You're a Good Girl, Chrys... · 10:04pm April 29th
Don't let anyone tell ya otherwise, sugarcube.
This was a cathartic chapter to write. It was actually going to just be 2K tied to the end of Chapter 20 to wrap up the arc with a little bow, but it was unsatisfying. So, I broke it out into its own thing, like I'm want to do being the long-winded writer I am, and came up with this. As Chrysalis' character grows through the story, she's becoming easier for me to write, but I always have to be careful never to go to far. I feel like we're at a nice balance right now, even if Chrysalis hates it. In other news, this!
I hope you kept your eyes open and are ready to dive into the sequel of the story I mentioned last blog! Fun fact, we essentially posted and updated together. There was a beautiful two-ish minutes where we were side-by-side on the homepage. Snapped a screenshot for posterity!
My wonderfully, hard-working friend. Glad to have edited that one.
Also, the ones leaving dislikes on Jym's story along with every comment? I see you and your foaming-at-the-mouth, blind hatred of G5, which is why I want to send everyone I can to shower his fic with love and praise so it stays on featured for as long as possible.
Outside of that? The May Pairings is here again, and I've already started working on it. I'm looking forward to sharing that with you, and it'll be a G5 story! Maybe it will bother the haters too if it hits the featured box so they can continue to pull their hair out over a children's cartoon. Anyway, I gotta get ready for work soon.
See you all in the next blog!

Freaky. I read Stormy Affair just a few days ago (you can blame yourself for that), and now a sequel is live? Gotta revise the review now for when it goes up sometime next month, otherwise my "dependant on if this continues" comments (which were limited, to be clear) will have their sell-by date expired out of the gate!
As for how I found the fic? Well… for now, I'll just say it's an occupational hazard that personal policy means that even if I privately read the sequel now, it's review wouldn't go up until August (I like to leave three months before covering a sequel, to avoid reader/series bias that can be lockout for those not interested). And if it's anything like Stormy Affair, I’d prefer its review to go up sooner, for Stormy Affair is that rare thing: a G5 fic worth spreading the word about.
I love that picture XD
