Not much to say except that I love video games, my favorite series being Star Fox and Mass Effect; reading, sports, etc. I have a separate FanFiction account where more of my stories can be found.

Ever since the events of the Fall Formal, Sunset Shimmer has done a lot for Canterlot High, saving the school and its students many times now but even then, Sunset doesn't feel like it's enough. She then decides to take on the seemingly impossible: reform their old adversaries, The Dazzlings, starting with the leader, Adagio herself.

Sunset and Adagio decide on a bet: if Sunset can win her over on "the magic of friendship" in a week's time, Adagio will give it a chance and maybe convince her fellow sirens to follow suit. Will Sunset succeed and make a new friend (or possibly three) or will she truly be in over her head?

Sunset's attitude here really bugs me. Between her final line and her thoughts comparing herself to Twilight, it feels like she's viewing the sirens more as a potential friendship conquest than as people, which gives me some really bad impressions of the direction this might be taking--perhaps that's intentional, and something the story was planning to address, but if not, I'd really question what Sunset's thought process is, because it does not seem like a particularly positive one.

It’s not that she doesn’t consider the sirens as people, she just wants to prove herself to see if she is as capable as Twilight is in Equestria. After all, reforming Discord was a test set up by Celestia herself.

I mean... yes, that's her reason, and that's what I have a problem with. She doesn't consider whether the sirens want or need reformation--especially if this is post-Backstage Pass, I don't think there's much of a case for either--she's just decided that she will feel better if they get it. As far as I can see, there's not much altruism or empathy in her motives.

You have a point and yes, I admit that Sunset is meant to be a little overconfident, hence why if it completely backfires it’s gonna hit her hard.

“You think this is the first time I’ve taken on three girls by myself?”

That sentence is so badly open to misinterpretation, I'd swear it was on purpose.

“So much death,” Adagio said quietly. “Were it by other people, disease, or natural disaster, you never forget about it. You want to know why I consider people here scum? Because they never learned from their mistakes…”

You are one to talk, Adagio. Despite being immortals you and your sisters never learned or changed.

oh boy... I hope nothing bad happen :/
