This story is a sequel to Guest Star Kelduo: Justice from Afar
Doctor Hooves: the pony with a fascination for time travel. He has always wanted to attempt such a dangerous task as going into the future or into the past, but he had never imagined that he would go into the future alongside intergalactic hero Helix in order to save present Equestria! Who knows what awaits Doctor Hooves and Helix as they adventure into the future... of Pokemon! Will they become the Champion of a whole region of adventure? Or will they black out and never return home? Only time will tell... or will it? Will this timely adventure be too confusing for our heroes to understand? Will our heroes meet their future selves? Only Arceus knows what will happen...
While this story is labelled as a sequel to another of my stories, Guest Star Kelduo: Justice from Afar, it's more of a pseudo-sequel. Helix tells this story to explain what adventure Helix and Doctor Hooves went through during the time that Helix's colleagues took on the threat to Equestria detailed in chapter 48. If you intend to read the prequel story, I highly recommend reading it first so you avoid spoilers for it. However, don't read chapter 48 or the epilogue until after you read this story, so that it flows clearly and you don't find spoilers for which Pokemon that Helix and the Doctor will have. Also in this story are spoilers for Pokemon Sword and Shield, so read with caution.

No, Victor is the male protagonist that you play as in Pokemon Sword and Shield. I chose Sword to be his last name because he's also known as Sword outside of the game. But don't worry, we'll get to meet the legendary canine soon enough...

Ah, ok. Just guessed based on the last name. I figured Victor was the PC’s name, but Sword felt like it would change based on which canine legendary was obtainable. Also, I haven’t played, but I watched a Dex vid and do the legendary canines ever get their respective equipment? Because in the dex, they are shown without it.

They sure do. You first see them in their more famous Crowned Sword/Crowned Shield forms when... wait, I better not tell you. Just know that in that form, they can one-shot even Gigantamax Pokemon, as seen in Crowned Sword Zacian's Pokedex entry in Pokemon Sword:

I had a feeling someone would ask that. You see, it actually all begins in a non-MLP fanfic of mine that transitions into this story and its prequels. My self-insert OC is a human named Pummel Fist, who was transformed into a Pokemon alongside his mother Heart Fist due to a potion used on them by Archie and Maxie. In order to be able to talk to other humans, they got some help from a Pokemon friend who constructed Pokemon-to-human translators (shaped like the Battle AR seen in Pokken Tournament) for them. After hearing about their adventures, Helix used his Beautifly's Absorb to sap some of the potion from Pummel's body for use on himself; he had thought ahead and created his own translator.
This was a very enjoyable read... Your writing is so fluid and immersive that you really bring these characters to life!
Keep it up! I look forward to seeing the rest of the story progress.

Lemme just open the comment by saying that, even though my Fimfiction account is new, I am not a new reader of this fanfic. In fact, I've been reading your works since Friend Hearts Are Magic, and while I don't want to toot my own horn, I am pretty sure I am your biggest fan. I just haven't bothered to make a Fimfiction account until this moment since I am a big lazy poo.
Anyway, since I have finally given myself the ability to comment, I guess I should actually say something. This story has, in general, been really good. To give you an idea of how good is it, I started reading this series solely because it had Kirby in it, or to be a little more specific because writing a Kirby Star Allies and My Little Pony crossover was an idea I had for a while and I was excited to see someone actually did it. Yet, even though this newest installment doesn't feature much Kirby, and is based around Pokemon, which is something I know very little about, and I am completely hooked on this story! Your writing's definitely improved, the Pokemon Fight Clubbing (sorry, I had to lol) is fun to read, the characters are also fun to read, and the references are funny as always. (In fact I kind of want to get into Pokemon now...)
Anyhoo, on the topic of this chapter. This chapter is pretty good over all, and I particularly found Lucina's speech about why Pokemon choose to get trainers very interesting. I will have to say that I might have liked it better if Rose's villain status was revealed a bit later or if only one or two characters learned about Rose's villainy instead of the entire cast basically, but that's not that big of a problem and knowing you, you'll probably pull it off.
I'm not sure how to cap this off so... REALTY IS AN ILLUSION THE UNIVERSE IS A HOLOGRAM BUY GOLD BYE!!!

OOOOOOOOH REWRITE! While I really enjoyed Friend Hearts (Is it okay if I call it Friend Hearts?) and still enjoy it, I will have to admit that, looking back on it, the writing is a little rough, and I have to admit I remember being a bit confused as some things weren't very well explained, so I perfectly understand why your rewriting it.
By the way, excuse me if I'm completely off here, but is having the juggle making the rewrite and writing this story the reason why there are long breaks between chapter uploads on this story sometimes?

While waiting for the next chapter, there's another story I suggest reading. It's called A Sweetie Dreamland, and it's written by Lucar. In it, Sweetie Belle gets transported to Pop Star where she helps Kirby during most of his adventures. The story covers all of the main series games from Kirby's Adventure to Star Allies, but it doesn't go into details on all the games because the story mainly follows Sweetie, not Kirby. Also, some of the games will have different layouts than you may remember because Sweetie will be going on different paths than Kirby. I know all this because I've read it twice.
