PseudoBob Delightus

How hard can writing novels be, anyway?

I really liked this one. That ending was great!
Thanks for having me pre-read!

The story is really open ended. I hope I don’t sound like an idiot for not knowing what’s happening, but is this like some kind of time loop? And why doesn’t our protagonist have his memories?

Besides that the story is really good.

Storytelling at its finest. kind of reminds me of Memento.

Bob, you somehow managed to upload two dark/horror stories in quick succession that are both great.

I'm honestly more terrified of the implications of this one, though.

Fuckin' brilliant 👏

Me. My heart was beating. My lenses fogged with every breath. My head was full of holes. And an upside-down badge hung over my chest. I didn't belong here.

the detail of the the badge being upside-down is a subtle early clue in retrospect

Tooth marks.

hehe, because ponies grab knives with their teeth! that is fun

so guessing that, given the repeated mention of “holes” and the fact that the protagonist was addressed as the detective earlier by the policemare, that this is a Changeling with brain problems? the descent at the end was well-done, but i found the emotional stakes a bit lacking. of course, it is hard to set that up in 1000 words with OC characters, and i do appreciate the attempt at fleshing out the background characters with the bickering between the chef and the hoofmaid.
