This season’s premiere, School Daze, opens with a brief follow up on the aftermath of the events of The My Little Pony Movie. Squeezed into this barrage of exposition is a magnificent little moment so brief and so subtle that if you blink, you just might miss it.
So I finally got around to watching it.
I have family in town so I haven't even been home today. Just one question. Is it just me, or is it a simplier/more PG version of Hard Reset by Eakin 
I was waiting the whole time for Spike to say Well that didn't work. 
Other then that, this episode was AWESOME, but surprisingly Violent

The title of this is more to give you readers an idea when I wrote it, rather than a commentary about chapter 5, although there will be some of that here as well.
It's funny how much can change in the span of a season. Even in Season 8 a lot of people were still on the fence about Starlight Glimmer and weren't entirely sure if her inclusion was for the best. But now, in this final season, everyone's been dying for more of her when she's been noticeably absent (though on the positive side Spike has been making the most of it and getting perhaps his best season of all time). Her episodes still remain polarizing, as does her character, but I think many
Shepherd and Twilight are cleaning up the library, which is blackened and crispy. Shepherd is less than amused.
Shepherd: "So... She set fire to the palace. Again."
Twilight: "YES! Yes, she set fire to the palace. Again. I'm trying to teach her that magic isn't the solution to every problem in life!"
Shepherd: "What was the problem that involved setting fire to everything?"

I’ve been swamped with moving house, trying to find a job, and dealing with family matters but I’m here to say the next chapter has finally been finished!

So, like most of us, I've been stuck isolating in my apartment for the past few weeks. And even if I wanted to go out, there wouldn't be much for me to do.
On the plus side, though, I've gotten a lot of writing done! And I don't know about you guys, but some stories I have an absolute blast writing. Like, most writing involves hard work and can be unpleasant, but sometimes you just hit a groove, or you find a story that's just a sheer joy to write.
Looking for at least one, maybe two ponies to look over a new project I've been working on. It involves Starlight Glimmer, so it you arent' a fan of her don't bother to apply. I'd like to start this blog with the following disclaimer, this is purely me ranting about the fandom over Starlight and just the fandom in general. I'm not against the opinions of others I just disagree with many of them and this blog is about that. So, the internet has been once again bringing up the old tale of Starlight and how over powered she is after Royal Problems and I just wanted to vent myself about how I think this isn't true.
My wonderful niece insists upon watching exactly 2 episodes of G4, over and over again. One of them is the second half of “The Crystalling,” in which Sunburst figures out how to use the Crystalling of baby Flurry Heart to reforge the Crystal Heart she shattered, and Starlight Glimmer stands beside the four alicorns pouring raw magical energy into a most ancient artifact as if she were their peer.
