Everyone was upset that Equestria Girls didn't get a good ending. They wanted another season of Equestria Girls. However, it never happen and G5 of My Little Pony is upon us. If Hasbro doesn't make a third season Equestria Girls, we may never see it at all and in the words of Sonic The Hedgehog That's No Good.
So you wish Hasbro to make third Equestria Girls and want to know what would be a good episode for season three, let me know in the commits section.
I started to read Hairy Konquerer's take on the classic Transformers movie from 1986. So, I decided to write my own take. My story is a MLP twist on the original story.
Because all the cool kids are doing it!
I'll start off by saying this: I wasn't really planning on watching Equestria Girls. Since I'm not American, or even British, the chances of ever getting the movie in theaters here in original language are completely nonexistent, and I thought, if I'd see it, I do want to pay for it.
It's okay, I guess. It's no Rainbow Rocks, either in story or music, but like I say -- it's okay.
Though could people please learn about fitting words to music properly?
So, I recently started a story called The Worst of All Possible Worlds. It's a story where Sunset Shimmer returns to Equestria to get a new journal and accidentally ends up in the crossfire between Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer during the Season 5 finale.
Well, just as it so happens to be, there's a few Equestria Girls Specials coming out later this year. The third episode has exactly the same premise without the Season 5 finale part.
Here's the description from IMDB:
Quite a few things, actually.
Warning: Spoilers abound. Proceed with caution.
Yep, I just got back from seeing the latest Equestria Girls movie. Reviewing stuff is not really my thing, and of course, I don't want to spoil too much stuff for people who didn't see it. But by golly, I can't stay silent about this. So, going back to my initial question: What Rocks about Rainbow Rocks?
1. The Story
So, I saw the first 10 minutes of “Rollercoaster of Friendship” yesterday, and I’m so confused. Rarity and Applejack were acting unusually chummy with each other. I mean, the special seems to be building up on the idea of the two of them being best friends.
I mean, I don’t object to the idea of them being best friends. It’s just that none of their interactions prior to this special strongly support that idea.
So, I guess, Hasbro is still going through with this...
Well, now that "Spring Breakdown" has come and gone I think it's time to update this list, largely for the sake of explaining where the new special ends up. As always this list is purely the result of my personal opinion so please respect it, and remember that it is not official by any means.
10. Rollercoaster of Friendship
Man, back in the early days of the Fandom, it was easy. You had the one season to keep track of, and maybe like a couple of fan-memes on top of that. These days? Nine seasons, hundreds of episodes, a couple of comic series, a legit theatrical movie, and a growing number of various shorts that are being released in a variety of hard to keep track of ways.
Which is why it can be easy sometimes to miss things like, uh ... this.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this new song and the music video that came with it. Oh, my goodness! Spoilers ahead, so beware.
I love Sci-Twi, but this was me during the short...
... then she talks about the statue of Starswirl
... then we go back to this...
... and then we see this @ the end...
Theres a topic I've seen a lot of analysts and youtubers mention when they discuss Equestria Girls, and that is the ages of our mane cast. I'll admit, it is odd for characters who live alone and have jobs and are considered adults in the show to be in highschool in the movies. I have a theory though. I think that it has to do with the different cultures.
I'm excited, are you excited?! AH, I'VE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED!!
I got it set to record on DVR tomorrow. I can't wait to see it!
Hey everyone. No real earthshattering news or updates to report. Been trying to get the motivation back to resuming writing.
I've also been playing a lot of Mortal Kombat 11 again over the past few weeks. It's a good (if dark) way to blow off some stress, now and again.
A while ago, on one of the forums, I saw a post about hypothetical fight banter between the Mortal Kombat characters and characters from Equestria Girls.
(...Yes, I know. Just roll with it, please.)
Spoilers popping up everywhere.
On first watch I liked this less than Rainbow Rocks, but on seeing some reactions and further viewings I have come to enjoy some of the implications that this movie brings up more. The plot and pacing still aren't at the same level as in Rainbow Rocks, but the character development for those characters on whom there is focus, as well as the animation and effects, are superb.
