Well worth the wait. Dash's reason for flunking the test was quite interesting. Though, given what we've seen of the Wonderbolts, I have to wonder if Rainbow would have found it possible to be both a Wonderbolt and remain close to her friends.

This was a sweet enough story, but unfortunately I read it at the wrong time.
At the time of this comment, Newbie Dash has been out for close to 2 weeks. And that episode showed that, indeed, RD could be both part of the Wonderbolts AND stay close to her friends.
On top of that, it doesn't have the alternate universe tag, which it really should, considering the differences between what happened in this story and what had actually happened in the show.
So while it IS a well written story, I can't really favorite it.
