The young Pie sisters loved playing in the forest close to their home. They did so on a daily basis and had fun each and every time. However, there was a danger to the area. One that Pinkie Pie never took seriously. One day, Pinkie decides to ignore here sisters' warnings and disaster strikes.

Maud does all she can to help her sibling, but is it enough?

While enjoying a quiet afternoon in her cottage Fluttershy is suddenly surprised by Pinkie Pie, alongside her sister Marble Pie. Marble is visiting Ponyville, but because Pinkie is busy on that day she decides to leave her sister in the hooves of Fluttershy for the afternoon. As the two of them are alone, the shy mares begin to talk to each other.

Well, sort of.

Your friends in Ponyville were quite shocked when your relationship with Marble Pie became public. They were even more shocked when she moved in with you and immediately became just another member of the community, all without saying a single word. To most of them, it can be hard to have a conversation with her.

To you, it's the easiest thing in the world.

The Grand Galloping Gala is approaching and everypony is looking forward to it! At least, they should be. But for some the stress is mounting with every day that passes. Can they accept help from those who love them? And what if they happen to meet somepony new?

There's a problem at the Pie Quarry. One that Sunset Shimmer is uniquely equipped to handle.

Dealing with magic is easy. Dealing with cute quiet girls is too, but to solve this one, Sunset is going to need to dig deep. Real deep.

Marble Pie was born with a spark of ingenuity that couldn't be found anyplace else. She used this gift to create a machine. A machine that walks on two legs, a mech. It is an impressive creation of steel and magic, and it would never see the light of day.

As if she would let those 'outsiders' steal one of her creations again. All that the ponies outside of her family did was judge and steal. It was best not to talk to them. Especially when she couldn't even meet their eyes with the pop rocks bubbling in her stomach. Unfortunately, three new arrivals might change that.

One is a pony, arriving fresh to the isolated town of Rockville with a penchant for fairy tales. The other, a wave of mechanical terrors with unknown intentions but terrible intent. And the last, a pile of ancient dragon bones speaking to her in binary and text. He offers power beyond her own, and a way to help combat this threat. However, his past remains a mystery, and his methods are... unorthodox. When an ancient evil is swarming the countryside, there is one fact that remains startingly true.

It's nice to have a little more firepower.
