{one can wonder if against-wage-work essay actually 'safe for work' .. well, read in and find out!}
picture picking and text by Eliza Daley
I read much more than I write, and thankfully this specific horse pic did not lead to me being angry. Because, well.. this is about contributing to someone's/collective life instead of exploitation
He nodded, smiling at her as he stepped back. “It seems that such problems give you a lot of trouble. I shudder to think of how you might fare against a logical paradox.”
Turing Test stared back at him. “I am unfamiliar with that concept.”
“Oh, you know,” he said rolling his hand mildly. “It’s a sort of contradictory statement, like, say, if I were to declare ‘This sentence is false!’”
Or in this case The Horse:

It's Derby Day again.
And 100 years ago it was a horse by the name of Sir Barton that claimed the rose garland under the twin spires of Churchill Downs.
That was a hundred years ago ...
What if ponies were the size of draft horses?
And how big would Princess Celestia be if her 'little ponies' were the size of draft horses?
So... yeah, as opposed to the Wielder of the Orb reboot, Lab Horse: Redux isn't doing quite as well as I hoped it would. Standing at two likes and dislikes and being the more viewed out of the two stories, I tend to see early story likes/dislikes as a commentary on how people see the current story progression.
That being said, what do y'all wanna see Gadget do next?
Just wrapping up Lab Horse with a ribbon of insanity.
Here's the basic premise:
Gadget enters the portal, dragging Delmar along because no one else in the scientific community respects him anymore.
Portal is one-way at the moment, but Gadget goes against the warnings and heads through anyways.
A miscalculation leads to Gadget and Delmar finding themselves on a space station instead.
I made it myself after going through a tutorial on how to create a starfield in PDN. It might only be temporary though, 'cause my sister said that she wants to draw cover art for the story.
21315 words + 397 words. ~80-85% Done.
Yes, that is indeed a whopping three words more then last week. Gaze on the grand skills of the master, and despair!
Seriously though, I've been tweaking things quite a bit so still progress. Just not the type that shows in pure word count.
The 5383 words of chapter #8 on the other hand...
You guys know me and deadlines, but think #7 should drop sometimes next week baring interruptions.
I was asked by somebody I sadly can't remember right now why I don't do weekly updates on story status when I have that status box.
This is going to sound slightly rude, but writing Status blogs like this bores me, and I can't even quite make a form for it since I so often need to add why things have either stalled or jumped ahead. Normally in about half a dozen stories as well, and checking word counts over that many documents adds up in time.
Math guys, I like some help with this. I might do it for a future story.
So, how big would Princes Celestia be if the average pony was the size of a shire horse?
I've been pretty busy with non-writing things and commissions lately, but between all that I found the time to poke out another story that I'll be posting next week. It's probably my last longer ponystory - at least for a while - because I've got a lot of other personal projects on my mind right now. It's not super long by my standards... 90Kish words, give or take. It's sort of a messy crossover, although it borrows mainly concepts from another series and puts them into MLP. The title will
Phew! Final word count, pre-edit of course, is 287, 496.
What a marathon! Not as long as Ice Fall, but longer than the others, this has been a fascinating story for me to write and one that I can only hope I've done justice to. It was the sort of story that could have gone on and on and on, but I felt the time was right to bring it all together ready for the next story. And that brings me nicely onto the next topic, which is the Fairlight series.
Wow, the updated box is brutal, I was barely in there a couple of hours. So if you missed it, day 2 of the story formerly known as Apples Don't Care is up, featuring Limestone Pie. And the fetish isn't what you might think it is.
This is a blog post with things and words, and I stuff. So if you hate things and words then, I don't know, don't read it.
My intended story to build off of the alternate ending of Lab Horse hasn't really gotten very far, and I'm considering scrapping it.
Who wants Gadget in a time-loop instead?!
