Regarding A.I Art for Practical Use Here · 4:01am May 5th
So... I know we all hate A.I, as it tears away from hard working artists and true passion away from those who show their skills off to the world. It can be used as an amazing tool but I still support those of free driven artists who put time and soul for their work. I personally will NOT use them as cover Art for my work but... I was wondering what you, as my readers would think that I use them as quick works of... you know how I imagine something versus what you think it is?
I want this especially for my ongoing Dragon Lord's Guardian Series. I have so many dragons in mind, so many characters I want to introduce and I wish for you to see them but... I feel ashamed that I am using A.I art to demonstrate them, rather then pay someone to do it. Personally, I want to pay someone for art that is going to be viewed on the coverart as well as big time characters involved.
So I don't know. What do you think? Do I leave you to your imaginations as I try my best to describe some characters or do you think that its okay to show art here, despite how it goes against those in need of commissions? I just like the idea of you guys having an image to hold onto. I am going to commission someone for my coverart soon along with character designs I feel will be vital to have an image for, but for now, I prefer to hear from you all in general. Id rather respect the artists and writers who support to continue that, rather then lose it by posting A.I art without context.
Oh and expect this month to be a little slow as I have so much going on right now, including two new chapters and more Dragon Tales stories as well as possible, light crossover of Palworld/MLP and MLP/Thems fighting herd soon.
I fully support AI art. In the end, its no different than every other form of technology that made people freak out about how its the end for them.
And maybe it is, but you can't stop this. You can be a Luddite all you want, but this tech isn't going to stop being improved upon and used. It makes things so much easier and you can't beat convenience.

I agree. Where's the "we all hate AI" coming from? Ever since the earlier days of 15.ai and pony diffusion, ai has enabled brony creativity in ways never before possible
I think for chapter images it should be fine but for cover art, having a commissioned image looks better optically.
What you choose to do is up to you, and those who are insulted by the use of AI art, to the point where they stop reading a story when they see it in passing, probably don't deserve pandering to
To me I prefer art by the actual artist not the AI it can never get it right also if u need help with paying for some of those commissions I wouldn’t mind help u out
