The last time Twilight Sparkle was in a maze where Discord was involved, the result was disastrous.

So why did her friends just force her into another maze of Discord's making? And why is she so angry about it?

Wrong decision.

So, from your perspective, the best course of action was for Twilight to stay in her coma and perpetually wallow in misery and self-loathing, all while her friends mourned her absence?

I ain't catching your drift, man.

I assumed they were saying it was a mistake I posted the story at all, really.

Learning to love Big Brother (that is, learning that the torture you've been put through was actually good for you and enlightening) is no way to live. And the opening paragraphs are very clear that Twilight feels betrayed and violated by this supposed treatment her friends came up with.

Great one shot mate, had some chills here, I'm glad Twilight made the right choice.

He just hates Twilight for some reason, no explanation, no reason, and it's very common to him posting on Twilight focused stories, doing this all the time.

This was really good, loved how you incorporated the prompts into this!

Thanks! For the limitations I enjoyed writing the original well enough, but I wanted to expand on it a little without changing too much. I didn't plan on making it a RariTwi story either, that just sort of came naturally.

Thanks! And yes, it's always good when the characters do the right thing.

A perfect demonstration of why ratings do not equal quality.

And that aside, the horror aspect of the beginning was played pretty well.

Is there some sort of symbolism to the dichotomy of the puzzles that I'm missing? I know that it has something to do with Twilight holding herself back due to the curse... but the rest escapes me.

Yes and no. Some of my thinking on the earlier obstacles was just that Twilight was deliberately making things harder than they needed to be, rather than taking the easy option. She also wasn’t willing to trust Starlight, who promised her that the maze was safe.

I don’t think that translated very well to the actual writing, though.

Once she gets out she needs to kick Rarity in the fucking teeth. Stupid, arrogant, spoiled bitch...

I stand by my statement in the previous chapter.
