This story is a sequel to Seven Girls, Nine Hundred Forty Three Miles, and One Minivan.
Movie night! Twilight's got everything in place for a movie marathon slumber party. Now, if only they could agree what to watch ...
More set in the EQG-verse! While it's in the same loose continuity with the rest of my EQG stuff, it's still a standalone, so you don't have to do any homework to get the jokes.
Ugh random on Netflix. Behold the b movie insanity
Glad to see Gargantulon found his way from Monster Island to EQ Girls Earth, there to have a fulfilling career as a b-movie actor. It's always nice when everyone gets a happy ending.
Oh yeah.. Im down for some meta action in the next chapter as they watch "Horseladies Force: The Complete Collection"
And they end up watching Plan 9 from Outer Space.
1000 bits say watched mating rituals.
Love the Foundation reference. It would make for exactly the kind of movie SciTwi would enjoy!

I was wondering if anyone would get that joke.
Though now that I think of it, I kinda wish I'd worked in some Dune references as well, just 'cause "It's kind of surreal, and then there's an underwear knife fight at the end" is a fun description. (Though if she'd described it that way, I bet RD would wanna watch).
Trying to find a movie with two people is hard enough. With seven it's torture.
I too am happy to see Gargantulon get his big break. And the idea of a movie based on the Foundation books does sound pretty darn awesome.
As for what's actually going to happen... Well, I'll suppose we'll have to wait and see. Though I'd love to see the girls giving Sunset a much-needed crash course in pop culture at some point. (Heck, I may need to write that...)

Ah, Dune...
"It helps if you've read the book... but it also helps you understand the book if you haven't already read it."
"That don't make a lick o' sense."
"David Lynch directed it."
"Ah. Say no more, darling."
I love accidentally watching weird movies on Netflix, because weird stuff becomes memes in my household.
The moral of the story is, Netflix is awesome.
Not where I was expecting this to go, but it did prove enjoyable. Not everything has to escalate into magical mayhem.
Also, blobfish were mentioned, which makes me happy. They're the pinnacle of ugly-cute.
Thank you for this, Tumbleweed.
This was fun. Also, AJ and Rarity, get a room.
Feh. Just watch Princess Bride. Everyone loves Princess Bride. Anyone who doesn't is wrong.
And possibly the devil.
once again you think you can waste our time
“Streamflix is the newest, fastest movie streaming service with the deepest movie inventory. It's great!”
Product placement?!

...Oh my God... This universe... it's a distant prequel to Idiocracy!
"And there was a time in this country, a long time ago, when reading wasn't just for fags and neither was writing. People wrote books and movies, movies that had stories so you cared whose ass it was and why it was farting, and I believe that time can come again!"

No, no, he's got it too- he just keeps it locked in his
And then they end up watching Butt Town.

the only people whose time was wasted here are people who should have stopped reading instead of continuing on with something not worth wile
so you'r the only one wasting your time
the rest is up to the individual
I love the idea of a movie series based on the Foundation.
Edit: Unfortunately, when they did make a TV series based on Foundation, it bore as much resembalnce to the actual books as a fish does Thursday.
I can see in the middle of playful fights like above if the action gets close to Fluttershy they stop and move away without a word.
This shouldn't be that hard. When you get a group together to watch something, and can't think of something everyone want to watch, there is a very simple solution. You watch A New Hope, or the pony equivalent there of. Nobody dislikes the first Star Wars, and it's easy to have playing in the back if something else comes up.
Other than some nice Slice of Life adorbs, I guess I just learned that Netflix has a “Random” button. How come I’ve never seen it before? Where is it?
Applejack, more informed than she looks since forever.
So close, and yet so far...
Are you trying to convince us or yourself? Because you aren't doing a very good job on me...
Welp, now you've gone and done it. You're doomed.
Yes.

Missed opportunity to bring the Canterlot Movie Club in on the movie madness aside, I enjoyed this one! Glad to see Sunset laying down the law when the (other) children start bickering.
Applebloom would probably be the one to try, and fail, to warn Sunset not to select Random.
"Sunset, whatever ya' do, don't go pushin' that there clicker on Random!"
(Selects Random)
"Oh horseapples..."
I can understand the fear of puppets, but guys in suits is kinda ridiculous.
Of course.
Sounds very, weird.
What does that have to do with the conversation.
Uh huh...
They're pillows Fluttershy.
Great.
What!?
