At the Canterlot International Food Court, each species, from ponies to dragons to yaks, run self-operated food stalls, subsidized by Princess Twilight’s government, serving the cuisine of their homeland to Equestrians of all creeds and races.

(Although inspired by the hawker centers of Singapore, this story is a work of fiction. Takes place some time after Twilight's coronation.)

Spike's fed up of Outer Yakyakistan, a perpetually frigid land of biting wind, blinding snow, and little else. No one actually lives here, not even the yaks themselves. Twilight's company is the only silver lining, but even she can only lift Spike's spirits in short bursts. He wants to go home to Ponyville.

But as they clamber up the final mountain in Outer Yakyakistan, the wind changes. Spike becomes sure that he's been here before. Except... he hasn't. Not in living memory. So why does it feel like he's already home?

I'm incredibly grateful to Ceffyl Dwr (ed: now paperhearts) for editing and criticising and all that jazz, but most of all for encouraging me to get this story finished. Without him, it wouldn't have happened.

Sandbar cares a great deal for Yona, but the thought of meeting her family has him understandably nervous. What if they didn't like him? Thankfully, that turns out to not be a problem, and instead, he has to worry about something else entirely.

A compendium of sketches of far corners of the multiverse. Ideas that were amusing enough to write down, but not quite meaty enough to build a full story on.

Marked "Complete" because each chapter is a standalone story, but I will be adding more stories as inspiration strikes. In spite of the "Teen" rating, most stories should have "Everyone" content; stories with actual "Teen" content will be marked with a [T].

Yak Attak: In which Ponyville is already home to a couple of immigrants from Yakyakistan. With them "helping" the mane six, the diplomatic visit with Prince Rutherford goes in a rather different direction.
That's my name ...: In which a cross-eyed pegasus breaks the census.
Dewey led a very interesting life, you see: A feghoot.
Veto: Two weeks after the attempted Changeling invasion, something surprising happens at the Equestrian Senate.
From Canterlot Boutique with Love: Another feghoot.
The Cutie Relapse: Starlight Glimmer and her teacher have an unpleasant but necessary meeting.
... don't wear it out.: Pinkie Pie takes a cliché very, very literally.
Change(ling)s and Forms: After Spike befriends Thorax, Twilight discovers that changelings are even better at blending in than anypony suspected.
Between a Spike and a Hard Place: AKA how "Princess Spike" should have ended.
When all you have is a spell book ...: Stupidlight Glimbutt gets a lot of mileage out of her new favorite spell. [Teen]
The Longest Line: Twilight Sparkle (not our Twilight, but a Twilight none the less) passes through water and fire to see a friend again. [Teen]
I Am the Night ... Glider: Night Glider never forgave Starlight Glimmer, and now she's back to get her revenge. (Available in two wildly different versions.)
Domains: Regarding Luna's Moon, Celestia's Sun, and the difficulties of being the Only Sane Alicorn in the kingdom.

Twilight puts her hoof down when a diplomatic visit goes awry.

A short one-shot written in response to Season 5, Episode 11: Party Pooped. But you probably figured that out. Warning: ham to ham combat aplenty.

Yaks are one of the most durable sapient species on the planet, a fact in which they take pride.  They have colonized mountains towering beyond the reach of even dragons’ wings. They smash the toughest objects the mountains have to offer for fun.  They don’t settle for second place.

Naturally, they didn’t take it lightly when they heard of Equestria’s plans to explore beyond the sky.

Rocket scientists beware: Heresy dwells within.

My thanks to Bugsydor and Akouma for some idea-bouncing and proofreading. Similarly, big thanks to Rocket Lawn Chair for making an awesome cover. Turns out, there's not a lot out there that includes yaks and rocket science.

My entry for FanOfMostEverything's Imposing Sovereigns II contest under The New: Prince Rutherford.

It's been a little over a year since Princess Flurry Heart founded the settlement of Winter's Hearth deep in the unclaimed territory of the Frozen North, and in that time she and her subjects have faced many dangers. But whether through grit or sheer equine spirit, they've survived every one of them.

So when the yaks of the Northwestern Tribes decide to declare war on them, it feels like just another Tuesday.

The yaks feel differently.

This story was originally conceived as an entry to Imposing Sovereigns IV, but I didn't end up writing it until several months after the contest closed. You can read the actual entrants to that contest here! The intended prompt was Flurry Heart/Strength.

Normally in fanfiction, the human gets to Equestria and gets to shag loads and loads of mares. Unfortunately for Devin, he gets thrown off course, landing square into the Frozen North, where the snow is aplenty, the lack of life is high, and the only ones to save him, are yaks. They like to smash...

...and smash again.

Hopefully Devin will survive the initiation ritual, or die trying.

Another idea that was inspired by FamousLastWords's brainstorming session. Maybe he needs to write more HiY/HiE on his main instead of shipping an aged-up Spike with every female character in the show. Nah that's not going to happen.

To some ponies, I’m a normal archaeologist who spends her days playing in the dirt.  To others, I’m a daring adventurer. When new access to yak territories yields a list of archaeological gold mines and one of them is in the Dragonlands?  I have to be both.

My story for The Springtime Sequel-Slash-Sandbox Switcheroo, written for FanOfMostEverything and inspired by his story Daring Do and the Weapon of the Ancients. Reading his story first is in no way necessary (but you should read it), and this story should not in any way spoil his.
