After the events with Gabby, all seems well with Rarity and Spike, but there are certain things left unspoken by both of them, and keeping emotions bottled and set aside is never healthy.

First, the purple dragon needs to apologize too.

It was something the dragon never expected to happen. Not by a long shot.

A few months ago, during the Hearth's Warming Eve celebration, Spike discovered that Rarity, the mare of his dreams, had been harbouring feelings for him for just about as long as he had been for her. It was surely a surprise to him, though that and the kiss her confession came with was not an unwanted one.

Now, on Hearts and Hooves Day, the most romantic day of the year, and with all of the necessary preparations made, the dragon resolved to show Rarity just how much she meant to him.

The world is at war, and every race is struggling to survive through this turmoil. The Dravanian Empire has grown powerful and grotesque from their vantage point on the continent of Dor Amrost.

The dravanzi, a descendant race of dragons has begun an assault on the continent of Foronhest, burning villages and castles alike. The child races of ponies and griffins have grown tired in this defeated world. In this bleak world, the lights of courageous beings has grown dim.

Through the darkness that now resides over the lands of Foronhest, the last light of Uldyui shines. The last hope for a crumbling continent: Rarity, the last white mage on the planet.

It is the Hearth's Warming season in Ponyville and everypony and dragon is excited to spend their days with family; the friends gather for one last get-together at Twilight's home before heading off to other cities, but Rarity is hiding something about her holiday with her family.

Pinkie and Fluttershy are off watching the butterfly migration, Twilight, Applejack and Rainbow Dash are in Trottingham and Rarity has stayed behind in Ponyville to finish some orders for her clients. So when a mad chaos spirit is finally able to take a day off, who do you suppose he'll visit?

One morning, while Spike is drooling over a scrumptious looking gem, he is told a very confusing thing. Twilight might like Pinkie.

Her inability to form coherent sentences when the pink mare is around sure seems to lead to that assumption, but assuming isn't enough.

Twilight needs answers, and science is just the way to get them.

There have been multiple disappearances in Ponyville; ponies missing without any explanation. The investigation into these disappearances seem to have found nothing, and the Equestrian Bureau of Investigation has long ended the search for these ponies.

Rainbow Dash has had enough of this cover-up nonsense, and wants answers. She suspects there is more to these missing ponies reports and decides to become an EBI agent.
