Greetings, everyone!
I have decided to post this little blog, just so everybody feels updated on what is going on. I wish to address anyone who might be reading this, even if I would especially target my Journey with a Batpony audience, regarding the pause in the publishing of chapters. There is a reason for it, but allow me to explain everything below, if you are interested.
First of all, I need to start with my gracious thanks. The little project that was Your Money or Your Life turned from a small poke at my own profession into something that, honestly, overwhelmed me and granted me new strength at the same time. I don't know how, I don't know why, but it ended up as one of the most generously graded stories on the website, which is... yeah, it's something. And so, a big, heartfelt "Thank you!" to everyone who supported the tale! It's a pleasure to deliver to such a great audience.
Now, the reason for the "Journey's" involuntary hiatus came from the same reason that caused the aforementioned story to be born. As of right now, I have finally finished all of the obligations that were required when it comes to me practicing my craft. I have defended my thesis and been awarded the "Master of Laws" academic title. It took time, ridiculous amount of effort, but I am finally done. And I couldn't be more happy. My storytelling took a hit because of the preparations and stress, but I am, as of this moment, getting back into it. I will do my best to provide the next chapter of Journey as soon as it is done, but my mind needs to get back into the Noctraliyan gear first. At the moment, there are many ideas flooding it, all because of the post-stress whammy that affected me. Worry not, however, those that wander, we are not lost!
Speaking of strange ideas... As a way of clearing my mind and revving up the creative engine, I have decided to step out of my comfort zone in an effort of producing a more... niche tale, I would say. Not something that I write every day, I admit. However, know that I rarely turn down a mental challenge. Hence why, I wish to present to those interested The Rose and the Serpent, a story of the "enthralling" kind, in hopes that I have managed to make this particular idea a little bit more sophisticated than the casual: "Look into my eyes and sleep!" If you would be so kind as to check it out, it would be lovely, though I fully accept that there is only a... specific market for it. Still, maybe I underestimate. It would be nice to be proven wrong.
As for what the future is holding? More "Journey" chapters, seasoned with my heartfelt apology to the readers for the delay, as well as more stories, more ideas.

Ehy Gulheru no need to apologize! From what I know not everyone becomes Master of Laws, so well done! Also there is no rush for the next chapter, take your time just like Midnight Eye said:

Congradulations on the new title. It seems fitting for you. I cant wait for the next chapter of the journey story.. but. I can wait. Ill have to look at this new story you wrote though.
