> Blues Clues: Meeting a Magician. > by Big Imagination E > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > A Magic Show Invitation > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a beautiful spring day in Canterlot City. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the insects were dancing. And in the park we see two boys going for a walk and arriving at a playground. They were none other than Spike and Inferno. They were enjoying each other's company and loving the sunshine. We see them swinging on swings, climbing the monkey bars, sliding down the pole, come down from and the slides, and of course using their imaginations to pretend that the playground is like a pirate ship. After when they had their fun at the playground they walked on home. They arrived at their house and took off their shoes and laid down on the bed to get some rest. "Whew Spike. That was a fun time we had at the park wasn't it?" Inferno asked. "It sure was Inferno. Felt really good like the old days when we were little boys. Oh it brings back good memories." Spike answered. "You said it. Although I've been thinking about Steve, Blue and all of our friends. It certainly has been a while since we last saw them." Inferno said. "Dude. The last time we saw them was when we were at the Easter party." Spike told him. "But that was like a few weeks ago. And plus I've been curious to know what Steve's been up to lately. Maybe he had another party going on." Inferno suggested. "He can't be planning parties every day bro. But I will give him a call later to see how he's been doing lately. Would you like to go get some snacks for us?" Spike asked. "Sure man. I will be right back." Inferno said as he left to head to the corner store to grab some snacks. With Spike he decided that it has been a while since they last saw Steve. So he decided to grab his phone, dial in his number and waited for him to answer. The phone was ringing for a good five minutes til he heard someone on the other line. "Hello?" "Hey Steve. It's Spike." "Oh hey there buddy. How you and Inferno doing?" Steve asked. "Were doing ok. Inferno went to go get some snacks for me and him. I was calling to see how you're doing today." Spike answered. "Oh I'm great thanks for asking. We recently had a new neighbor move in and we had to meet him. It started when me and Blue were playing ball in the park. When I accidentally threw the ball too far we ran into a fort that was mysteriously being built. We didn't know who was building til we played Blue's Clues to figure it out. Turns out our neighbor Periwinkle was the one that built the fort and we happened to know that he likes doing some magic tricks." Steve explained. "Wow. A new neighbor. Lucky you." Spike smiled. "And here's something that you didn't know. Apparently there's someone coming to our neighborhood to perform a magic show later on tonight. And I was wondering if you and Inferno wanted to come and see the magic for yourselves." Steve offered. "Really? That would be wonderful Steve. So what time does the show start?" Spike asked. "Somewhere around 6:30pm. Whoever this magician is really does need to prepare the tricks he or she will do later on tonight." Steve answered. "Ok thank you Steve. We'll see you in a little bit." Spike said as he hung up the phone. At the same time he heard the front door open and Inferno came inside with the snacks he got for the both of them. "Hey Spike I'm back. I got you your favorite. Iced honey buns and Mr Pibb. As for me I got a bag of cheddar fries and some Purple Thunder Mountain Dew." Inferno said. "Thanks Inferno. I'm glad to have a caring brother like you." Spike smiled taking the buns and soda out of the bag. "That's what brothers are for right? They care for their little bros and always help them whenever there's a problem. But anyways. Did you get a chance to talk to Steve?" Inferno asked. "I did actually. He's doing good and he even invited us to come by his neighborhood later because there's someone coming over there to perform a magic show later on tonight." Spike answered. "Really now? That was thoughtful of him. Did you accept his invite?" Inferno wondered. "Yes. The show will be starting at 6:30pm. Plus he said that there's a new neighbor that moved in his neighborhood. Said his name was Periwinkle. I think we should go and not only see the magic show but also meet this Periwinkle. I wonder how friendly he will be?" Spike replied. "I'm sure he's friendly like all of Steve's friends are. Well come on little brother. Let's go get changed and let's make our way to Steve's house." Inferno said. So the two finished their snacks and headed to their bedroom. They changed out of their regular clothes and into some nice tuxes. Spike had a green dress shirt and black jacket while Inferno's was red. They were looking sharp and cool. Then they both stepped out the front door and were all ready. "Ok Spike-O. Are you ready to witness some magic tonight at Steve's house?" Inferno asked. "I sure am bro. But I'm curious who the magician will be when performing tonight. I mean I don't know who it can be." Spike thought. "Spike. If there's one thing you should know about magicians it's that they never reveal their secrets. So when he or she arrives later on then you'll know." Inferno said. "Ok. I guess we'll have to keep waiting for the mystery magician so we can see this magic performance." Spike replied. "That's what I like to hear. Now come on. We better get to Steve's house." Inferno said. So the two headed off to Steve's house and were so ready to see the magic show. But they knew that soon they will have to play Blue's Clues to figure out who will perform but also gave Periwinkle a letter saying that this magician wants to meet him. > Meeting Periwinkle and Time for Blue's Clues! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The two arrived at his house and when Inferno knocked on the door the door opened and revealed Steve in a tux as well. He too wanted to dress up for the occasion. "Oh hi Inferno and Spike. I'm so glad you're here. Come on in guys. I have someone I want you to meet. Hey Periwinkle! Come meet my friends!" Steve said. Then coming in the living room was a lilac tabby kitten, and he is bluish white with a periwinkle with blue triangles on his forehead. He has triangles on his back, triangular ears and a pink nose. Periwinkle has a short curvy and skinny tail and four legs; his feet have invisible toes. His right front foot is periwinkle and the other feet aren't. This was Periwinkle. "Hi! You must be Spike and Inferno. Steve told me all about you." Periwinkle said. "Yep that's us! And you must be Periwinkle. Steve's new neighbor. Tell us a bit little bit about yourself." Inferno replied. "Well I recently came from the city. When I moved into Blue's neighborhood and met many new people in the new environment I started making friends with everyone. Some of my favorite hobbies are being mischievous and practicing magic. When i lived in the city i was friends with Plum, a purple bird and Rainbow Puppy in that lives in the same city i once lived in before moving to Blue's neighborhood. Now Steve and Joe often call me Peri. And my favorite color is red." Periwinkle explained. Then Blue came out in her blue dress since she wants to look good for the magic show. "Hey Blue! So Periwinkle? You actually like practicing magic tricks? That's so cool!" Inferno replied. "Yep. And sometimes I really wish that would get the chance to see a real magic show one day." Periwinkle wished. "You don't say. Well Periwinkle you'll be happy to know that someone is coming here tonight to perform a magic show later on. And you will get to see your very first show here!" Spike smiled. "That sounds exciting!! I've always wondered what it would be like to actually see a live magic show!" Periwinkle beamed. Then suddenly a star shaped letter came floating inside the house and landed gently on the ground. The brothers, Steve, Periwinkle and Blue all got a closer look at it. "What is that?" Spike asked. "It looks like a letter. I wonder who it's for?" Steve said as he picked it up and opened it. "Oh Periwinkle. It's for you." "For me? Lemme see what it says?" Periwinkle said taking the letter and proceed to read. "Dear Periwinkle, I have been noticing that you enjoy magic tricks so much. In fact when I arrive later tonight I wish to get to know you and possibly have you as my assistant for tonight's show. Plus I think you're really cute and mischievous. Look forward to seeing you tonight. From your secret admirer and magician. "A secret admirer? Someone actually loves me? And this admirer is a magician! This is like a dream! I'm gonna be an assistant for tonight's show!!" Periwinkle said. "Well Periwinkle this is gonna be your lucky night! You're gonna earn a lover, be an assistant for the magic show and get to know the magician!" Steve replied. "Yeah you lucky kitty! Your gonna have the night of your life!" Spike said as he looked at the time as it was 1:30pm. "And when we reach to 6:30pm you will meet your admirer." "Periwinkle. Are you excited about meeting your admirer tonight?" Steve asked. "Yep. But there's one problem." Periwinkle answered. "See while I may be excited I'm also a little nervous too, just like when i was nervous to go to school for the first time. Plus I don't know who this mystery magician/admirer is." "Ooh. That is a problem. I wonder who sent Periwinkle the letter?" Spike asked. Then Blue barked saying that she knows the answer to the question. "Blue? Do you know who sent Periwinkle the letter?" Steve asked as Blue nodded yes. "Ok well who is it?" Then Blue went to the screen and placed a paw print on it. The gang knew exactly what she meant when that happened. "Of course! We'll play Blue's Clues to figure out who sent Periwinkle the letter! I love that game!" Steve said. "Us too!" Spike and Inferno said in unison. Then they all started to sing as music began playing. "So remember. Blue's pawprints will be on the clues." Steve replied "Blue's Clues." The brothers said in unison. "Now how do we get rid of this pawprint?" Inferno asked. "I think I know a way." Periwinkle said taking out a magic wand. "Maybe I can use this wand to make the pawprint disappear." "Go ahead." Spike allowed. "Ok. Here goes." Periwinkle replied as he waved the magic wand and once it touched the pawprint it completely disappeared into thin air. "Nice trick. You know what we need for Blues Clues. Our handy dandy..." Inferno started. "Notebook!!" The reader finished. "Notebook! Of course!" Steve smiled as everyone got out their notebooks. "So you guys are gonna play this game to help me figure out who has sent me the letter?" Periwinkle asked. "We sure are. That way you'll know who gave it to you. And you know we can tell were really gonna need your help trying to figure out who sent Periwinkle the letter. Will you help?" Steve asked. "You will? Oh great. Well let's play Blue's Clues." Spike said as the music started again. They all singed and danced to the song. First it was Inferno and Spike who started the song. Next it was Steve who sang the second verse. Then he finished the rest the song. When we got to the end Blue jumped in front of the screen and the gang came up and said "That we wanna do!" "Hehehehe. That was a great dance you guys did." Periwinkle said. "Thanks that's what will happen when we start Blue's Clues. So are you ready to play?" Spike asked. "Oh good because we are really gonna need your help trying to figure out who sent Periwinkle the letter. And I think we should help Periwinkle practice some tricks for when the magician arrives." "That's a good idea. Hey Periwinkle. Why don't you stick with us and we can help you try some magic tricks?" Inferno offered. "Sure. I'll need to be prepared for the magician when he or she arrives tonight." Periwinkle agreed. "That's what we like hearing. Now let's go look for some clues!" Spike said as he and the others when to the left and began the search for clues. > The First Magic Clue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The gang walked into the living room and they were starting their search. Inferno looked in the toy chest, Spike looked on the table, Periwinkle tried looking out the window and Steve looked in the arts and crafts kit. But so far they couldn't find it. They continued walking til they passed a rack with different hats on it. Spike grabbed a hard hat and pretended to be a construction worker. But what he didn't know is that there was a pawprint on the wizard hat meaning it's a clue! Then the others joined him. "Spike. What are you doing?" Inferno asked. "I'm pretending to be a construction worker. Cool right?" Spike asked. "I guess so but we really need to find out who gave Periwinkle the letter. We can play dress up another day." Inferno said. "A clue! A clue!" The reader spoke. "Yeah. It is fun to play dress up when you're feeling blue. But we got a magic show later on tonight to see and although dress up is fun it's not what were doing today." Inferno said. "No. A clue." The reader replied. "Oh. Oh you see a clue! Where is it? Is it in front of us or behind us?" Spike asked. "Behind you! On the hat!" The reader answered. The brothers turned around and they saw the wizard hat with the pawprint and they knew what it was. "Oh! There's a clue! And it's on this wizard hat! Hey guys! We found the first clue!" Inferno said as everyone else came in and saw the clue. "Nice job! So the first clue is this wizard hat. You know what we need. Our handy dandy..." Steve started. "Notebook!" The reader said. "Notebook! Right!" Steve said as he and all the others took there notebooks out. "Ok. Let's draw this wizard hat." Then everyone began to draw. "Ok. To draw a wizard hat we'll draw off with a cone shape like this. And a circle on the bottom. Now we'll add some stars on it. And there. A wizard hat." Steve replied. "Nice drawing." Periwinkle said. "Thanks. So were trying to figure out who sent Periwinkle the letter. And our first clue is a wizard hat." Steve said as the image came out of the notebook. "So who could send Periwinkle the letter with a wizard hat?" Steve asked. "I honestly don't know. Maybe someone who wears a wizard hat?" Periwinkle thought. "Could be." Spike said as the image flew back in. "But that's only one clue. We better find two more just to make sure." "Good idea Spike. Cause we won't know til we have all three clues." Inferno agreed. "Oh no! What am I to do?" A voice called out. "That sounded like Tickety Tock. Let's go see what's wrong." Steve said as they went to the bedroom. In there they see Tickety holding a bag all trying to get something out but she's having no luck. "Hey Tickety. Are you having a little trouble with that bag?" Spike asked. "Yes. I'm wanting to try this magic trick with my bag of magic hankies. But everytime I try pulling one out there's nothing in the bag. Can you help me?" Tickety asked. "Will you help Tickety practice this magic trick? Great. Then we can look for more Blue's Clues. Alright Tickety. What do we need to do?" Spike asked. "Well the reason why I can't get any magic hankies out is because I keep forgetting to say the magic word. But I also want more than one person to say it so maybe the hankies can get bigger. All you have to do is say the magic word and wave your hands around the bag." Tickety answered. "I think we can handle that." Steve said as he politely took the bag of magic hankies. "Alright. It's time for a little magic. When I wave my hand in the air I want you to say the magic word 'Abracadabra' and hopefully they'll be something in the bag. Ready? One, two, three. Abracadabra!" Steve said as he waved his hand around it and looked in the bag and got a surprise. "Wow! You ain't gonna believe this. There's something in the bag of magic hankies!" Steve said as he took out a pink hanky. "Wow! A pink magic hanky! That's amazing! Hey Spike, Inferno? Can you guys try it out?" Tickety asked. "Sure we can try." Inferno said as Steve gave him the bag of magic hankies. "Alright. Hey Spike. Let's see what happens if we both say 'Abracadabra'. Maybe we might get a bigger hanky." "It could very well happen. Let's try. When we wave our hands around the bag we need you to say 'Abracadabra'. Are you ready? One, two, three." Spike said. "Abracadabra!" Spike and Inferno said in unison as they waved their hands around the bag and looked in and got a surprised look. "Spike! Take a look at this!" Inferno said as he pulled out a green striped hanky. But this one is a little bigger. "Wow! It's a green striped hanky! And Steve! This one is definitely your color." Spike said. "It sure is." Steve admitted. "That was great Spike and Inferno! Hey Periwinkle. Can you do the trick one more time for me?" Tickety asked. "Sure I'll try." Periwinkle said as Spike gave him the bag of magic hankies. "Hey guys. I have an idea. Maybe this time if I can get everyone to say the magic word 'Abracadabra' I think we might get a really big magic hanky! Like one with lots of colors from the magic bag." "You know what? That sounds like a great idea Periwinkle! Ok so let's all wave our hands around the bag and together we will say the magic word. Ready? One, two, three." Steve replied. "Abracadabra!" Everyone said in unison as they waved their hands around the bag and when Periwinkle looked in the bag he got the biggest reaction of all. "Yes! Yes! Yes! We did it! Have a look at this!" Periwinkle as he pulled out a HUGE magic hanky. This one was the biggest and when he unfolded it there was lots of colors and patterns on it. "Whoa! Look at that hanky! It's HUGE!! And would you look at all those great colors! That's amazing!" Steve smiled. "Great looking hanky! Thanks for helping me out with this magic trick! Now I can practice it longer and I will remember to say the magic word 'Abracadabra'." Tickety said. "Your welcome Tickety." Inferno replied as he looked on the clock seeing the time was now 2:30pm. "Oh guys. We still have two more clues to find." "Your right. The magician and also my admirer will be here soon. We better get a move on." Periwinkle added. The gang all agreed and headed out of the bedroom and went to the backyard. There they see they stage being build by most of Steve's friends. Since they are gonna watch the show too they figured that it would only be fair if they help out by getting the stage ready. "This is where the magic show will be held at once the magician arrives." Steve said. "That's great. But we still need to find the other two clues." Periwinkle reminded him. "He's right. Come on!" Inferno said as everyone headed back inside and went searching for the next two clues. > The Second Magic Clue and Mailtime > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back inside the gang walked into the living room and Inferno noticed a book with a title that says 'The Magic Book of Colors'. He picked it up and had an idea for some more magic with Periwinkle. The other went on ahead but Periwinkle and Inferno stayed. "Hey Periwinkle! Wanna try another magic trick with me?" Inferno asked. "Sure Inferno." Periwinkle answered as he got out a magic wand. "So what's the magic trick you wanna try?" "See this book?" Inferno asked. "This is The Magic Book of Colors. Now as of right now when I open it I don't see any colors right now. But if you do a little bit of magic by waving your wand and tapping the book three times you might get something in the book." "Ok. Here we go. Abracadabra!" Periwinkle said as he waved the wand and tapped the book three times with it. Then suddenly when Inferno opened it up he and Periwinkle saw all the colors on there now. Periwinkle was starting to get less nervous and hopefully he will be ready to meet the magician and his admirer really soon. "Good job Periwinkle! Your getting better at magic by the second." Inferno complimented. "Thanks. Come on we gotta catch up with the others." Periwinkle said. The two ran off. The wind from them flipped the page to a color but also had a pawprint on it. And we all know that this means that it's a clue! "A clue!" The reader said. Inferno and Periwinkle came back along with the rest of the gang. "Yeah. Maybe Blue would like to try a magic trick with Periwinkle too." Steve said. "No a clue!" The reader corrected. "Oh your saying you see a clue? Well where is it?" Spike asked. Then everyone spread out and began searching for the clue. But Periwinkle who was close to the book might know where it is. "It's on the book!" The reader said. Then Periwinkle looked in the book and saw the clue. "Oh! There it is! Guys! I found the second clue!!" Periwinkle said getting everyone's attention. They all went to the book and saw the clue. "Good job Periwinkle! There's a clue on this color. It looks like a pale cornflower blue." Spike said. "Alright. You know what we need. Our handy dandy..." Inferno started. "Notebook!" The reader finished. "Notebook! Right!" Inferno said as everyone got there notebooks out again. "You know what? I think we need this colored crayon for this clue." Steve said as he got a pale corn flower blue crayon. "So. A pale corn flower blue." "We'll draw a splotch shape like this and we'll color it in. There. A pale corn flower blue." Steve said. "Ok. Were trying to figure out who gave Periwinkle the letter. Our first clue was a wizard hat. Now our second clue is this pale corn flower blue." Spike replied as the images came out. "So who could send Periwinkle the letter with a wizard hat and this pale corn flower blue?" Inferno asked. "Hmm. Im not sure. I guess maybe someone who's skin is that color and can wear the wizard hat?" Periwinkle thought. "Good thinking Periwinkle." Steve said as the images went back in. "But we need to find one more clue and then we'll know for sure." "Ok. And we better make it quick. The clock says it's now 3:30pm." Inferno said pointing at the clock. Then suddenly they heard someone saying "Mailtime." in song. When Spike heard that he knew what time it is. "The mail is here! Come on guys!!" Spike replied as everyone headed to the living room. Then all started singing and at the end they all wailed out 'mail!'. After that Mailbox came in and the gang went to the Thinking Chair to sit down. "Hey guys. I hope you are ready to see one of my magic tricks! Cause Im gonna make your letter appear!" Mailbox replied. He then opened up, as smoke appeared and gave everyone a purple letter. "Thanks Mailbox." Inferno smiled. "Your welcome." Mailbox said as he left. "We just got a letter!" Spike said as they started singing again. When they finished Steve opened it and the letter was from Periwinkle's old friend Plum. "Look. It's a letter from my friend Plum." Periwinkle said as they all heard what he had to say. In the letter "Hi guys. I hope you are treating my friend well. I wanted to send this letter saying that I miss him since he moved away. In fact I'm trying out some magic tricks too. First I tried the Box of Mystery and boy my friends were surprised seeing lots of hankies coming out. Then I tried a hat trick where I pulled out a rabbit from my hat. It's a little though to do though. Then I tried out a vase trick where a placed a huge hanky over the vase and got a bunch of flowers! Finally I wanted to do a grand finale where I made a cute girl disappear and then I brought her back! Anyways I hope you have a fun time with your new friends Periwinkle. But I gotta go now. Bye." Plum replied. Out of the letter "Bye Plum. Thanks again." Periwinkle said as Steve closed the letter and placed it down. "Wow that was really nice of Plum to check on you. And it appears that he is practicing some magic of his own." Steve said. Then suddenly they all heard Inferno's phone go off. He took it out and answered it. "Hello? Oh hi. What? You decided to arrive at 5:30 instead of 6:30? And your on the way here now? Um. Ok we'll be ready for you when you arrive. No problem. Alright thank you." Inferno said nervous as he hung up. "We got a problem guys. The magician is coming at 5:30 instead of 6:30! And we still don't know who it is! What are we gonna do?!" Inferno panicked. "Ok calm down Inferno. We just need to find the third clue and then everything will ok. Let's go find Blue. Maybe she knows where the third clue is." Steve replied. "Ok. Let's go." Inferno said as he calmed down and they went to the backyard where hopefully they will find Blue and the third clue. > Time to Skidoo and The Third Magic Clue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The guys all found Blue at a book of magic. She then skidooed straight into the book. They couldn't believe where she skidooed to. "Look at that. Blue just skidooed! Into the Book of Magic." Steve said. "Maybe the person who sent me the letter is in there. Let's go!" Periwinkle thought. They all got close to the book and sang the skidoo song. Once they all did they skidooed straight into the book. They landed inside the book and looked at their new surroundings. They see everything is all magic based. And they see some people practicing the different magic spells and tricks. "Wow! Now this is a place to practice some magic." Periwinkle said. "You say it Periwinkle. Come on let's check out this place." Spike replied. They all walked around seeing the sights that are yet to behold. Then they spotted a bunny in a purple tux and top hat. He smiled at the group and greeted them. "Greetings Steve, Inferno, Spike, Blue and Periwinkle! I am the Magic Bunny! And I welcome you all to the Magic verse!" He introduced. "Well it's very nice to nice you too Magic Bunny." Steve said. "Hey I was wondering if you like to help me. See I'm trying to figure out what kind of magic tricks that my people are doing and I don't think I can figure this out by myself. Think you can help?" Magic Bunny asked. "Do you wanna help Magic Bunny figure out what kind of magic tricks that his people are doing? You do? Great. Yeah Magic Bunny I think we can help you." Steve answered. "Wonderful! Now when I bring out a few performers all you have to do is figure out what magic trick they're doing." Magic Bunny said. And like that he used his magic to bring out two female magicians that have a bag in their hands. "Ooh. Ok so these girls have a bag. I wonder what they will pull out?" Steve wondered as they pulled out a red hanky. "Oh! It's a red hanky! So what magic trick are they doing?" "The Bag of Magic Hankies!" The reader answered. "Yeah! That's the trick they're doing! They're getting hankies out of the magic bag! Good work." Steve said. "Great! Okay now it's time for Spike and Inferno to guess the next one. It's a little different. Get ready." Magic Bunny replied as he summoned two different magicians with a box. "Ooh ok so this trick has something to do with a box. Wonder what they'll get out of that?" Spike asked as they saw a whole line of hankies coming out. "Wow so a bunch of hankies came out. What trick is that?" "The Box of Mystery!" The reader replied. "Oh yeah! Because that box they have as got to be a mystery if it's empty one minute and has hankies the next. Good job!" Inferno smiled. "Nice work! Ok Periwinkle. I want you to figure out the last trick. Now get ready cause this one is a little tougher than most of them." Magic Bunny replied as he summoned the last two magicians which have a single top hat. "Alright so those two have a top hat. Do you know what trick their doing?" Periwinkle asked as he saw them pull out a cute bunny out. "The Pull the Rabbit Out Trick!" The reader answered. "Yeah! Because that trick is quite easy. Saying the magic word and pull out a cute bunny. Nice job." Periwinkle said. "Wow! Nice job everyone! You figured out all the magic tricks!! I'm really impressed." Magic Bunny said. "Thanks. Oh and Magic Bunny? Did you or one of your friends give Periwinkle this letter?" Steve asked. "No it wasn't me. Nor was it one of my friends. Sorry." Magic Bunny answered. "Oh well I guess we better get moving if were gonna find out who. And not only that but we still have to find one more clue." Spike said. "You are right Spike. Come on guys. Let's go find that third clue." Inferno agreed. So everyone walked off waving goodbye to the Magic Bunny and they passed a section. But then a pawprint appeared out of nowhere and kept on disappearing and reappearing in lots of places! That is the third clue!! "A clue! A clue!" The reader spoke. Then everyone came back after the reader said that. "Yeah. Everything about this place is so cool! I'm really liking the magic." Periwinkle agreed. "No a clue." The reader said. "Oh. Oh you see a clue? Here in the Magic verse? Where?" Spike asked. "Right there!" The reader replied. They looked to their right but the pawprint disappeared and they didn't see it. "We don't see it. Where is it?" Steve said. "It's right there!!" The reader said. Then they quickly looked to the left and saw the paw print before it disappeared again and realized what they said. Steve gasped, "There it is! Our third clue. And it's... uh..., what's it doing?" Inferno stared at it, "It's vanishing and reappearing all over the place." Steve pondered, "What do you call it?" "Oh, I've seen magicians do this all the time on T.V.," Periwinkle realized before clearing his throat, "It's called a magician's exit!" "A magician's exit! That's brilliant, Periwinkle!" Spike complemented, "So our clue is..." "A magician's exit!" They said in unison. Steve mentioned, "We better write this clue down in our handy dandy..." "Notebook! Right!" Steve said as they took out there notebooks. "Ok. So let's draw a magician's exit." "To draw a magician's exit we'll start off with the pawprint in the smoke and then we draw an arrow pointing right at a smaller puff of smoke. And there. A magician's exit." Steve said. "Ok so the magician's exit is our third clue." Spike replied. "Spike. We have all three clues!" Inferno said. "We do? Then that means we can finally figure out who sent me the letter!" Periwinkle said in joy. "That's right Periwinkle! And also that means were ready to sit in the...." Spike said. "Thinking Chair!" The reader said. "Thinking Chair! To figure it out! Let's go!" Inferno said. Then everyone ran and skidooed out of the book and went to the Thinking Chair. All three clues are found! So who gave Periwinkle the letter? Only time will tell. > Thinking Time and The Show Starting > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The gang all ran as fast as they could. They eventually arrived at the Thinking Chair and Steve sat down while the others sat next to him on the sides. "Now that were in the Thinking Chair. Let's think." Steve said as he and the others got their notebooks ready. "Were trying to figure out who sent Periwinkle the letter. And our clues are a wizard's hat.." Inferno said as the image flew above. "..this pale corn flower blue.." Steve continued. "..and a magician's exit." Spike finished. "So who could have sent Periwinkle the letter with a wizard hat, this pale corn flower blue, and a magician's exit?" Steve asked. So everyone, including Periwinkle started thinking. Then Spike got an idea. "Well. Whenever I see three clues like this it always gets me a feeling that it's related to one of my friends." Spike thought. "Really now Spike? Ok. Well maybe this friend of yours probably wears a wizard hat. Yeah. And maybe your friend has pale corn flower blue skin. And maybe, just maybe your friend knows how to do a magician's exit." Periwinkle said as the clues formed like a puzzle. "Good thinking Periwinkle. So who do we know that wears a wizard hat, has pale corn flower blue skin and can possibly do a magician's exit?" Steve asked as the clues formed the answer. "Trixie!!" The reader answered. "Trixie! Yeah cause she wears a wizard hat, she has pale corn flower blue skin and can do a magician's exit for when she ends her magic shows." Spike said. "Hey Blue!" Periwinkle said as Blue came out. "Is Trixie the one that sent me the letter?" Blue nodded yes and when they know that only one thing came to their minds. "So now I know who the magician and my admirer is!" Periwinkle said happily. "Yes we do. But not only that! We just figured out Blues Clues!!" Spike said as he started singing again. After they all finished singing they posed. But before Steve can say anything the doorbell rang. "That's the doorbell. Who do you think is here?" Steve asked. "I have no idea Steve. Let's go see who it is." Inferno replied. They all went to the door with Periwinkle following behind. Once there he stopped in front of it. "Who is it?" Inferno asked. "It's me." A voice said. Inferno was surprised hearing that. And when he opened the door he was the one and only Trixie at the door. She was wearing a light purple dress with a light blue lining on the bottom decorated with diamonds as stars. She wore a dark purple wizard hat and has on a cape. She definitely fits the style of a magician. "Well what do you know? It's Trixie! How are you doing today?" Steve asked. "I'm good. May I come in?" Trixie wondered. "Oh of course! Come on in!" Steve offered. "Thanks Steve." Trixie smiled as she came inside. She sat down and the others came and join her. Periwinkle who wanted to meet her at last jumped into her lap and the two stared in each other's eyes. "So you're the magician who's performing here?" Periwinkle asked. "Why of course. And I heard that you happen you like doing magic too. So I had to see you in person." Trixie answered. "Really? Wow. And thanks for sending me the letter. I had no idea that you were the one that sent it. And you really thought that I was cute?" Periwinkle asked. "Of course I did. And yes I did send you that letter. You are absolutely cute. And I was hoping if you like to be my assistant for this performance tonight?" Trixie offered. "Yes I would Trixie. I would love to be your assistant for tonight's show." Periwinkle smiled. "Oh that's wonderful! Come. We have lots of practice to do." Trixie said as she and Periwinkle left to practice for the show. "Now that's something you don't see every day. Trixie actually wanting to get along with Periwinkle. Not to mention that not only did she wanted him to be her assistant but also be his soulmate." Spike said. "Yeah. I guess you could say that Trixie is a mage who uses love magic is called a Romancer." Inferno joked. The brothers chuckled and Steve couldn't help but join in too. "Ok Inferno that was actually a funny joke you made. Now why don't you go head to the backyard and get ready to watch the magic show. I'll join you in a little bit." Steve said. "Ok Steve. We'll be outside waiting." Inferno said as he and Spike went outside to the backyard. After they left Steve turned and faced the readers. "Hey. You were great helping Periwinkle with all that magic. Without you he wouldn't have gotten the courage to talk to Trixie and he wouldn't have been her assistant. I think you are a great magician yourself." Steve replied as he went to the living room again. "Thank you so much for all your help today. I think you are great at doing magic and you helped Periwinkle a lot." Steve responded as he sang one last time. After he finished singing and said 'That we wanna do' he had these final words to say. "Bye-bye! I'll see you later! I'm off to watch the magic show! See ya! Bye." Steve said as he headed to the backyard and the door closed and we zoom out from Steve's house. And that ends another story of Blues Clues. I hope you loved the magic!
