A lot of people I follow came out with new stories yesterday, and in the spirit of not procrastinating, I actually read them.
Today’s stories:
Breaking Peeved by Bad Horse
All Better Now by OCalhoun
Make It Better by Twinkletail
A Brief Glance at the Papers on Luna’s Desk by Chuckfinley
Peachy Pie and Misty Moon Keep the Realm Safe Until Dinnertime by Pascoite
I'm very, very sorry. A declaration like that typed out on a phone in front of a river is very scary. As an author who wanted to have his blog either be for comedy or stories, I feel it was very rude to drop that out of nowhere.
Also, not dead.
Yesterday, I was thinking “Man, Bad Horse released another new story, but I’ve already got my review post done. Well, might as well read it and get started on the next set of Read It Now Reviews.” Then I realized there were a few recent stories I’d been putting off reading, that were all short, and one thing lead to another…
And now I’ve got a complete review set for today! Funny how that works.
aargh so many of these. anyway, there's going to be a ton of updates. soon. very soon.
namely:
Crystalline is getting a re-write posted edited by some jar of yogurt. When? soon. soonish. i've got a lot to do.
that lovely story whose title you can't read (in English it translates to 'Divine Move') will be wrapping up soon. the last few chapters are being edited and the total length will beat Tomb of Magic's. this will give everyone the perfect chance to catch up on these, yay!
Hello, Everyone!
I've got some good news and some bad news.
The Good News: Some great progress has been made on the story! The cover art is now done, The story's plot line has been (somewhat) planned out, and I have an overall view of how everything is going to play out from start to finish.
Well...that was something. A really long, somewhat confusing, weird something that just happened on a show about magical talking ponies. I think everyone who dismisses this show as sparkly nonsense should have a look at the post-apocalyptic world scenarios this show managed to pull off....along with one of the main characters having a very obvious SCAR on their face whilst fighting in a war against an evil dictator. But enough about how making assumptions about TV shows is bad. Why in the
Many moons ago, I saw all those Multi-story-spanning alternate universes rampant at the time. I thought to myself, “I could do that.” As the title of this blog series may hint, it never truly congealed into a good story, let alone multiple stories. For today’s idea graveyard, I’d like to share the meandering process with you all. After all, as John Dewey said, “Failure is instructive. The person who really thinks learns quite as much from his failures as from his successes.”
Okay, but I'm watching this video by Lily Peet when he gets to about 21:32 and I'm thinking, "How awesome would it be if the Sirens actually were responsible for all the bad shit that happened in Equestrian history?"
Her voice actor died during childbirth, the child didn't survive either.
Haha! It's very depressing. I don't know why it's personally sad to me, but it is. Feels like the character died herself.
Edit: Probably important to note we're talking about Spanish Sonata here.
What I just said in the title. It's super short, just a bit over 1K words and too vague... But I like it. It's sad too, a pony (moi OC) telling about a life changing experience.
And we’re back to Pony Life, if increasingly behind. Well, it’s certainly one way to get a backlog. Let’s take a look at what we have to work with.
Hola, Fimfiction. Short time, no see.
Do you like physical pony fanfics? Do you like human in Equestria? Do you like human-turned-pony? Do you like my art?
If the answer is yes to any of those questions, may I point you to Boopy Doopy's story, I Am Not Sombra, now available for physical purchase right here.
First off welcome to the month of my birthday. I'm glad to see everyone has made it halfway through this harsh year. Hard times are on all sides as we enter the halfway point and I am hard press to say I am among those few hitting it hard. Due to a harsh storm last week I was without power for some time. However, it wasn't until that power returned did I see all the damage. Much needed to be fixed and the previous cost needed to be slashed, henceforth one of my commissions needed to be dropped.
After some delays, it should finally be coming out tomorrow! It won't be quite on her "birthday," but hey, close enough, right?
Changelings. They can turn into all sorts of ponies. I often wonder though why it is we never see them transform into anything else. I mean I think it would be hilarious to see one look like the last box of cereal on the shelf and when some kid goes to grab it it transforms last second into Flim who then tips his hat and slowly walks away.
Journeyman: It's that time again.
Journeyman: It's Christmas.
Journeyman: Time for another entry in the Stocking Stuffer Series.
Journeyman: Only instead of snow we'll have some bullshit about Easter and Jesus and rabbits or some shit.
Journeyman: What say you, Pizor, King of Pies?
Pizor: Hmm it has potential. Gonna need a day to brain storm tho
Journeyman: I can smell the tired on you.
Journeyman: Here, this will wake you up.
