Hello everyone. A pretty interesting thing happened and now Heavy Weighs the Crown has an audio reading!

And we're back! A wonderful month off to catch our breath, but now we're back at it with the Act 4: Dredgemane. It'll be a big change of pace from before, and we've got a little time in the wasteland again before traveling anywhere.
Enjoy!

P.S.
We'll get out that intermission thing we missed when we can ;)
Well, then, I wasn't sure I would ever do this, but what the heck? Might as well.
I am officially doing a reading of Scarlet, and I am starting with the four teasers that I wrote here on my blog to try and hype the story up. You can find them here.
Hey, y'all. I've been listening to audiobooks, and that got me wanting to record some audiobooks again. But due to some hardware issues, I haven't been able to do that. So I was looking into the cost of what it would take to get a decent mic and pop filter to do this thing properly (previously I had been using my wife's gaming headset, which is part of what causes the noise level to be too low on my recordings; I don't use a proper dedicated mic), and it's around $65 to get both, from what I
I have just been blessed by Illya Leonov yet again, with another reading of a story, which is my… um… Let me count the people who have done readings of my stuff. In this case, it's Those Who Go Down to the Sea, which is in turn a tribute to the Jolly Rogers and their song 'Eight Bells' from their album Pirates Evermore, available on CD Baby.
This story was originally uploaded in 4 parts in 2015. Three of those parts were since blocked worldwide because of copyright issues. This video has been edited to meet YouTube's copyright guidelines.
Chapter 17 is on a delay.
Buuuuut I have my reasons.
A reason.
It's in 6/8.
I think.
But in the meantime, I will be spending my nights working on chapter 16, plus wholesale retakes of Chapters 1 through 4, for the next two weeks or so. I'll also be taking care of the chapters that come after 17. All in all, this should be done in late March or early April.
My current editor has unfortunately found himself loaded with life and other issues, and only has minimal time to volunteer for the audiobook. Is there anyone out there with experience who would like to help out?
Basically, we just need a few things:
1) Checking for bad lines and splicing in revisions
2) Adding audio effects (rare - mostly just for specific characters)
3) General cleanup - minimizing outside noise
Let me know here or in IM. Thanks!
Fanfiction Reader has rendered a voice-synthesis version of Changeling Space Program on YouTube! The program doesn't have any sense of timing, and it stumbles badly trying to pronounce unfamiliar words, but it provides a way to read (or re-read) the story without staring at a screen!

As you very well know, The Broken Toy project is not just about translating a hit Russian pony story into English. It's also about converting it into an audiobook. So, without further ado, please welcome the audiobook version of Chapter 2. Enjoy!

Ok, so fans of my live reads, I do a random fanfic every friday and I have been thinking (Mainly thanks to me listening to Multitrekual/B5 binge watching) that I really want to get into some good Star Trek reading...so, for those of you who are here for those, who wants me to read a few chapters of noted reviewer SFdebris "unity Saga" wich is a crossover between Star Wars and Star Trek?
Over a thousand years ago, a costly war raged in the north. Its end was marked with a heavy tax imposed on the losing city, one that demanded the minotaurs pay in blood. Six years pass, and with each year comes a new drawing of lots. On the seventh year, a new name is drawn, and yet another victim is cast into the labyrinth…
Luna Farrowe has put out the next chapter of the Three Nights in Manehattan audiobook! It's been a while, but the quality is definitely there. Like before, it has music, sound effects, and a cast of several people!
Cheers to the start of another audio story series!
This one is by Megaskullmon!
Enjoy!
Check out their story here!
She's been immortalized in sound!
I'm completely stunned. This is awesome.
A Pre-Fallout Equestria story threw the eyes of an Equestrian Soldier on the front lines minutes before the mega spells dropped.
All done by me! Enjoy!!
