As the title says, I find myself in need of a proofreader since my go-to one unfortunately is too busy and had to bow out. So uhh... Anyone got any ideas where I could go to look for one? Or at least point me generally in the right direction? Please and thank you?

I admit I feel a bit nervous (or perhaps self-conscious) about the idea of letting a complete stranger proofread one my stories, but them's the breaks in life and I see no alternative at the moment. And yes, I'm completely aware how silly such apprehension is, considering I'm more than willing to throw my stories out there for everyone to read. I chalk it up to feeling nervous about doing something new and radically different from what I've gotten used to doing.
