Remember how Season 4’s finale has Tirek accusing Discord of being tamed by the ponies?
Yeah this is basically that: The Episode.

Welcome to a new blog series! Necessitated by me no longer having Discovery Family as a channel, I will be making an effort to rewatch episodes in the middle of the week, likely around the Tuesday/Wednesday period. And since I'm just watching on my own, I'll be more or less liveblogging reactions. Because if the first two episodes were anything to go by, there was a lot of stuff in there I didn't even come close to touching with my initial blog post.
Maud only two episodes in? Thank you!
I think it's official: I'm too old to be watching Equestria Girls.
In my defense, I think the show runners are, too. :B
I have no idea what these are (I think FOME or someone said they aired between the movies on Discovery Family or something?), but they happened, so let's take a look.
Yeah, it's another one of those EQG summer shorts. They kind of aren't worth blogging about singly, but I figure I can just throw the reviews out anywhere. In this case, alongside the thing I'm currently binge-listening to today:
Oh my god, you guys.
Holy shit!
Holy shit, you guys.
OH MY GOD
That was awesome! :D That was way more than I expected and everything I could have wanted! I think this is a reward for slogging through all those terrible (and not-so-terrible) summer shorts!
Just watched the season 8 premiere. I hadn't watched the trailer or read the episode summary so I came in blind. Initially, I was kind of surprised they did such a direct tie-in for the movie, but given the impact it had it makes sense. I liked that they brought in all the different creatures... But I was kind of puzzled they didn't bring in other creatures. I mean, in earlier seasons we've had buffalo, zebras, and donkeys! It just seems like if they wanted to be getting across the

Hello, Everybrony!
I made a promise to you all that I would only review episodes I deemed worthy so I could focus on my stories. The story I’ve been preparing for you is still being edited, and I know the little ditty I posted on a whim is not what you’re looking for from me. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help but review this episode!
Part 1: Plot
Soarin': Where were you at midnight?
Rainbow Dash: I was asleep! I was having this totally awesome dream! You were in it.... and Spitfire... and Fleetfoot... and Rarity...
[Wonderbolts exchange nervous glances]
Rainbow: And Windrider.. and Celestia... and Luna... and Sweetie Belle...
Soarin': Uh...
Rainbow: [drools slightly] I-I'm gonna go use the bathroom for a few hours...
Sassy: If we have a FAMOUS pony showcasing the dresses, it'll be a hit! That's why I've chosen Twilight to be the model for the grand opening!
Rainbow: Hey, wait! We've all saved Equestria like, five times! We're all pretty famous.
Sassy: Yes, but you're not Princesses; The elite of Canterlot could care less about filthy commoners who've just happened to be next to Twilight Sparkle when she's defeated Equestria's enemies.
Screw waiting a week, I'm Canadian and I want more pony nao!
