Why Math is Depressing Sometimes · 12:24am Jan 8th, 2020
I'm a little weird. I occasionally do math I don't have to. I once took the concept of literary world-building way too far. I calculated the density of the "planet". And the percentage of elements in the crust (by weight), the atmospheric composition, distance from the star, and a bunch of other unnecessary details. So it should come as no surprise that I decided to find out the total number of words in my Read It Later bookshelf. The result? 3.2 million. There's not even 50 stories on the shelf. That's an average of about 64,000 words per story. This... may take a while.
LOL, I feel you pal. 64 unread chapters in my read later shelf
5771432
It just keeps getting worse. I've added several dozen long stories to my read later in the last four years and have so far only read two of them
