I'll be the guy walking around with the pass that has the name Lightbreeze on it.
I'll be the guy walking around with the pass that has the name Lightbreeze on it.
Now in Bellevue. I’ve missed the EFNW opening ceremonies, but there’s still much to see and do. Say hi if you spot me; I’ve got the rainbow face mask and a Best Pony poking out of my backpack.
I will be going to the EFNW this summer! I haven't been to a con since fall of 2019 so this is exciting!
2020 was a rough year, and we aren't out of the woods yet, but things are looking better. So let's cut loose at the EFNW and have a good time! Hopefully I will see some FimFictioners there!
In Fall 2016, the fourth Equestria Girls movie, Legend of Everfree, will be released. Apparently, the girls find out that their beloved Camp Everfree is on the verge of being shut down. In response, the girls set up a "Crystal Gala fundraiser" to try to raise enough money and awareness to save it, using their magical transformations and powers in the process.
Just a a note to anyone who may be going to Everfree that I will be walking around a bit on Saturday and Sunday.
I might rock my Starswirl the bearded costume, I'll definitely be wandering around with my four year old daughter, and I basically have no plan or goal except for showing up, looking around a bit and keeping myself and my daughter entertained.
So if you happen to be at the con this year, keep an eye out maybe?
If you guys haven't heard about it yet, the newest EQG trailer just released. Check it out after the break.
So, I just saw the new movie, and I have to say that it was a step-down from Equestria Games. Still, I loved the summer/club attire of the entire cast.
Minus points though because they tried to ship my Twilight with another character. At least I actually feel something for ChadFlash too, and a rekindling Sunset. So, plus points again? I'm not sure.
I am going to be at Everfree Northwest again this year! I'm going to be driving up to Seattle tomorrow, and plan to be there through Sunday evening.
I am going to be on the following panels on Friday:
11 am - Setting the Setting - Cascade Room
Learn how to immerse your characters in a rich, detailed world. Bring themes to life with subtle writing tricks, and find ways to use your setting to set your world apart!
So, For Love of the Love of the Game won the Pinkie Pie award for comedy... after, I'm told, originally being in the running for the Rainbow Dash award for awesomeness.
Which is fair, because I was going for either one. I could also make a weak case for the Twilight Sparkle Attention to Detail or the Fluttershy D'aww.
But not the Rarity Elegance, because the story is possibly Rarity's least elegant moment.
So in 5 hours I board a plane to take me to Chicago and from there to EFNW! I'll be there all weekend if anyone wants to meet/say hi/whatever! This is year 3 going!
I'm on staff, though, so my free time is a bit more sporadic, so anyone who really wants to say hi please reply here or poke me on Discord (I'm on the Fimfic server under Morning Sun and have a Celestia avatar) where I will be way quicker to respond because Discord is on my phone!
Hope to see a buncha you there!
Thanks to an amazing friend (Angel, my editor! <3) This year I will be attending NW everfree. I hope I can meet so many awesome people and learn a whole bunch of things. This is my very first con ever, so I'm mega super excited! If any of my fans want to actually see me face to face and realize how much of a dork I am, this is your chance! (That's right, the great maskinos is a dork, fear herrrrrrr.)
I'll be at Everfree this weekend hosting or participating in 6 panels so far, maybe more by the time I'm on the ground.
it's always 2-3 more by the way, ALWAYS!
But I'll be there talking about writing, FoE, Pinkie Pie, and On SUNDAY I'm hosting "BRONY CHURCH!" Come learn of the way of the twin sisters with science and psychology!
For starters, I want to apologize to all of you for not having released anything new in some time. A lot has been happening in my day to day life, creating obstacles in my writing. Working overtime hours, dealing with my car, exhaustion, waves of writer’s block and handling a breakup (for the best).
I dunno. It looks like a blush on Sunset to me but that's probably just my inner SunLight Shipper. It's probably just the lighting. What do you think?
Okay, let’s do this. I’ve already posted my initial impressions of Legend of Everfree during several discussions in forums/comments sections where we were talking about it, but those are just initial impressions. Sometimes what you think of something new changes a bit as it sets in, or with subsequent viewings. And it did, I guess, but not by very much. It wasn’t bad. I mean, it wasn’t great. It was kind of…oh, how can I sum this up quickly and easily? It was…
Happy sixth birthday, Friendship Is Magic! I hope you die before you get old
Let us celebrate with a round of stories based on the newest un-horse movie. If you haven't seen it yet, well, you should, and you should do so before any of these reviews spoil you on the details! :B Onward! (And I know I've been posting a lot lately; this will probably be my last "plus-one edition" for a bit, I just had a lot of stuff to clear out.)

So Everfree is AWESOME!
Got my autographs today. The girls that play the CMC are so amazingly sweet. Talked to Maddy about her feelings on Scoots being disabled and she says she loves that idea and is how she plays her. Claire just loves being Sweetie and has the biggest smile. Then, I got my autograph from Michelle and told her that I was a fanfiction writer and I...I don't know why but I asked her if there was anything she'd love to see the crusauders do that can't happen in the show.
Everfree Northwest 2017! I know, right? Only a few more days, plus for me, only one day of work.
Until that time, I am going to try writing as much as possible. I really want this Luna fic I've been working on to release by the end of May, but between Everfree prep and work trying to kill me I've gotten a little behind, thus the push toward writing this week... after Guardians of the Galaxy later today... Shush, no spoilers.
So, I really got nothing else... Distractions!
I love them. I really enjoy all the shipping but I just can't see either of them with another pony. I think it's because I keep measuring them against another ship. What's really funny is how certain couplings seem to draw together. Twijack is real - that's all there is to it. The thing is when I put Twi and Dash into the same space, the sex just starts to happen. They have a dynamic that is , well, Dash is sexy, let's face it - she's in great shape and very bold. Twi is of course
