hey everyone I have a question for you all. Do you think season 6 is going from the exploration season they said it was going to be, to the starlight glimmer season, seeing how all but 3 episodes so far have been starlight based with the next one being a starlight episode to. So what do you think?
There seems to be a lot of people out there who don't like our newest addition to the mane cast, Starlight Glimmer, and I'm not entirely sure why...
I can hazard a guess that it's because she managed to go tow to toe with our beloved Alicorn Twilight, leading some to believe that she is in some way more powerful than she is, or at least was. Maybe that doesn't sit right with their image of Twilight, I don't know, like I say it's only a guess.
So, I was watching the newest episode today, and at one point Tree Hugger briefly appears. I won't go into detail if you haven't seen the episode yet.
But it made me stop and think. You know who would have an interesting interaction with Tree Hugger? Spoiler alert: It's in the title.
"I bet there's some sort of horrific monster behind it."
- Rainbow Dash, Element of Accidental Honesty
So, I'm going to assume that it was the harmonic magic inherent to heartsongs/spontaneous-and-not-quite-spontaneous musical outbreaks that took the creepy Orwellian subtext in "Our Town" and turned it into plain old text.
So, I was really enjoying the season 5 finale right up until the ending. And that ending got me thinking, and that thinking got me kind of annoyed.
How in the hay is Starlight Glimmer able to use magic that is equal to Twilight? Twilight froze an entire battle, but she couldn't overcome one unicorn? And when she and Starlight fight they both run out of juice at the same time?
I have had depression issues in the past, usually MLP is a way for me to find solaice and happiness. Lately thats not the case as Starlight Glimmer seems to just be an anchor around my neck, I feel like she is dragging this show down as all the effort in episodes is in ones focused on her, and she is displacing Twilight as the main character.
Today I would like to talk about a theory about the 7th element of harmony and the bearers in both the mlp world and the Equestria Girls world.
So first off I think the 7th element would represent redemption because on Sunset Shimmers character page on the equestria girls website it says that what she stands for is redemption. Its the same with the other characters as well like Applejack stands for Honesty, Pinkie Pie stands for laughter and so on.
I have finally finished the next chapter! I am just waiting for my editor to give it a once over and I will have it up and ready to go! "ABOUT TIME" *Flinch* Yeah sorry it took so long but between life and my muse's utter hate for me at times it took far longer than I had hoped to get this out.
Some of you may be wondering, what's "New Tricks" and what has brought this about?
Major spoilers up ahead, so... be warned.
The main villains currently. Ghetsis, Chrysalis, Adagio and Starlight Glimmer. Obviously one of them won't stay a villain forever.
Updated 3/23/2021 This is a name coined by fan DoContra for a interrelated series of stories written by ScifiPony. It comes from the title of the first story written in the Enforcerverse, The Enforcer and her Blackmailers. The story sets the tone for the
So I wrote another one. This one sorta expands on some Etherian traditions that are implied In the show and confirmed by the show runner and staff. Part of the same series I’ve been writing for a while now. I am apparently Catradora trash with no ambiguity now.
A Mad Glimmer and A Crazed Gleam aren't exactly my proudest works. Especially not Gleam, written partly as a way to come to terms with Starlight's reformation when it was hot off the press and partly because I legitimately didn't predict it when planning Glimmer. (It was Season 5; we were still a ways away from the likes of "Sweet and Smoky.") That said...
Just giving you an update. I am working alongside another user to release a new macro growth story. The basic outline of the story is done. (but it may need heavy edits) It's about 10k words plus long, as of right now. Starlight Glimmer is in it... she grows... totally insane. I never did a Starlight Glimmer story before. This is my first ever one.
Macro Starlight Glimmer is not the title of the story.
Cover.
So after being inactive for centuries, I Suddenly show up again with an interesting theory regarding Gen 5's mane villain, Opaline.
Now, Opaline has become something of a polarizing character for multiple Reasons, chief among them being the fact that she's the reason the tribes are at odds with each other in the new era.
So why not make it worse for her by connecting her to another polarizing character? XD
