So it's been a while, huh? Feel like I say that a lot on here. Maybe that should tell me something...
Regardless, I wanted to post a little update since it's the time of joy and giving and whatnot. I haven't died to covid yet, so that's something I can be thankful for. It's been a... tumultuous year. About two weeks after officially announcing that I was continuing Where I Belong, my entire life flipped turned upside down, and I wish I could make that Fresh Prince reference as joyously as it deserves. I wound up homeless for a few months, couch surfing with family until I could get back on my feet. Eventually got settled down and got a new job, but damn if it hasn't been a rough ride. But I'm not here for sympathy, so I'll cut that shit short.
Where I Belong is still going to continue. I know I've said that enough times by now that it means basically nothing, but what else can I say? I don't have a lot of time to write currently, and I'm not sure when that will change. But I refuse to give up on this story. I just don't know when to tell you to expect updates.
Regardless, I'm hoping all of you still out there are having happy holidays or just a good time in this depressing year. Spend some time with loved ones, call your family and tell them you love them, and drink some hot cocoa to keep the cold winter winds at bay.
Unless its hot where you live, then drink a cold one or something.
Or don't, I can't stop you.
Have a good one folks!
Glad you're still with us (in both senses), good luck with 2021!
Your alive, great to hear. Ya 2020 has sucked for everyone.
Happy holidays, glad to see a post from you and that the situation has improved. I'll always read more of your stories, and no rush. Cheers 🍻
