Hello everyone,
First and foremost, Pericynthion will be continued and will be finished. I've had too many of my favorite stories left incomplete to do that to my own readers.
Hello everyone,
First and foremost, Pericynthion will be continued and will be finished. I've had too many of my favorite stories left incomplete to do that to my own readers.
Just under 7k into Chapter 10... coming along nicely! :)
Hoo-boy, the big one.
My pre-reader can attest to how much I agonized over the issue of how exactly Ender would/could forgive the Luna and Celestia for the events of the inquiry.
Chapter 9 is down!
As usual, I apologize for the long wait. I am now mostly through the process of moving across the country (literally - I'm now on the opposite coast). The last few months involved getting a new car as well as a new house, so it has been a busy spring. I'm not quite settled in - the home loan process takes a long time - but I should have more time to write.
I hope.
Hey all,
I thought I'd take this opportunity to promote and review my favorite HiE fics on FIMFiction. If you like Pericynthion, you might want to give them a try - they all in some way inspired me to start writing myself.
Ladies and gentlemen, the new cover image is finally posted. Companda absolutely blew me away when she first showed me the finished product, and it's been an excruciating three months waiting to share it with all of you.
Since posting chapter 7, which honestly was the preamble to chapter 8, I have sat down at my computer every night thinking 'finally, I'll be able to finish tonight!'
Only to all but fall asleep at my keyboard, the work still not done.
For perspective, I wrote the end part of chapter 8 back in November, and only just integrated it into the final product last night.
I see a way ahead... finally. Chapter is flowing now and hopefully will be out soon.
Anyone willing to help pre-read? I think my regular (and very awesome) pre-reader is busy.
I know it has been forever, and I'm sorry. This next chapter is *long* though, and it has been by far the hardest to write. I'm at 20k words so far and I don't know if I'm halfway done with it. The trouble is, this is not a segment of the story that can be divided... it just can't work that way in the narrative.
That being said, when it is finished, I'm sure you'll find it to have been worth the wait.
So, here's some good news for everybody:
While I was at Nightmare Nights Dallas, I met the lovely and talented Companda. I normally do not buy prints, because that would require me to explain them to house guests, but I was so taken by her piece entitled La Jument Seleniaque that I had to make an exception.
