Crypticism- Behaving in a way that is cryptic or otherwise difficult to understand
A few months ago, I told the tale of how my high school theatre director has been accused of numerous immoral and illegal actions. It’s a frighteningly common occurrence. But not one that had been concluded, not yet anyway.
Everyone I know had been forced to sign an NDA, because they were involved in the production that led to the snowball finally crashing. The fallout and the destruction that followed, well, that’s where I came in. Seems to be my specialty at this point.
Everyone I know. Because my parents pulled me from that production as soon as they read the synopsis.
But by this time tomorrow, i should finally know the truth. I get to have coffee with the whistleblower. Said whistleblower who thinks I need to change my phone number and move to a different state.
Well, contrary to popular belief, I am also a human who requires social interaction to not have a psychotic breakdown. How quirky and special of me. (sarcasm)
But tomorrow is when I get to determine whether or not I deserve to be burned at the stake for my actions.
And knowing the context, I’ll be able to stop being so goddamn cryptic about this whole thing. What, you think I’d leave you guys without a solid conclusion to a story? I have the exclusive rights to this even. So I am special and quirky for that. (Still sarcasm)
