This was really beautiful. The characterisation was spot on, and the chemistry between the two of them would make a periodic table blush. Usually a fic this short would leave me wanting more, but the pacing here was spot on and the story just feels finished.

Sorry, that's the conversation that popped in my head upon reading that one part of that one line.
Great story, by the way. Unique, as we mentioned in discord, yet it also retains the familiarity of the characters and the situation one expects.
It's like a Periphery album: familiar and comfortable, but with enough originality and flavor to set it apart from the rest of the djent/hardcore scene.
So, Twilight sounded way out of character. You forgot about Spike. Also getting tired of all these lesbian stories. Rainbow isn't a lesbian just because her hair is rainbow-colored.

Sorry, but that's not the story I felt like telling. I wanted it to be more about an internal conflict within Applejack rather than the pair screaming at one another. Felt I should play it another way.
Is AJ's inner monologue referring to her own eyes, here? Dash's eyes are a sharp pinkish-red.

This was sweet. AppleDash isn't my fav, but this was pretty nice. :)
So here it is! I remember really liking this one!
I like(d) it. Especially how they were rather mature - once they'd overcome their thick-headedness. No overblown drama, no rivers of tears or life-threatening scenarios, no 'all or nothing'-approach, just... 'yeah, let's talk'. 'I did wrong, I'm sorry - we're good? Good.' I love it. AJ has a bad temper and RD sure as hell can be forgetful, but they pull through in the end. They always do.
