Good news for us demons though, we'll have her exported from Celestia(the location) and turn her into a demon overlord, with Nightmare Moon her personal Prinny Bitch (her sins will make sure she stays a Prinny for atleast 30000 years), dood.

Do a teleportation spell stop the momentum of what it's warping? And about self-levitating, I think Twilight is supposed to become sightly stronger with etch episode.
Also, don't try to make too much logic with MLP:FiM universe, it's full of continuity bug! For instance, in the first episode, when Nightmare Moon appears in Ponyville, we briefly see the CMC together, even if they don't know etch other in the beginning of a latter episode. And that just the most obvious of said bugs!
Honestly, I'm not gonna be surprised if Twilight is going to still be an unicorn in season 4, living new adventure which yet still come after season 3.
As sad as it was, I really enjoyed reading this one-shot, as not since The Things We Leave Behind has a Twilight deathfic hit me so hard in the feels. And just so you know, here's the soundtrack I came up with in my head for certain scenes:

I follow the cartoon's implications that Luna and Nightmare Moon are the same character, not a state of possession.
6523580 Lauren Faust herself once stated in an interview that Nightmare Moon was some-thing- possessing Luna.
So, yeah it's cannon that Luna was possessed then.
If the series creator says that Luna was possessed, then she was possessed.
