I have heard of people going missing at cons that cosplay. so when I went to my local convention as my self, no costume. I bought a dog tag with the name Laguna on it and some how got transported to Equstria and now am dressed as the man with the machine gun, Laguna. The funny part is these ponies are at war.. Its unlike the show that I heard so much of.

It definitely needs some work... but I'm sort of enjoying it, keep improving and maybe you and this story will turn out just fine.

You might want to get an editor before you post another chapter, plus include a status in your story description about cross-overs, that way people won't ask about it in case you won't be doing any cross-over chapters with other Displaced.
