Fans really seized on the idea of the Cutie Mark Crusaders and tree sap.
I have to think that, by a certain point, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were deliberately not naming Rainbow Dash to mess with Scootaloo.
S1E15 Feeling Pinkie Keen
Here's another Pinkie Pie-focused episode, one that helped define the character of Pinkie Pie. It increased the number of ways in which Pinkie Pie is portrayed as the zany character, making any weird thing, including breaking the fourth wall, seem just fine. The fandom really developed the idea of Pinkie Sense, but did it ever come up again in the series?
And so Bronycon comes to an end. A lot went well, a lot went poorly. All told, this last visit to Baltimare can be summarized in four words:
It went horribly right.
...the scene in which the key to eternal peace with the changelings is providing them with tribbles. Or, well, tribble.

A belated Happy New Year to you all!
Well, this certainly took a lot longer to get out than I expected. The Christmas season ate up a lot of my time. This ended up becoming my first blog of this year.
Well, guys, I did the thing. And then some.
I have just now caught up with the entirety of Season 5. The reason it took so long is because I got it into my head that I should rewatch the entire show again.

Episodes 1 & 2
Well, the opener is creepy as all fuck. There are kids in that town, for one thing. We finally have a villain who has targeted children on screen. More relevant stallions, good too.
Author's note: Before anything, I'd like to say that I'm glad to be alive, considering that I survived two earthquakes in the past couple of weeks. I deeply thank all the people involved in helping the victims.
Let's continue looking back to the entire show. Remember, this review will assume you've already seen the show, so spoilers ahead. Shall we?
Here we are, folks. Last day of the year, counting down the hours until the new year is rung in.
2019. A lot has happened for me over the past 12 months, both good and bad. I've gotten to see some really enjoyable movies this year, ranging from Endgame, John Wick Parabellum and King of the Monsters as well as Detective Pikachu, to name just a few. My dad and I also finished our project of watching the Adam West Batman series, which was a lot of fun 
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
And as seems to be the trend, I enjoyed this one more than I did the previous one.
