm very much psyched about how impressive the movie looks based on the trailer. Having said that, there's something I have to say after the break. (Mild spoilers for MLP movie trailer and the story if you haven't caught up yet ahead...)
Psst! I just sent the next chapter of The Iron Horse to the editing team. Expect it Wednesday. I think it'll be worth the wait. 
Oh, and, uh, sorry it got so delayed. 
As I approach the weekend, it's time to give a quick update on things. By this time next week, I'll be on the road headed back to Texas. I'm moving for the fourth time in four years (a fact that aggravates me more than almost anything else), which of course means I will not be available until I find a place to stay. To that end, I'm saving most of my current projects - FMP, Switcharootaloo, and Locals - to my Drive folders so I can at least study them while in the passenger seat.
Is that only half of it is actual mowing; the other half is finding creative solutions to obnoxious problems, such as low-hanging tree branches, dog poo, bugs, dog poo, intense daytime heat/humidity, dog poo, unrealistic deadlines, and dog poo.
On that note, I'm not wearing my shoes indoors until I've put them through HAZMAT-level decontamination procedures.

A few days ago, I snuck out of the house while my parents were gone. My mom found out the next fucking day. 
She didn't get mad but I think she's going to take away the keys next time she leaves for a long period of time. I'm going to volunteer at a camp in a couple of weeks and this girl with a huge crush on me is going, too. I just hope we don't have to share a room.

A friend has brought my attention to a very interesting project: Sombra-, Discord-, and Nightmare Rarity-themed zip-up hoodies. I find myself tickled by the idea of a hooded sweatshirt with an ermine cape and intend to support it. Here's the preorder form
OK, first of all, I have a new fic being currently proofread by a friend. Aside from that I... was... just working with the third episode of a flurry of heart, and Then my superior came around. I'll have to go to another department and help some fellas with SAP for a couple of weeks, which means more work, less time for writing, and getting back home at 8 to 9 PM (or worse).
So... that's it, I hope it doesn't bother any of you who are currently tracking my projects.
So I just wanna say I lot of respect for people on this site who write despite working full time and having a life.
Because man I WANNA WRITE!!!
But I gotta sleep and get up soon like a responsible adult~
