Nothing too bad, thankfully. Just the usual. I'm not wasting too much breath or thoughts now that I finally left it behind me but, to answer the questions you will have, it's a horrible thing for your depressed mind when you start feeling good, have a plan, a small catastrophe threatens that plan and throws you right into the next depressed fit that incapacitates you for another week.
I'm at Bronycon this week! I'll be staying with my editor Reese and a friend of his. I'll post later about which events I'll be at if you care to chat, but I will be at the Writer's Dinner and I'll also be a panelist for writers called "Distant Worlds" with GaPJaxie, Wanderer D, and Pascoite at Star Hall, Sunday at 12:45 am until 1:45 am. It feels kind of pompous to type this as if I'm addressing a large audience. So i talked a little bit on Sunday about some PC problems I've been having and I wanted to update you all on how that's going.
I've been putting some thought into Guiding of the Sirens, and an idea occurred to me.
I'm dealing with a peculiar problem the last few days: My writing feels bad and I can't tell why. I sat down to write the new chapter of "Dreamwalker Dash" for this week (and I am a good 1,314 words into it, so don't think I was lazy), but eventually, I could not go on anymore, as what I wrote felt more and more shallow and bad.
She says she holds sway over the moon and stars, and I don’t doubt it. Instead, I tell her of my affection for the night, and how I had hoped to meet whomever brought it about. She smiles and tells me that not many other ponies share my sentiment whilst glancing at the pearl mare beside her.
The pearl mare introduces herself and the other mare. Apparently, they are sisters. Sisters who control the heavens. Knowing my place, I bow to both, though lower to she of the night.
i'm currently working on new chapters for my stories, but i find myself in a bit of a bind
i'm living off my savings for my last year of college, and while dorm living and food is taken care of, my main concern is paying for my medications. im on student insurance at the moment but just one of my two daily medications i gonna set me back $70 a month. Doable, but that's gonna add up in a year.
Y'all said you liked short stories in between updates, and well, whaddya know: I happened to have a writing impulse that led to a story that just... kinda flowed out. I'm still working on other things: chiefly that Enemy of Mine update and a few other short pieces, some for my regular anthology and others for a new one.
