She threw that one away, as well. Far too informal, and she'd almost certainly bring another friend, too.

Dear Twilight Sparkle;
It's been a while since we got to sit down

Sunset tossed the crumpled paper, and it bounced off the now very full wastebasket.

Her eyes went over to the magical journal. If she wrote in there, the words would be transmitted - permanent. What was written couldn't be unwritten. Before they could go in there, they had to be perfect.

She turned back to the scratch paper and started again.
